First of all thanks for the reply.U just gave me hope. Did just everything mentioned there in the post but my msm tool is stuck on param preload plz help me over here.

Try to power off the phone by pressing power button and volume up at the same time and keep em pressed for a while until screen turns off (black)
then press both volume buttons at the same time and connect it with your pc.

How do I get to know that I'm in edl mode?

that happened to my old ativ s as well, it was due to a broken power button (electrically stuck, not mechanically) the only solution for me was to solder a new power button on it. But I just used it as an excuse to get a new phone.

I haven't, it may be very hard depending on the phone model, I just removed it with pliers so I could boot it with a usb cable and I got all the data I needed from my phone.
Can you get your phone into recovery or fastboot mode?

So I try to unsolder the power button and now the phone didn't bootloop anymore. Now I'm waiting the new power button I ordered to see.
And to answer your question, I was not able to reach fastboot or the recovery

if you install gravitybox and xposed there should be an option to turn on the screen with the volume buttons (I'm not sure though, it might have been another module) so you could use that as a temporary solution.

with phone turned off, (you can remove the battery and re plug it), hold the volume down button and connect it to the wall charger(do not use PC,it will trigger lg download mode), then you will be able to go to fastboot.
Once there you can:
fastboot reboot to boot to normal OS
fastboot boot twrp so you can install a rom or any other mod

fastboot reboot - to boot into normal OS

Now I'm just waiting my new power button
i had this **** sorry for swearing i thought its something with my ROM CM13 Nightly I tried the repair service they said that they changed the power button no data was deleted so its probably the button but some one had a guide how to get the phone out that **** using your PC and manual ADB commands ( No program command line only )
I need help with this issue
when this problem reached me it was a meter of replacing the power button itself (it's like stuck there) by the way my phone was still under warranty so they changed it for me

OPO Can't boot in Fastboot mode

Hi,
After 2 days of research, I permit to ask your help. Since replacing my SIM tray soldering on the motherboard of my OPO, I can't boot my OPO normaly.
Just the recovery (TWRP) boot, I can "install", "restore" what I want, but after installing anything change, My OPO reboot into Recovery each time !
Maybe my OPO is briked ? Maybe is it possible to re install Fastboot if it's lost ? Can you help me please.
Thanks in advance for your help !

Maybe I supposed the Vol- vol+ button will be broken, but it seems good... For test, I can’t navigate in TWRP with vol- vol+ button but maybe is normal in 3.0.0 version, please can anyone test and say me is it same ?

Nope, those buttons doesn't work in twrp.
Open up your back cover and clean it(isopropyl alcohol would be awesome). Also, clean volume button strips a bit.At last, make sure you fit back cover correctly.
Thanks, I will clean this afternoon and tell you if resolve the problem

No this toolkit does not run in fastboot mode what you need to do is power off the device and hold volume up and power and plug in your usb cable the screen should be black and then in device manager you should have a option called ports or if the driver for the qualccom port is not installed it should come up and right click the driver that is not installed and select find driver online once that is done click ms 9. Exe and run it as admin

Hey,
I have the same problem with the bootloop and the corrupted locking screen. I'm able to boot into download mode, but I can't figure out which system to flash. I tried several ones, but none of them worked... and I can't get back to the factory recovery. If somebody has an idea which recovery system could work I would be very pleased to know.

Did you try to root your phone?
Did you use any software to alter your phone?
With the right flash commands you can very easy recover your phone. You only need to pay attention to the steps.

Hi there, I am encountering the same issue.
It is a chinese op9
The situation:
The screen is totally black
connecting to power supply - no reaction
holding only power (30 sec) - no reaction
holding + - loudness - no reaction
holding + + loudness - seams like a reboot, because windows is reacting to it "Qualcom HS-USB QDLoader 9008 - Com4" work is disapearing and later on reapearing in device manager
In the MSM Tool it says:
1. Try to get PBL info
2. start download firehose binary and after 18sec.
3. Sahara communication failed....always
Any ideas or advices?
