D2302 TWRP failed. Phone doesn't turn on. - Sony Xperia M2

Hello, Earlier i had unlocked bootloader and also had root access but now the root access is gone along with twrp. I have tried to adb recovery reboot but now phone won't start. cmd prompts that there is no device connected. It shows red light when I'm charging. It also vibrates 3 times when i press power + volume up button. What could have possibly gone wrong?? Did i brick the phone somehow? I am not expert in this field. Any help will be appreciated.:fingers-crossed:

sim card slot has little off button press that then turn phone on again...sounds similar to my adventure with the phone too

Unfortunately it does not seem to work.

The simplest solution is flashing the stock FW (18.6.A.0.182). Using flashtool 0.9.18.6

Thank you very much. I flashed the kernel and got twrp back. Now there's only issue. I didn't backup anything so everything is gone from internal storage. 4.9gb out 4.9gb is available. How do i proceed next as i need to get android 7 or android 8 or even 10 ?

Help installing GB rom. May be bricked.

I'm a noob and I wiped my phone before trying recovery! DERP. Not sure what to do next.
So... I need a little help. I've been looking around and havent been able to find a situation like mine. I've got a completely wiped/factory reset HTC Inspire 4g. SD card is good and reformatted to fat32. Heres the basics. When I press the power button I get 3 vibrate and orange light, when I press volume down and power I get 5 vibrates and green light. When I plug phone in with usb (to computer or charger) I get clockworkmod recovery v5.0.2.7. I am able to toggle through options, all works fine.
This is where I need help and I get easily confused. What do I do to get this phone back to stock settings? I've tried putting the stock pd98img.zip file onto the sd card, then installing via clockwork recovery. When I do this, I get failed installation EVERY time. I've also tried connecting through ace hack kit on my lap top and running the stock settings flash. Whenever it resets the phone it does the 3 vibrates/orange light and stops.
I would really appreciate someone with a little more experience to walk me through what I need to do to recover.
Update: When I try to download the zip from the sd card via clockworkmod I get the error E:Signature Verification Failed. I'm not sure what this means.
If someone can solve my problem I'll buy them lunch or coffee! Some kind of gift card to your favorite place? I'd really like my android back!

You only flash pd98 files from fast boot not from CWM recovery. Boot in bootloader and it will find it
I am going to come off as the biggest noob here, but its got to be done. How do you boot in bootloader?
EDIT: Alright. So Bootloader is Volume down and power. My phone won't boot into bootloader. Phone vibrate 5 times and green led comes on. Screen stays black the whole time.

Ok i dont use CWM but there maybe an option in there to reboot into bootloader. Try holding volume up and power. Could be confusing devices on that though

Nah, no other combo's work for getting into bootloader or rebooting it. From what I've read on other forums, if I can't get into bootloader, I'm bricked. Do you think since the phone is wiped back to factory settings that HTC would replace it under the warranty?
Since you can boot into recovery, adb should still work. Enter recovery then plug in your phone to PC and run adb reboot bootloader
Have you tried reflashing a rom in recovery aswell?

If you are booting into CWM your not back to factory. As stated above you can use adb to boot into bootloader
Just making sure I'm doing this right as its the first time I've ever use adb commands to me phone. Do I need to downloand Android SDK to write commands to the phone?
Okay. I've learned how to use the adb commands. That was cool. haha. So I popped the battery out, then back in to get to CWM. With phone connected to computer I tried adb reboot bootloader. My phone rebooted itself, but it did the 3 vibrates with a flashing orange LED. Adb reboot recovery does the same thing.
For being in recovery. Are you guys talking about the volume down power combination, when I do this and connect the phone to the pc, the pc doesn't detect the phone. So there is no abd commands/flashing roms to it in recovery.

A whole lot of problems with Xperia J - please read

Yesterday, I started unlocking my bootloader on Xperia J ST26i in order to eventually finish with installing ParanoidAndroid 3. It all went successful until I got to the last step of rooting the device. This - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183737 - is the method I used. I was confused when I got to step 16, because the kernel I copied for flash didn't show up. So, I'd finish with two choices after shutting the phone down, having exited CWM Recovery. I would either open CWM again, after seeing LEDs glowing purple/blue in order to press Volume down key to enter CWM - or to ignore and finish seeing grayscreen. Luckily, I was able to find a JB 4.1.2 kernel for my rooted Xperia J, so I put it and flashed it instead of the ICS kernel provided on the thread I referred to. That solved the problem. I had JB 4.1.2 installed and rooted with ROM Manager installed along with SuperSU app. The next step I was going to do was to install a ClockWork Recovery, I hesitated installing PA3 directly without a recovery image. Ironically, CW Recovery is what really made all the problems now. Searching on Google I found a way to boot directly to ClockWork Recovery, I pressed and held the buttons for initiating it but I ended up with literally no way to normally boot the phone. So, I couldn't turn on the phone except in fastboot mode. In fastboot, I whiped all the data, reset to defaults, reinstalled the boot.img and JB kernel, however after all the resets and whipping anything that, according to many sites and devs, should make the phone function again...it failed. After a dozen times of taking out the battery, button combos I ended up not being able to access neither fastboot mode with CWM showing all those options for whipping, installing etc. Only phone's upper LED was working and it blinked red so I recharged the phone, then it was all the same but it'd blink green. After another hour of trying to turn on the phone in any mode, nothing good happened. When I held the power button, it vibrated but after a minute or so only green LED activated. Then I downloaded recovery exit zips that I'd install if ever got to CWM again. I tried once again to directly boot into CWM recovering by holding the power button down and both sides of volume rocker. It blinked light blue, then green and later blue. Device flasher couldn't read the phone, so I opened flash mode. It read it, but any installation of boots or kernels failed because of the phone that either disconnected or simply failed. There was no way for me to put more files on Internal Storage or SD Card, only those LEDs started behaving the way I described. After another twenty times of battery removing, 10 second and 30 s waiting, button combos, anything I could find on Google, nothing changed. Except, suddenly, the computer is able to link with the phone after holding power button for boot that only activated the green/blue/violet LED. Still, no response from flashing program, still failed to enter fastboot, CWM, direct CWM Recovery etc. But, now when my phone is, let's say, turned on with green or blue light, I can access SD Card and Internal Storage via Windows Explorer. Just below the hard drives, I can see my phone. Great? No, it's not Xperia J as it should be, PC detects Xperia Tipo. I also noted that it's mistaken SD Card for Internal Storage... Let's see what happens when I remove SD card from the device. Please help...
Bricked
And yes, this means it's bricked. Can't boot into CWM or anything. It's only good as a storage unit, energy consuming or as a brick. I got this phone in January so please don't tell me it's irreversibly hard bricked.

Okay, so first calm down. Any sign of life means it's not hard bricked but just soft bricked.
1st download flashtool: link
2. download ur stock ftf link
3. flash it with flashtool
and u should be fine again, back to stock with a fresh phone.
Can't fastboot device - remember: button combos don't work
I've also found some solutions for more severe soft-bricking, by the way. Anyway, how to make phone open fastboot? I've said it's unresponsive to all of the button combo commands. Though, I tried one more time.
Opened the flashtool... Held volume up and plugged in the USB cable...

Remember to pull up battery (and pull in of course ) than go to flashtool, fastboot PWR + Vol Up.

sony xperia j - alarm problem
Hi guys,
I bought Sony Xperia J and 2 months ago I upgraded the Android to the latest version 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).
After the upgrade the Alarm on the phone does not go off, it starts to ring (the alarm) only when I press the button to unlock the phone, I've read somewhere that when the screen is off the clock is not refreshes properly or something like that.
Can you please, help me?
Regards
Lol I know that feel bro.... It happened to me few days ago but no worries i just flashed the firmware using flashtool whenever i failed. Now i'm happy with my CM10 with vengeance kernel... its not the phone that's causing the problem its up to us how we handle it and i didnt find PA3 that interesting it was too laggy for me...
I didn't experience any of such problems that you have, but still listen to the man's advice. Install CM10. It speeds up your device, gives you options, frees your Android. My friend knows the feeling of switching from iPhone to Nexus 4 and he's like he's enlightened or something, well once again, the feeling is the same if you switch from stock Android to CM or Paranoid. I suggest you install CM because Paranoid made me a lot of problems when installing even though I did everything right, and people claim that CM is more stable...

Bricked Xperia Z3v with locked bootloader, can't enter recovery or flash mode

Hi guys. So I have been going through xda and Google for hours and hours trying solutions, to no avail. I almost never post on forums for help because I can usually find the solution. Not this time. This is my last resort next to throwing my phone out a window or praying for death's sweet release.
The facts: I have a rooted Xperia Z3v. I tried to upgrade TWRP in order to follow some directions on upgrading to Nougat. I flashed TWRP from 2.8.X.X to 3.X.X.X. I rebooted and it never made it to the Sony logo. Now, if I plug the phone in to either a wall socket or PC it vibrates, endlessly at three second intervals, each time with red LED. If I try to enter flash mode, then its the same but with a brief green led after the red. I can enter fastboot (the only way to stop it vibrating while plugged in) and my PC sees it, including Flashtool, but since my bootloader is locked permanently, I can't really do much with it.
When plugged into the wall-charger, I noticed that the charger's LED changes from "Active" to "Inactive" with every vibration. I'm pretty sure I'm in a reboot loop. The screen is totally dead and there's no logo, but every three seconds it kills it self and comes back.
I have tried everything I could think of.
What I have:
I have the stock firmware ready to go
I have TWRP backups on SD card and PC
I have Flashtool
I think my drivers are good, but not 100% sure
I can fastboot
I'm at my wit's end and losing hope.
Please, I'm open to any suggestions at all.
There is a chance to save your phone 50% this trick might work for your phone sort of .
First i need some answers
1.If you go to flash mode the phone vibrates right is it detectable by your pc at that time.
2.did you Try hard reset not by the vol button press but the very sophisticated button under the sim tray.
3.https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/nougat-7-1-1-android-source-project-t3532346
try this I know this is not for your phone but you will be able to actually boot your phone or atleast take a rest for what the heck is going on with your phone
4.If none of the solutions work disscuss with me i am happy to help
Same thing here. Flashed wrong ROM via TWRP.
As a result, immediate loop (repetitive vibration, led blinking red) when connected via USB. No recovery access. Only fastboot access (blue led).
Locked bootloader.
Flashtool:
- tried flashing kernel.sin extracted from a stock ftf - no good (locked bootloader, unlocking requires flashboot which is not accessible).
- tried flashing system.sin extracted from a stock ftf - no good, flashtool says
INFO - Flashing selected system
and immediately after that
INFO - Please check the log before rebooting into system
So it clearly doesn't do anything. Any other approaches to try?

Help me fix a bricked OPO :(

Phone memory was almost totally full and my sister was still shooting videos on it.
During one shoot the phone turned off and I can't turn it back on again.
Here is my problem, the phone just doesn't boot.
Shows only first screen with 1+ logo and then reboots. Not even the system boot animation.
When I try to enter recovery mode it shows TWRP screen and then reboots again. So I can't even access recovery.
And when I try to enter Fastboot Mode it turns on but the PC won't see it in adb.
What are my options here?

hi you need to follow this guide :https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-unbrick-oneplus-one-t3013732
Hi.
Firstly, you have recovery installed, so that is good.
Some things for you to try:
Can you hold down the power button for longer than 10 seconds. This will clear temporary memory and hard reboot.Press power button & volume 'down' button until you enter TWRP.
Try this firstly.
Can you access ADB at all?
15 second ADB drivers should work.
What Operating system is on your Computer?
TWRP should pop up & be accessible
If you have Windows 10 on. If it doesn't recognize your phone you will have to run an update for Media Center for Windows 10 (64 bit...I'm assuming its not 32bit).
TWRP should be read by your computer if you can access it as it contains the drivers inbuilt.
If it still is inaccessible you might have to flash TWRP again through fastboot mode using ADB.

Yes, I have TWRP installed, but cant access it. Shows the TWRP splash screen and then reboots after like 10 seconds or so.
ADB does not see device. Only shows the device during that 10 second TWRP splash screen time, but even then no commands are effective and it just reboots.
Already tried holding down power button for few seconds. No luck.
I already installed all the possible drivers and media feature packs on my Windows 10. Still no luck.
And yes, I am running latest Windows 10 Pro x64.
And no, since I cant access Fastboot, I can not re-flash TWRP either.

Gonna try that right now. Hopefully that will fix it.
Daaaamn I really frankensteined the sh*t out of this one
I tried that Color OS unbrick method but it did not work. I mean the process itself worked, but the phone would not boot past the logo.
So I grabbed the system.img from old CM13 image, grabbed 2016 modem.img, then placed twrp.img instead of CM recovery and pressed START.
AAAAAND IT WORKED!!! The phone is alive!!!
Now I am in TWRP and I'm going to flash a new ROM. Hopefully everything will go perfectly.
Thanks a lot for your help @kallum7
EDIT: Flashed new ROM. Everything went just fine.

Bricked device : Black screen and white notification LED

Hi,
SITUATION : I just had a big problem with my OP6. First of all, I was on Oreo stock Rom and I decided to upgrade to Pie by flashing .zip via TWRP. Everything goes well, but after some days of use and for some reasons I wanted to roll-back to Oreo and I flashed the downgrade .zip but this time via Local upgrade. Again, everything goes well but when trying to flash TWRP via Fastboot, I used "fastboot boot TWRP.img" and phone booted into it. Then, BEFORE flashing the TWRP.zip file I accidentally changed the slot (b to a) and rebooted to system.
PROBLEM : Now, the device is stucked on a black screen with withe notification LED on, and whatever the situation. Bootloader isn't accessible anymore. None of the buttons combination work properly. I don't know what to do. I looked for MSM software but do I need to access Bootloader to use it ? It's possible to power off the device (white LED turn off), but nothing more.
Thanks for any future advices
power off ur device !!!
open msm software and connect ur phone through usb and press up volume + power button and u will see it getting connected to the msm software and leave it till ur phone starts booting ito OOS 5.1.5

I hope u fixed it by now, but if you still haven't fixed it yet, you can go back to slot b by using this commands "fastboot --set-active=B" without the quotes
Because I messed up my slot a, so i used that command to boot using slot b and it worked. So, if the problem is with your slot a and everything with your slot b is fine, then you just need to change to slot b with that command and all should go well :highfive:
just noticed that you're having a problem accessing the bootloader. First, make sure your device is not connected to your pc or anything. Then, whether your device is off or stuck in that black screen, just hold vol up and power off at the same time and wait until it eventually boots into the bootloader mode.
Problem solved with MSM software. Thanks everyone. If someone has the same issue. Just download MSM software and use the following guide :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/oneplus-5t-unbricking-tool-confirmation-t3733012
It is actually quite impossible to totally hardbrick a device like this one.
Cheers
Glad to hear that.
Just in case i got into that problem, could you lead me to the files you downloaded since the ones in that link seem to be for OnePlus 5
In my situation, I have a black screen, and a fixed blue LED.
I want to put the LineageOS ROM, but it's impossible, even though it performs the installation of the ROM correctly, when you restart it that happens, and then it doesn't even let you install or start the TWRP again.
It only remains to use MSMDownloadTool, to return to the Stock rom.
