[Solved]Need help with a locked device - Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello! My device wifi just stopped turning on, and I did reset networking config but that didn't solve the problem, so I reset It. Now I have a device with no networking at all, and now it's also locked because I didn't sign out of my xiaomi account. I wanted to unlock the device and try another rom to see if that solves the problem, but I can't do that since I need first activate the device.
About the device:
-No root
-No developer options enabled
-Wifi doesn't toggle on
-Sim card is not recognized (already tried other ones, in both slots)
-Xiaomi assistance doesn't want to help me at all (neither the seller btw)
I hope you guys could help me. I'm very frustrated because it's a recent new phone :c

Are you able to unlock phone. If yes then you can test the things through QC test by typing this in dialer *#*#64663#*#*

I cant unlock it :c
But before messing with this lock, I tried to test wifi but without success...
As mentioned in a thread, an update could solve the problem, but I need to unlock the bootloader

By EDL, I mean a kind of brute force to flash ROM. Used mainly when hard bricked. As you don't have unlock permission you have to use this method to flash Factory ROM. You can find Instructions in YouTube videos for "Redmi Note 6 pro EDL flashing guide Test point method"

I've just bought a smartphone repair toolkit from Amazon, and I'm waiting for it because I don't have the needed tools to open the device and do the EDL by myself. It might get here around next week, and when done, I say if that worked.

I tried the EDL test points, but the device doesn't vibrate and turn on :c
EDIT: I was doing it wrong, I need firstly to connect the pins, and juts then connect the USB cable. I was doing the opposite hahaha
Windows Device Manager does recognize it, but Mi Flash still doesn't recognize the device on refresh, giving the error "length cannot be less than zero". I'm doing some search.

I read somewhere that the cause could be USB 3.0. So I tried on my laptop, and the flashing worked! Now networking is up again!!!
Obs.: I used the latest global stable ROM

Actually, after flashing a new rom, after 12h the wifi issue returned, and I used this tool: https://www.xiaomitool.com/V2/
I used the option to flash an official rom, followed the app steps, and after the download finished, it couldn't be installed because of a bug So I repeated the steps, but instead of downloading again, i used the already downloaded rom (it is in the app installation folder). Then, success! Has been 2 days with no problem
About the auth itself, even by using EDL, after the reboot, I was prompted again by the mi account... So if you don't have the account, I'm afraid I can't help you... :c
I used this tutorial for the EDL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WfOprRVQww

This is what I would do. Gets you back to complete stock 9.5.something, bootloader locked and everything. So you can start fresh. I've used it multiple times in 7pro and 6t. Works great.

Problems with unlocking bootloader?

So I have a Redmi Note 6 Pro, and I want to unlock its bootloader. I've hade little success, the tool (XiaoMiTool V2) always returns an error: Failed ADB execution, so is there any way my Ryzen system is the problem? I've heard somewhere that having a Ryzen system will cause problems in it, is that the problem?

To unlock Xiaomeme's device bootloader, using MiUnlock IS A MUST. No other tool can do that as for now. So, you know what to do!

But many people have successfully unlocked bootloader with the unofficial tool.
Well using unofficial tool could cause compatibility issues, e.g. cannot run on Ryzen, etc

As far as I know, the unofficial tool got the furthest to unlocking it. The official tool wouldn't even detect my phone. At least the unofficial tool could do that.

Question Hard brick

Hello good to all,
It turns out that I have the device with a hard brick and I can't find a solution to repair it, I've been looking for a similar thread, but nothing. It won't let me in, it's not fastboot, not in recovery or anything, and if I turn it on normally I get: The current image have been destroyed...
How I got to this situation, was after rooting the device with a tutorial here, which worked perfectly for me. It was later when I had the great idea of closing the bootloader with the rooted device, and since then it gives me this error.

1)Just go to service center , if phone is in warranty , they will just flash the device with STOCK ROM using msm tool (best )
2)however they might even replace motherboard for no reason but that will also fix the device (time taking)
3) last option is to use paid msm flashing services costs from 5to 10$ USD , you can find them by Google search (risky)
I had about the same problems, my GT Neo 2 does not load fastboot further. The cyclical startup process is repeated.
Stupidly, I understand now, I decided to wipe data in TWRP recovery
This is what it looks like - youtube
I tried to install custom recovery from this topic, all stages passed without problems, but at the end after rebooting fastboot loops
Have you solved this problem, if so, in what way?
udp
installing this method
but root I couldn't get here
I tried to unlock twrp using the magic installation, but the problem described above appeared
I think I have the same problem as others. Realme appears and restarts continuously. It does not go into fastboot because the boot loader is blocked. What can I do?

Can flashing a new ROM help in "Organization phone"?

Hi XDA members,
I recently received a "Lava Z3" phone from University for free. But, the device is now managed by my University and the device shows "This device is not private" and "This device belongs to your organization".
I want to get rid of this thing and solve this privacy nightmare.
What I've tried so far:
- Tried deleting the "SOTI MobiControl" app with ADB Tools (Didn't work)
- Tried opening the recovery mode with ADB tools and the wiping the data (didn't work) the device wiped and then booted with the same controlled OS.
Please help. How can I solve this issue? Can flashing a new ROM help in this case? or any other suggestion please let me know.

Ok. So, for flashing ROM I need the following right:
- MediaTek Driver
- SPF Tool
- Official Firmware
- ADB maybe
Can you share some guide that can help me flashing the official ROM in my "Lava Z3". I have already downloaded the Official ROM.

Sorry mate, it´s funny, you said to me the same some days ago, but no response at all, it would be enough, if you know a specific step to bypass that, by the way, tools like Unlock Tool injects some specific file to get it, but free apps like SPFT doesn´t have it.
