Ok i have followed insturctions from

But once i reboot my phone i get stuck at the T-Mobile Splash Screen.
I have tried a number of things to root this phone and nothing works.
So my questions is this...... Is there or is there not any types of root for the
Galaxy J7 SM-J700T T-Mobile MM 6.0.1

Yes as of right now, i am on stock fiemware with TWRP Recovery installed.
As soon as i Try flashing SuperSU thats when i get stuck and tmobile boot Screen.

Hey just did it and it worked thanks i have tried and tried and never got it.
Till now
Thanks, used odin and flashed Kernel then TWRP then booted into TWRP and flashed SuperSU and everythibg works perfect

thanks... the result is the same ... I even installed the another rom and the same thing happens ... after the LG image always comes back to TWRP...

backup your data in internal storage, copy rom to external card. enter TWRP recovery, mount, format data. Then flash dm-verify files. Reboot in recovery again, in mount, check tick system, data.
Now you can flash rom

Impossible ... everything installs well but on rebooting for the first time after installing the rom always comes back to twrp ... I do not know what I can do

solved, I have reinstalled the rom original and I started of 0 following the manual. Thanks to all and excellent rom.

I had a similar issue and had to LGUP a clean 20a, then root/install TWRP and now Tizen v2.0 running nicely - looks good and I like the transparent widgets on the homepage especially!

Yeah, some people want the old version, some want the new. And CyanogenMod doesn't update an old thread whenever they update to a new version.

I would understand, but it is barely an update, thats my point, with cm its done because of each ROM having different android versions, imo in this case ita quite pointless just to fill the dev section.

flash new bootloader and modem first, then flash ROM
but I do suggest an update to N via LGUP first

Hello guys!
In this thread i'll present an new ROM for Lenovo A706 (armani_row). This is an unofficial build, so this not supported by Lineage OS team.
Please be sure to read (and re-read) carefully, to avoid unnecessary questions.
What is Lineage OS?
Cyanogenmod is dead, and its successor is Lineage OS.
What works:
1. Bluetooth
2. Camera
3. Sound
4. WiFi
5. GPS
6. Sensors(Proximity and GSensor)
7. Microphone
8. Speaker
9. Dolby System(When earphones plugged in)
What doesn't work:
1. Front Camera
Flash Instructions:
1. Download and flash Philz Touch Recovery.
2. Download the ROM and copy it to your SD Card.
3. Reboot your device into the Philz Touch Recovery(by pressing Power+Vol UP+Down buttons at the same time).
4. Wipe cache and Dalvik cache and then factory reset your device.
5. Navigate to your ROM file location and flash the rom.
6. Wait till the process completes.
7. Reboot your phone.
Enjoy!
Note: 1. Download and copy the boot.img file to the rom and then flash the rom.
2. It will take some time to startup the device around 15-20 minutes.
3. Don't panic if your device don't show the charging animation, just plug in your device to charger and it will start charging.
4. Don't update to CM 14.1 using the OTA updates (SYSTEM UPDATES).

Hi guys, the boot loop issue has been solved but it seems that there is one more issue which needs to be fixed and my exams are getting over on 25/03/2017 so you all have to wait till the exams get over then I'll fix the issue and develop more ROMs for lenovo a706 and u can also suggest me a few cool ROMs which I can develop for this device. Flashing by replacing boot.img is not working, still getting bootloop. Tried flashing a couple of time but could not proceed ahead of boot screen for hours. Kindly advise what can be done.

It's not fake, it's Lineage OS 14.1 but just I used the build.prop of cm11 (i.e., it is a ported rom) :laugh:

After flashing by replacing with new boot.img file, when I select to boot the device, it shows the lenovo logo and automatically shuts down. Powering on the device gives the same result. I also tried to wipe cache/data after flashing the rom but to no avail. Kindly suggest solution for this.

download the 3 lib files from the thread in downloads section then navigate to system>lib in the rom and overwrite the 3 files there and then flash the rom and even if it wont boot up then download the new boot.img from here and then try again. Even if it won't boot up then I have to start developing the rom from scratch and u all have to wait again .

Everything except all the samsungy tech such as iris scanner, double aperture thing and I believe it was auto brightness or something related to brightness slider.. Cmiw

Brightness slider bug is fixed. Just Fingerprint isn't 100% working atm.

How to flash:
- Obviously, unlock your bootloader
- Download the system.img on the first post
- Flash the system.img through twrp
- Do a Factory reset
- Reboot

Any ideas why I can't flash system.img via twrp? It tells me I can't flash a system image to a file partition or something. I've had to use Odin to flash it by converting to a tar.md5

I also had the same issue with TWRP I flashed to stock with Odin since I was using a custom rom but I am in prenormal jail for 7 days if you figure it out please let me know.

I have the same problem. I am unable to update system.img. Is twrp while choosing system partition. Please help. I bit the big and rooted the device just to taste also.

Just install stock firmware once via recovery, then flash as directed, it will boot. Please press thanks on the thread xD

Hello, first of all thank you for your work. It's nice to see than this old cheap phone can get an unnoficial A10. I've Flashed all the files as described in this guide, but stuck on three dots animation. How can I fix this? ?

Hello, I think the WebView fix patch is not the correct file? When I download it I get the Resurrection Remix patch. I think the filename may be mistaken. Please help to check!

I finally managed to boot it, first I formated system, data & both caches, then flashed latest miui.zip, then the .img, then the patch.zip (however it rebooted as it was flashing that zip, just got into twrp again and tried to flash the patch again), then the webview fix. AND finally, the decerypt.zip
Now I just need to test it.

does it have VoLTE support ?

I finally managed to boot it, first I formated system, data & both caches, then flashed latest miui.zip, then the .img, then the patch.zip (however it rebooted as it was flashing that zip, just got into twrp again and tried to flash the patch again), then the webview fix. AND finally, the decerypt.zip
Now I just need to test it.
