HUAWEI P50 PRO GLOBAL VERSION (JAD-LX9) / GMS SUPPORT
Hello everyone, i want to start a thread with all know information that i collected. It would be great that everyone shares new discovered stuff about the GMS for the Global version of the Huawei P50 Pro (JAD-LX9) so that we have all that in one thread.
All Huawei lovers know that the P50 Pro is an great phone with an outstandig Camera, Design and Hardware, but the lack of GMS support makes it Hard for everyday usage.
Known Solutions to run Google Apps
1. Use Google Apps with an VM - GSPACE (link to the Tutorial) - Tested and Working
PROS
- Some apps works great
- Easy to setup
CONS
- Some Apps are not working (for example : Crypto.com App)
- It takes time to load the app
- Problems with notifications (there is an online solution for this on Youtube)
2. Flash the HarmonyOS 2.0 Firmware for the Chinese Market
I found two Website online that offers the official HarmonyOS 2.0 Firmware, this website are selling the Firmware.I havent testet it yet. But there a solution for the Chinese version with the HarmonyOS to install an Native Support for GMS. So if we succeed to install the HarmonyOS Firmware i think that the GMS problem is then solved. I think that the Firmware is for the Snapdragon 888 version of the phone because i found that the Kirin 9000 version has an another Model Name (JAD-AL50) - but this info is not confirmed.
2.1 Website that offers the Firmware

On my P50 Pro (JAD-LX9, EMUI 12.0.1), I use the Aurora Store app with a Google account. Works great. But I haven’t used Google services for 2 years and I’m quite happy with it.

Yes, it is very interesting how to install Harmony OS on the global version of P50 Pro (JAD-LX9, EMUI 12.0.1) and did anyone do it themselves using the firmware files from this site: https://support.halabtech.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=file&id=587189 ?

open the my Huawei app then change region to Hongkong . The update of harmony 2.0 is on the main page.

I paid for the firmware for the global P50 Pro but the installation failed. Has anyone managed to install it? I follow these steps but installation failed.

I am P50 Pro (JAD-LX9) user, and in my experience using it, you may need to recharge it at least once a day, and 2 to 3 times a day in intensive usage. Every charge from 5% to full charge will take around 30-40 minutes with supplied charger.
Mine was hot during charges like from 55°C to 60°C. Charges are super fast but really hot. During usage it can get hot, but not like during charges. Battery lasted much less than on P30 Pro. You can get through the day but bearly.

Can I change the country and vendor and install a normal Europe firmware C432?
Or is there a C652-Firmware without demo content? Or i change to C900?

Don't even know what demo mode is, but you can simply disable it in Developer Options.
In Developer Options the demo mode is disabled.
The Demo is in the Firmware and start after few seconds with video.
i have the same problem with my p40 pro (c652), the problem with the demo is that you cann't update your phone. for exemple p40 pro is now on emui 12 but my phone still on 10, i don't know if i can download a firmeware (c432), it will be work for my phone ?
I had a p40 pro ELS-N29 10.1.0.104D(C652E5R3P1) then I found MOS -> https://youtube.com/c/Ministryofsolutionsofficial He rebranded my p40 pro remotely to 10.1.0.114(C432E8R5P2) with Sigma for 40$.
I installed GMS and upgraded to emui 10 then 11 and ultimately to emui 12, all trough OTA updates.

What's the steps to Rebrand it to China Version again please.
Can this firmware version (ELS-AN00 10.1.0.131 C00) be flashed directly over previous EU version, or is easy as this.
I have access to OTA and full C00 firmware for P40 Pro, so firmware will not be a problem.
Any thoughts? Has anyone done it already?

i have downgrade my P40 Pro with EMUI 12 with the version visible in the image EMUI12, after the downgrade the version is as in the EMUI10. The problem is that the USB not more work on the P40 Pro, the smartphone no more detect is attached to a PC. What i have do wrong?

Seems a problem if it will be done a downgrade from an EMUI 12 to 10 ... correct?
