I have never tested this. But with DLOAD it should be possible as these images are all original Huawei-Signed.
But you could maybe brick your phone. I would try it but do not have the right Images.
I own a Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G (LIO-AN00) and would like to flash the firmware from the LIO-N29 but do not have the firmware.

If you're creating a thread (even if i created one earlier this year) PLEASE also post the method of flashing and risks they're assuming, because not all users know how to flash a dload firmware or what it involves AND let them know that FLASHING a different CUST RATHER THEN his device has WILL GET DEVICES SOFTBRICKED!!!!

Great then, m8. You continue uploading dload firmwares links here for all custs and I will update mine if needed ONLY for LIO-L29 C432 4G version .

Hello, are you using Full Ota's and cust+preload firmwares from Firmware Finder? Because that is what i understand from your OP where you split your custs. That you will give as dload and rest are split ones....

Sorry I am new to this what are these the files and is it like Russian roulette to mix and match. Just curious if the dload folder has all the why other links?

Hy there,
No it doesn't, because is not a custom rom. It needs only dload firmware (or service rom) with all 3 zips inside (cust+preload+base firmware) if provided. Be aware to flash only dload firmware and not other one (ex. OTA from Firmware Finder), you might get softbricked.
The OP should specify all info's on how to and which is what so users have all details and know from start what they have to do and what files are going to use

Honor 8 L29 firmware on AL10
Hi, i have a Honor 8 FRD-AL10 since its a China version it does not have 4G LTE band 20. While the global version FRD-L19 has band 20. Will replacing the China firmware with the global one unlock the other bands supported by this phone but not available on the China version?

It would be great that everyone shares new discovered stuff about the GMS for the Global version of the Huawei P50 Pro (JAD-LX9) so that we have all that in one thread. All Huawei lovers know that the P50 Pro is an great phone with an outstandig Camera, Design and Hardware, but the lack of GMS support makes it Hard for everyday usage. Known Solutions to run Google Apps 1. Use Google Apps with an VM - GSPACE (link to the Tutorial) - Tested and Working PROS - Some apps works great - Easy to setup CONS - Some Apps are not working (for example : Crypto.com App) - It takes time to load the app - Problems with notifications (there is an online solution for this on Youtube) 2. Flash the HarmonyOS 2.0 Firmware for the Chinese Market I found two Website online that offers the official HarmonyOS 2.0 Firmware, this website are selling the Firmware.I havent testet it yet. But there a solution for the Chinese version with the HarmonyOS to install an Native Support for GMS. So if we succeed to install the HarmonyOS Firmware i think that the GMS problem is then solved. On my P50 Pro (JAD-LX9, EMUI 12.0.1), I use the Aurora Store app with a Google account. Works great. But I haven’t used Google services for 2 years and I’m quite happy with it.

But there a solution for the Chinese version with the HarmonyOS to install an Native Support for GMS. So if we succeed to install the HarmonyOS Firmware i think that the GMS problem is then solved. Click to collapse I am P50 Pro (JAD-LX9) user, and in my experience using it, you may need to recharge it at least once a day, and 2 to 3 times a day in intensive usage. Every charge from 5% to full charge will take around 30-40 minutes with supplied charger.
Mine was hot during charges like from 55°C to 60°C. Charges are super fast but really hot. During usage it can get hot, but not like during charges. Battery lasted much less than on P30 Pro. You can get through the day but bearly.
Huawei P40 Pro (ELS-NX9 10.1.0.121) Rebrand EU to China Firmware (C432 to C00)
Hi guys Curently my Huawei P40 Pro has EU firmware (ELS-NX9 10.1.0.121 C432) What's the steps to Rebrand it to China Version again please. Can this firmware version (ELS-AN00 10.1.0.131 C00) be flashed directly over previous EU version, or is easy as this. I have access to OTA and full C00 firmware for P40 Pro, so firmware will not be a problem. Any thoughts? Has anyone done it already?
