Any ideas why I can't flash system.img via twrp? It tells me I can't flash a system image to a file partition or something. I've had to use Odin to flash it by converting to a tar.md5

I would understand, but it is barely an update, thats my point, with cm its done because of each ROM having different android versions, imo in this case ita quite pointless just to fill the dev section.

Oh, I never knew that existed, I was talking about the 6 version thread.
Hi guys, since our device supports project Treble we can flash a Generic System Image(GSI). Many thanks to the developers work on this i hope many members can support them with feedback and donations. By the way our device is supported you can check the list of supported devices for phhusson Roms .
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you want to test a couple of roms by @phhusson visit these links:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- phh-Treble AOSP Thread
- LineageOS 15.1 phh-Treble Thread
- Resurrection Remix phh-Treble Thread
--------------------------------------------------------------
Other Treble supported Roms by other developers:
--------------------------------------------------------------
- Pixel Experience [AOSP] by @jhenrique09
- DroidOnTime - dotOS 2.x by @kubersharma
- Cosmic-OS_Pulsar__8.1.0 by @noobstyle1337
- AOSIP by @noobstyle1337
+ Make sure to flash the "Image for ARM64 A-only device" since our device supports only partition A.
+ How to flash guide
Please give your feedback on tested Roms. Good luck
I wouldn't mind testing these, as I do have TWRP and have my bootloader unlocked, but correct me if I'm wrong, we lose the squeezing function if we flash any of these correct?

Yep, also the stock camera app might not work well if you manage to install it. That's why I am not in a hurry to test these Roms mainly because this device is my daily driver.

Cool, I will add it to the list. Thanks
Ran v17 of Phh-treble earlier this month to get a taste of stock. It was so close to a daily driver back then.
Camera was a bit of a bummer. They said camera2 api was disabled; enabling it and throwing on google cam just caused crashes on launch. Stock camera was pretty potato but worked.
Apart from that I just had an issue with the vibration motor being a bit strange (a bit too aggressive during taps) and the play store not downloading apps (which appears to be fixed in the latest version).
Bluetooth music also appeared to have random cutouts during playback.
Everything else I used appeared to work. No squeeze feature though.
has anyone tried the PixelExperience rom?
Can anyone please write a guide from scratch ?

Did you change the the rom from .zip to .img you need to do that first, if that didn't work try to flash using Adb instead of TWRP.
I have attached a link to the guide, it might help you with troubleshooting.

Latest Red Wolf Recovery, I flashed MIUI from this thread and GAPPS for MIUI 10 from other.

So PIE with ONE UI is released for A750FN
It's from SER (Russia) region, keep it in mind, as after first boot you will have to change language to one you want!
GOOGLE DRIVE
Flash using ODIN
KEEP IN MIND, it's for A750FN
Flashing on different than FN version may cause bootloops!
OEM Unlock option MAY BE missing after flashing!
If OEM Unlock is missing, do factory reset, log into Google and Samsung account and wait... It may come same day (happend to me), or in one week!
@prashantp01 is working on TWRP flashable .zip, so you can keep root and user data
Issues:
-Stock keyboard is using only Easy European languages
-Some SER bloatware preinstalled
-Some settings or / and apps are not translated
Screenshots

There is chance that OEM unlock option will be missing so you won't be able to root. But once we will get .zip to flash from TWRP, you won't have to worry about locking your bootloader

Magisk is working fine together with TWRP from @Asphyx thread
Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short. Its a fully touch driven user interface, completely theme-able & you can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
Now ported to the SM-A315F | SM-A315F/DS | SM-A315G/DS | SM-A315G | SM-A315N. (DS means Dual Sim, thing that doesn't matter a lot for TWRP)
I am not responsible for any bricked imei, when flashing TWRP backup the EFS & NVRAM partitions to be safe, do not root until having an actually good working backup, if you signal goes restore your backup, if you didn't have a previous backup I got a fix for you , flash your firmware as always but on the CP slot in Odin Flash Tool get the CP slot from a CUD4 firmware corresponding your CSC code.

There is for A32 -- not much as it should, but it at least has. A31 has no, basically no rom other than the stock. It's a real pity.
I won't stop saying that until one pops up out of nowhere then I shut my mouth while it didn't happen I couldn't... deal with it the same way we do
Send me the xda thread of that roms.
I doubt A32 got more to offer than A31
And roms don't pop out of nowhere, we're trying to develop and that requires time, money and people.
Is it able to decrypt encrypted folder? i got random string (encrypted) after installing twrp.

Make sure to follow this section:
How to install
[Boot Into Download mode by inserting an usb cable while holding both volume buttons]
Flash the latest .tar release from releases, it may require Magisk patched vbmeta.img
Hold the recovery combination (Volume Up + Power) while the .tar is flashing via the odin tool.
When booted up into TWRP go Flash and flash this zip, then go to Wipe > Format Data, all your data will be lost.
You can now boot into your system and do whatever you want.

And roms don't pop out of nowhere, we're trying to develop and that requires time, money and people.
