bit hard to help you if you dont provide much information ...
did you install amazon photos after you installed microG?
did you copy the above steps .. or do a youtube vanced microG installation?
have you installed microG core, microG framework, microG fakestore? are you connected to GCM in the microG app?

I installed amazon photos day one and it did not work. I then installed microg purely to get youtube vanced working and this did not change amazon photos at all. I only did the Youtube vanced instructions so only microG not the others.

ok .. then ...
1. uninstall amazon photos
2. install microG as per other thread (the x3 components) and dial the *#*#etc number if needed to connect
3. install amazon photos
amazon photos is stable and does not crash (with prime for slideshow etc).

Last week I owned a pixel XL and I got pip to work with Google maps...
But my new pixel2 does not pip.?. I just get Google assistant asking me "how can i help?"
I tried using maps, Netflix, YouTube ,Google movies (even tried chrome streaming YouTube, because I live in the UK) all failed!?
Each app settings say pip is enabled
I've also enabled settings->Apps & notification -> special app access
What am I missing?
Any idea why?
I am not sure why this would happen exactly, but I wanted to let you know that picture-in-picture works correctly for Google Maps on my Pixel 2 - I am running Android 8.1 Developer Preview 1. What OS version are you running on your phone?
Its not working for me as well i even tryed uninstalling youtube and clearing cache
My version is the normal oreo 8.0 ! Has anyone got chrome or google-movies to work?

Why Does MicroG APK Important For OGYouTube ?

OGYouTube is probably the best YouTube download client you can find on Android, even if there are others that are also very good. It is unique YouTube client that lets you download any video from YouTube directly to the memory of your Android device. OGYouTube allows you to do that you can with the official YouTube client, like playing videos in the background. That said, it is important that you*don't log in with your account on OGYouTube. If you do, you won't be able to download videos anymore. For this reason, it's very important not to log in.

Version 14.21.54
Mine is working too... Did you disable chrome by any chance? Make sure it's enabled because it's webview is used to sign in with micro g from what I've gathered
I'm using version 14.21.54, but there is something strange when i set the display refresh to 90hz, if the video i'm watching is 60fps it will occasionally dropped to 30fps multiple times, so annoying. But when i set the display refresh to 60hz, it will become normal, no dropping fps whatsoever lmao. This is NOT happening in official Youtube app from Google Play, but the ads damn

Apps Apps Apps

So I'm happily using my P40 Pro (camera) is incredible but am wondering if I'm able to get Google play store on there to download apps like YouTube and Google photos. I used these on my last device fine which was a P30 Pro. Im not very technically minded.

Any way to bypass the forced YouTube update message?

Hey all
My mom has an old Samsung phone (I think it's a Samsung S4). She mostly just use WhatsApp and Youtube on it. Unfortunately, when we open the YouTube app now, it shows a message saying that the app must be updated to use, but we can't even update it because the android version is old and not supported anymore. I tried some things like clearing cache, tried installing an old Youtube APK, but none worked.
Is there any way to bypass this forced update?
Just install YouTube vanced. You'll have the bonus of no ads.

Thank you very much! I installed an old version of Vanced (since the newest version won't work on old phones) and it's working perfectly.
