Hello, are there any pc sync managers for android, similar to MediaGo? I used MediaGo since I had my Xperia Tipo and it worked great with Samsungs and Huaweis since. But now it's discontinued and I can't find anything similar.
What I'm looking for:
-Sync with USB
-Knows which files are already shared between PC & Android, so I don't have to manually keep track which files to transfer.
-Syncs to folders (eg. Pictures from Android album "funny" goes to PC folder "funny")
That's really the main requirements. Please help.

Won't let me post it in the WM forums so I'll ask here. I've been using Android for the past 2 years but I'm considering a switch to Windows Mobile (8), mainly out of curiosity. However, before I do so, I want to make sure it's capable of all the stuff I could easily do on my Android device.
So, let's get to it. Is WM8 capable of:
- File managing? Downloading a .rar or .zip archive, extracting it's contents and opening them (be it music, documents, videos, anything)? Also, browsing ALL the files on the phone, not just the known formats or visible ones?
- File transfer between devices? Simply taking a picture or any type of file and sending it via Bluetooth, as well as receiving it?
- Media playback? I'm assuming it can play MP3s, WMVs and AVIs, how about some less usual stuff like MKVs or FLAC files?
- YouTube? Is there a dedicated app or is it just viewing via browser?
Some minor questions include:
- How's file transfer between PC and Phone? Can it be done via explorer like an USB device or do you need to do the SkyDive and Zune player transfers to get stuff on your phone?
- Does it have some minor apps, "Accessories" you could call them, such as Calculator, Calendar, Sound record, etc ?
- Is there anything else you'd tell and Android user transfering to Windows Phone?
Missing are access to program folders including torrent folders where i've download videos and music on my phone and now am unable to transfer to my pc. Unlike the s4 and s2 which I've previously own, I cant access a ton of folders in the Nexus 5, Is this by design or is there something wrong with my connection. If by design is there a way to bypass it.
I need an app that can reverse sync my files stored in my android to my pc
Little description:
I download music on my phone and store them on my pc. So, my pc and phone have a lot files in common. Now, if I download a new music file and want to store it in my pc I have to manually do that, cause syncing apps sync all files in my phone with pc.
I need an app that will scan my music folder(pc) and then sync only the files that are not present in my pc
Any suggestions?
Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to transfer whole albums from my android phone (LG G4) to my Windows PC. I use Google Photos as my app for managing images and creating albums within the app, but when I connect my phone to my PC via usb, I no longer see the albums but all the images mixed up. I figured there must be an app (diferent to google photos) which will allow me to do this. Do you know any? Or any other way to do this?
Thank you!
I just use seperate folders and Syncthing, it's open source too and works really well
I'm looking for a solution, which allows me to sync some of my sdcard folders with pc folders (I want to use a PC as a backup, I don't want any cloud storages). I need an app or some other simple solution. Not sure if it's a good forum. Any ideas?
Hi,
I use smbsync2 (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sentaroh.android.SMBSync2) which syncs to a network storage on your computer. The UI is not the best but there are a lot of youtube videos explaining the setup.
Best regards Tobi
