Less epileptic version of the default boot anim. Root required, move bootanimation.zip to /system/media/ after backing up the original.

Loop only (no sound)
Bonus - Essential PH1 loop
I want to hug you for this. I had just got yelled at the other night for waking my sleeping partner in a dark room by plugging my dead G7 in to charge. It only took a few seconds for it to autopower on and the room went from pitch black to blinding Fallout Vault suit colors. This should make for more inconspicuous booting =)

It looks pretty nice...
I'm making some bootanimations and trying to port some of the old moto bootanimations for ocean. What tool do you use to edit it?

Boring weekend, got the idea while at the range.
1) Yes this thing is huge, I'm working on that. When it first boots it might lag for the first half revolution b/c of that. Edit: I've added a smaller version, but it adds a bit of noise around the edges. Hard to see, unless you are staring at it.
2) The pistol on the right is a Beretta 92FX, and a Kimber Raptor II on the left.
3) This isn't complete IMO. I want to add a zombie headshot in the beginning and then fade to this animation. But I can't find something I like yet, and I can't draw worth crap. So I've attached the .psd file for what I'm uploading in case someone else wants to work on this.
Install in /data/local/ however you want. It seems that not many people use adb, but if you do:
Code:
adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local/
adb shell
bootanimation (this tests the animation w/o rebooting)
ctrl+c (to end the animation)
Download Animation
Download Smaller Animation This one has less lag in the beginning, but has some "noise" around the edges.

Hi i9003 Community,
its spring and its getting warmer in Germany. Thus I have thought it's time for a little change. Why not changing the phones theme from the dark ICS look to something else, more bright and shiny? So I have created a little MIUI boot animation with it's matching bootlogo and I want to share it with everyone here.
Here is: White MIUI Loading Bar

Inspiration for the MIUI "logo" came from miuiandroid.com
WARNING: I am NOT responsible if you damage your device!
Installation:
Copy the Theme to: /sdcard/MIUI/theme/
Open Settings -> Themes -> Theme Settings -> Boot Animation -> Select MIUI Loading Bar
Shutdown the phone
Enter download mode
Flash the Bootlogo-Tar as PDA with ODIN
Let the phone reboot and have fun!
Nice!
Downloading!
Thanks
I added the TAR with the bootlogo as it wasn't working correctly yesterday.
I have made a boot animation of a 3D android waving and i thought id share it.
So here it is:

INSTALLATION (my way)
1 - Download.
2 - Backup your existing bootanimation.zip in system/media/ if needed.
3 - Copy bootanimation.zip to system/media/ and overwrite existing .zip (use ES File Explorer or Root Explorer etc.)
4 - Reboot and see!
You can also push via adb but it dosent allow me.
BACKGROUND INFO
This was created on Cinema 4D using a model and animating the arm and head to move. This took a few hours so id appreciate you clicking the thanks button etc.
This is my first boot animation, so comments are appreciated. :good:
nice graphic
maybe u can make a simple and more "xperia play"
Am at the moment Just compressing PNG's which takes forever....
Xperia Play Using Gin2JellyBean 1.8.1
2.3.4 gingerbread
Locked Bootloader
Looks pretty cool to me..
I created this boot animation, frame by frame via photoshop.
A more modern style, with the forced "powered by android" text.
Its just a quick&dirty test for now and I might work on it again next weekend.
The LG logo itself is not made by me. I found on an old USB Stick of mine and Im not sure where I took it from, back then.
Because I did not pay attention, it is now 350x735, but I'll might redo it in 480x800 again.

Have mercy, this is my 1st try on animating.
p.s.
Im on nameless KitKat ROM 4.4.4 and when I want to add sound I add "lgubi.ogg" to desc.txt
and copy the "lgubi.ogg" to system/media and/or system/media/audio/ui. (setting permissions to rw-r-r-), it wont play the sound.
350 735 24
p 0 0 part0
s lgubi.ogg
Renaming it to "PowerOn.ogg", even if there never was a "PowerOn.ogg" does not help here. (desc.txt will have added PowerOn.ogg added ofc)
Also, can I use a background image (full screen) and just put the animation (small circle) on top of it ? That would avoid a lot of "big" images to be loaded.
Not work for my ics rom

I have a generic tablet IPPO Q8H and when you boot it up the boot animation volume is soo loud the speaker crackles. Is there a way to change the volume? I'm not afraid to dig deep into the file system since its rooted or is there another boot animation I can use because this is rediculous.

Hmm...never thought about changing boot animations or sounds. Can't help myself, but commenting because I'm interested to see what your options might be.
Alright so I did some digging around and found out how to silence the damn thing. You have to go into /System/Media and delete boot.wav or you can even change it to a different sound if you want. You have to be rooted in order to do this!

Also something very strange, I decided to open the file "linuxnew.bmp' and this is what it was.
