Downgrade from Tizen 3.0 R770 Gear S3 Classic

I looked for about two days and couldn't find a clear solution for dummies like me and a lot of people who will get to the forum after the Tizen 3 update. Everything is pretty much for the Frontier version except one thread, but it is still unclear what exactly does it accomplish(at least to me).

Can someone tell me how to downgrade to 2.3.2.3 or 2.3.2.4 or whatever is the latest before Tizen 3. Do you loose SPay after downgrading? Do you lose OTA? Ideally I would like keep Spay and also get future OTA. Hopefully Samsung will fix the issues in the future, but I doubt it. I was perfectly happy with 2.3.2.3. The watch was super snappy and had superb battery.
Also,
I can't seem to find netOdin available to download from anywhere. I was going to follow to steps in the above mention thread, but netOdin is not available from the link.

BQC5 is from March 2017...
SM-R770 have no BQH1 for Odin is not for free avalaible yet...
Nobody shared.
BQC5 means timewarp back... nearly 1 year...
3.
Flashing with netOdin is NOT complete riskfree...
You can brick your device...
Own risk!
4.
If you came from BQC5... then you have same status... or nearly same status like before you update to Tizen 3...
If you BQH1 user... then maybe you lost Spay functionality...
5.
If you not able to remember BQC5 or BQH1...
With help of SDB Tool you could check your active CSC/Sales Code...
6.
For netOdin...
Please increase your Search Algo...
Use Search Button in XDA...
You can also search via Google or simple read also other Threads...
7.
We don't know how long Samsung need for fixed Tizen 3 update...
IMHO 2 weeks or more...

I really really appreciate your time writing this post. A lot of it still unknown to me, but will try to do my best to understand it tomorrow morning.
I wasn't saying that I am looking for a risk free option. I was saying that I am looking for a simple option.
I just did another search again for netOdin. Yes there are couple of treads that have a link for it, but once you go in it is missing. It was uploaded to OneDrive. It is not there anymore. I also googled it and the closest I got was to a chinese website which I need invitation to access the forum and download it. So I understand where you are coming from by saying there is no free meal, but I am telling you that I did my research.
Now, I have too learn how to use SDB tool( no idea what it is). I am not gifted like some of you guys here and trust me I am not the only one in this boat.

My understanding on this is that if my Sales Code is BTU when I check with SDB then I was on BQCT which would mean that I can downgrade and still have Spay. Correct?

I hear you about Spay and that issues may arrise when flashing.
If everything goes well with flashing/downgrading and only issue is no SPay, can it be updated in the future to tizen 3.0.*.*?
I guess my question is once this is done and there is no SPay is that forever? Does it have something to do with Knox like on Samsung phones?

Ok. I am on 2.3.2.3 now. I have forgotten how zippy the watch was. Happy so far, will have to wait and see battery life. But unfortunately no SPay...
Any tricks/options of enabling SPay?
Will future update fix SPay on its own?

So I will ask SM-R760 user... if they jump back to CQK3 Firmware...

I was looking for R720XXU2EQJ2 firmware for my Gear S2 to flash it (if somebody have it can share it?) and I have found a unkwnown firrmware "Combination - R720XXU2AOJ2 " and "ENG SBOOT - R720XXU2AOJ2". Someone knows what the different about two firmwares?

Stock Firmware contains USER insted ENGineer

Anyway... why not flash older Version and go the good old FOTA update way? Over the air?

SM-R735 is IMHO the Korean Variant...
So better NOT try...
You need Software Revision 3:

The model that supports is:

Gear S3 Frontier and a zillion threads

So, I've seen that root has been achieved for the S3 and people are attempting to port Android to it. What I'm not seeing anywhere is a guide on rooting that clearly states which models are rootable.
Mine is a SM-765T, does this fall under a general model when looking for info? Ie; Sm-760 as a series or the various letter designations folling the 3 digit part of the model number?
Or is my worst fear the case that my particular model is not root able?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

what are the benefits and reasons to root gear s3

Well I would like root just so I could change the default apps I hate having to always use Samsung apps as my main mail and texting apps just for them to work fully.

new SM- 765F issues - please help!!!

Hi all
Got a new Froniter s3 ( LTE) from Singapore. Hardly used it and after two days of use experience severe issues:
1. watch gets overheated when charging in cradle and watch is on. It can charge only when its off.
2. Sensors fail to work. I intended to use this mainly for sports and HR monitor is not functioning at all ( it uses to work for the first two days).
Other than that watch seems to work ok.
Here are the SW details:
Model: SM-R765FDAAXSP
Tizen- 3.0.0.2
SW version: R765FXXU2CRD2
Knox version: 2.2.0
SE 1.0.0
TIMA 3.0.0
I am out of Singapore and it seems too difficult communicating with Samsung support in Singapore ( there is no international warranty). Whats going on anyone can suggest?? I am so frustrated. I did factory reset more than once and also uninstalled all the Samsung apps from the phone. Nothing helps. I have not yet activated any LTE esim profile. Used the watch only as bluetooth
Can this happen due to a SW version? can I downgrade it? if yes, where can I get the version for the Spore version firmware?

also when phone is on and charging it gets overheated with flashing exclamation mark. It can only get charged when off
I have not yet done any firmware change. Not wanting to void anything unless I know what to do..

Choose this as AP in netOdin...
Later I will upload the other 2 Stock Firmware...
I suggest you first to test with Combination Firmware...
This is standalone Firmware... so no Phone connection required.

No idea what you mean with carrier unlocked...
Firmware(s) is for SM-R765F Singapore (XSP).
Samsung have only carrier locked Gear S3 devices... because this is eSim crap
This is why they did the funny thing with:

SM-R765N New Zealand
SM-R765V Verizon...
You can only use your SM-R765F in Singapore for LTE...
There is no other valid Firmware for SM-R765F...

OK. But I thought that an esim profile can be downloaded with any carrier that supports it and then the watch can be used regardless of carrier, assuming of course that LTE band fits the country frequencies. So if I have this phone which is supporting my country LTE version, which is exactly like in Singapore, can't I activate a new esim profile? The watch I have is with no esim profile at the moment and allows me to download one.

Next chance is... SM-R8xx series... (Galaxy Watch)
But seems to locked to T-Mobile and Vodafone...
But this thime I am not willing to spend money for Samsung...
Tizen 4 is also full of Bxgs and Quality Apps not increased... because all locked down in Tizen Eco System...

here is an update after combination firmware- the upload passed succesfuly.
When watch rebooted it shows once in a while Error - lhd stopped unexpectedly. When pressing OK it goes away and then comes back.
When going to test mode-- Sensor hub test= FAIL

You allready know netOdin and flashed "other" Firmware?
Or by "unknown" accident... or you bought in used condition?
