Hey guys just a small note, if you download Google camera, you can now choose 10.2 megapixel camera for photos. Front 1080p video recording, but rear camera is still CIF or QVGA. Hope this helps guys!

it's called FIUI not MIUI

He made one for FIUI I have a copy of it from last month. Did you see the link to the full post? And on top of that he showed how to make your own FIUI ROM.

seems nice I have seen the post on MIUI too, but haven't tried it that yet... whats so special about this rom ? (just curious) have tried to search some youtube videos but they don't show much about the rom... I mean special features...

So first, your link points to an old alpha build. As i could understand that thread, they use FIUI 2.5.0, while my build uses latest 2.11.0.
Second, my build is based on Xperience.cyanogeN, so battery life and sound should be a little bit better.
And NO, i didn't used the port method mentioned in that thread. You can read that in credits.
And NO, i didn't steal that port. Mine is based of Nexus 4 build by nic and was 'compiled' yesterday.
Plus, this Rom should be stable - not alpha. It's based on CM11 M12 - i had no FC except FIUI Launcher but that's not my part, it also happens on offical N4 build.

FIUI's navigation Method is different:
You dont have the default nav bar. On some apps you dont have any at all (e.g. homescreen, camera), on some you only have back and menu buttons.
Home and recents can be used by swiping from bottom center and bottom right.
Then, the statusbar will be tinted automaticly, like iOS.
And FIUI has an own design, something like miui in Material .

Nice Rom, just installed as 2nd Rom with multirom.
Good feature - the dynamic navbar.
Gapps: is it too much to read the op?

I believed that it was under lollipop... Pity ... What is exactly fui could we compare it to miui ?

Just download the rom and try it out.
It will not hurt you.

FIUI has (currently) no own apps,
Google Camera, Google Play Music and Chrome are included (as in original N4 rom)

Yes, it's also a chinese Rom. Fiui looks similar MIUI6. Fiui is currently based on CM11, sorry. I know it's not the best time to release a Rom based on 4.4.4 kitkat.

Not sure if you've noticed, but no other phone has a second screen... Same reason a lot of do stuff works for other phones and not this one...

He's talking about the systemui from the g5, not the launcher from the g3... Also doesn't help that there is currently 1 whole dev working on stock for this phone... So in closing, it's not going to happen... Or at least till it can be ported from the v20

And what I'm saying is that there is a flashable port of the g5 launcher that will work fine on our model. It was created for the g3. I'm running it now.

Make volte available for oneplus one

Hello to all the developers of XDA. we all know that there are so many people across the world who owned oneplus one (flagship killer 2014). The device is a beast and u all make so many things for this device :fingers-crossed:
But unfortunately there is only one thing which is missing i.e volte. :crying:
The hardware of this device supports volte but unfortunately there is no software support for oneplus one.
Please its my request from all the owners of the oneplus one to XDA developers make volte available for this beast and we all know that nothing is impossible for the developers of XDA.

It's easy,you can do it by yourself.
Procedure- Just go to status bar settings of your rom then enable status bar carrier name and write the carrier name- 'VoLTE' without quotes,That's it! Now you'll see VoLTE icon on status bar.
Go and spread the word to other VoLTE aspirants for OPO.

Our fellow forum member 'AK' is just having little fun with you .
Oneplus One does support Volte on hardware front. But to make it work, the OEM (Qualcomm) has to release the source code. Without that the developers are helpless.
They never released the code, and I'm sure they won't do that in future.
So please forget about Volte, and move on. Accept it

You don't even need Xposed,you just need a rom with Status bar carrier option which most of custom roms contain.And trust me,I've fooled many sd801 users with that,including zuk z1 users.
It's satisfying atleast.

What we need is just updated firmware with updated modem with Volte support.Even getting official Nougat won't help as we already know what happened with Zuk Z1 users.

well sir its nothing about hurting here its about how much you can learn from here and about status bar feature as u described my opo is running on stock cm11s so no such features included in this rom .

They have a bigger portfolio of devices to support now though, unlike Nokia with 4 phones for example.

Yesterday I got the December Security Path update, but as long as I have root, I didn't update. Now, the OTA has gone. I guess it will rollout as Oreo Update as well
It's a good Santa's gift, isn't it? Hahaha

Just don't tell they're this year phones. Sure they'll get oreo quicker than 2016 phones.

I posted on Facebook how to capture the OTA URL, but people are not willing to help.
That's a pity I still haven't got the OTA. Still stuck on Android 7.1.1 with November patch...
Could you check again going to Settings -> About Phone -> System Update ?
If you still have the option to download the OTA, it's very easy to capture its address...

Moto Actions, Voice and Files didn't work here. Others apps works fine.
Even Moto Snap Manager with Incipio.. now I can disable charge phone even with Incipio connected

You use stock chinese firmware? Without gapps? I have retcn moto, flash it to retus and no otas available at all.
Planning to reflash with stock rom and lock bootloader. Maybe it helps to get new otas.

no i dont use chinese firmware, i came to know from the moto z telegram group. Someone posted there and i thought it would be great to let you guys know that brazil isn't the only country to recieve Oreo as of now

how do you get in that telegram group?
