Anyone know a mod to change the charging animation when the phone is turned off?
Some Chinese phones do have some cool charging animations when they charge while the phone is off
I want to change the animation by Samsung charging animation also since 3 years and i haven't found a solution yet
I have found more but i'm facing an issue because samsung animation i'm looking for use .spi file who can't be decrypt in png file.
With this png file i will be create the battery scale file who is necessary for change animation.
There are a folder in /system/product/etc/res/
and in this folder there the animation (i'm using evolutionX rom).
Besides if you want another animation the rom changes it by pixel animation !

I manage to debug my xiaomi redmi 6a while the charging animation pops up and i capture the application information but when tried to search
com.android keyguard.charge.rapid. LollipopRapidCharge
On root directory I can't find it , i suspicious that it came from system ui.apk

Hi i9003 Community,
its spring and its getting warmer in Germany. Thus I have thought it's time for a little change. Why not changing the phones theme from the dark ICS look to something else, more bright and shiny? So I have created a little MIUI boot animation with it's matching bootlogo and I want to share it with everyone here.
Here is: White MIUI Loading Bar

Inspiration for the MIUI "logo" came from miuiandroid.com
WARNING: I am NOT responsible if you damage your device!
Installation:
Copy the Theme to: /sdcard/MIUI/theme/
Open Settings -> Themes -> Theme Settings -> Boot Animation -> Select MIUI Loading Bar
Shutdown the phone
Enter download mode
Flash the Bootlogo-Tar as PDA with ODIN
Let the phone reboot and have fun!
Nice!
Downloading!
Thanks
I added the TAR with the bootlogo as it wasn't working correctly yesterday.
Sense 4.0 Boot Animations -
Do not try to install these on other roms because I do not know if they work.
These as far as I know will only work on sense 3.5+, maybe 3.0.
To install, copy the files given to you below use Es File Explorer or Root Explorer.
- Find /data/local > inside is two boot Animations named
HTC_bootanimation.zip
Htc_bootdownanimation.zip
Rename the .zip to .bak for both files. (This will keep it backed up and won't be deleted incase you decide you don't like the boot animation)
- Find the boot Animations and click copy to them both.
/data/local > Paste both boot animations.
There is an issue with the boot down, it seems to be smaller or off the screen a bit, the boot up is fine.

I am not liable to anything if you've managed to somehow cause chaos among your phone.

1 - Download.
2 - Backup your existing bootanimation.zip in system/media/ if needed.
3 - Copy bootanimation.zip to system/media/ and overwrite existing .zip (use ES File Explorer or Root Explorer etc.)
4 - Reboot and see!
You can also push via adb but it dosent allow me.

Looks pretty cool to me..
I have a generic tablet IPPO Q8H and when you boot it up the boot animation volume is soo loud the speaker crackles. Is there a way to change the volume? I'm not afraid to dig deep into the file system since its rooted or is there another boot animation I can use because this is rediculous.

Hmm...never thought about changing boot animations or sounds. Can't help myself, but commenting because I'm interested to see what your options might be.
Alright so I did some digging around and found out how to silence the damn thing. You have to go into /System/Media and delete boot.wav or you can even change it to a different sound if you want. You have to be rooted in order to do this!

Also something very strange, I decided to open the file "linuxnew.bmp' and this is what it was.
Less epileptic version of the default boot anim. Root required, move bootanimation.zip to /system/media/ after backing up the original.
Full animation (+lower volume)

Loop only (no sound)
Bonus - Essential PH1 loop
I want to hug you for this. I had just got yelled at the other night for waking my sleeping partner in a dark room by plugging my dead G7 in to charge. It only took a few seconds for it to autopower on and the room went from pitch black to blinding Fallout Vault suit colors. This should make for more inconspicuous booting =)

I'm making some bootanimations and trying to port some of the old moto bootanimations for ocean. What tool do you use to edit it?
