The same question for What'sApp.

Hi all,
I have two Android devices, Galaxy Y and Galaxy Music. I need to open same whatsApp account on both devices. I have implemented below steps with reference of other threads. But I was fail.
I tried below steps but it asks account verification. Please let me know what was wrong in these steps.
1 - Taken backup of whatsapp (app + data) on source (rooted) device. (using Titanium backup).
2 - Send backup files to destination (rooted) device via blue-tooth . In Titanium backup folder.
3 - Uninstall whatsapp on destination device if already exists.
4 - Restored whatsapp on destination device using Titanium backup.
Please know me if something wrong.
Thank you very much,
Regards,
Urvil B
Since whatsapp gets updated regulary, i dont think it will be long lasting possible to have 2 whatsapp with same number in both devices. Suggest you to go with whatsapp+..
hi
is there a way to restore whatsapp chat from clouds on new android phone if I have lost my previous android device that had all the backup. please help .
Hi,
I want to install a different ROM on my phone but don't want to lose all my Signal (formerly TextSecure) messages. The app only has an option to export an unencrypted text-only backup.
Is there any way I can backup everything using a third party app and restore it after installing a new ROM? I know about apps like Titanium Backup, but the question is will it work properly after restoring?
Hope someone who went through this can help me.
I backed up my WhatsApp messages both to Google Drive and to the SD card, and flashed an AOSP ROM without Google apps.
However, when I copy over my WhatsApp backup it tells me it found a backup from 1/1/70 of 0kb, and then gives the following error:
Sorry, we were unable to restor any of your message history backups.

In the WhatsApp FAQ it basically says you need to be logged into the same Google account and use Google Play Services.
Is there any way to restore a backup without Google Play Services, or am I just SOL with my worthless backup?
I guess in that case best I can do is extract the backup from Google Drive, just for archive purposes.
i am interested to undeestand if I can see contacts which are saved on the google account?

You can go into system files for WhatsApp on the previous device and find the stored chat data & phone clone/Bluetooth the file across and then on the HMS device you can move the file to the exact same place you found it on the old device, That then allows the back up to be restored.
