Hello, Can we disable the stock camera app on Xiaomi Poco X2 use Google Camera for all camera use?
For example, using google camera from lock screen. Taking pictures in instagram and snapchat. I would be glad if anyone could help.

If your device is rooted, you can uninstall the stock camera and make google cam as default.

I tried that, and now my oneplus one cannot connect to the camera. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? Please help quickly! Thank you.
The fix in this thread breaks the camera completely. I ended up restoring via fastboot to fix the issue of the camera not connecting after the flash that was recommended. Cyanogen is aware of the broken Photosphere.

+1. The new camera interface is much better. Can now change from photos to videos with just one click, without going into Settings.

Clear Camera app data. It will uninstall the apk you installed.

Sorry my mistake. You have to disable the app then it will ask for uninstall the appilication. Uninstall it and then enable the same. You'll have default camera again.

You can try installing the Mi A2 camera which is a better camera than the note 6 pro.

You can check theads for root e install gcam, i think you should unlock bootloader before root but i dont know, for the moment my redmi note 6 pro is original, not mod for now.
Last day install miui rom on my mi a2 lite phone.When i open camera manual settings its show me 32 second stutter time.its actually allows me.But No one try to enable this function on redmi note 6 pro. Please help guys

Hello, last time i friend has shown his mi 10 to me and i launched his stock camera app.
i saw that there is a manual video mode when switching to "pro" mode.
I could set the white balance, the exposure, the ISO and the focus when taking video. It was awesome. I could lock the exposure while autofocus was working and videos looked much more precessional without the annoying automatic brightness changes when recording a scene.
Even a log profile could be selected.
I ask my self if the stock camera app of the mi 10 could be ported to note 10( tranfer and modify the apk)
Any ideas? I don't think xiaomi want to give this feature to us..

Hi, in the "pro" tab of the mi 10 camera app there is a button right to the shoot button which let you toggle between video and photo. I cannot see this in your screenshot.

Hello Roman i only have a little issue with manual video in pro mode:
I cant set the manual white balance (Kelvin value)
The only workaround is switching to photo mode, selecting the Kelvin value and then switching back zu Video mode. I hope this can fixed on future..

I was able to donload the mod, but when I tried to go to the settings inside the camera, the camera would close. Then I saw that in the link you put, the solution also comes in case the app is not renamed well or it closed when trying to start it.
The solution is: delete the / data / system / package_cache / folder and restart the phone.
Miui12_Camera (Noise) .zip file adds option ZERO_SHUTTER_LAG is intended to be used by applications that keep a continuous circular buffer of high resolution images during preview and reprocess the images in that buffer into a final capture when activated by the user.
