Korean model is receiving stable Android 10 now! Along with the v50s

KDZ thanks to mylgphones.com:
Software Version:G710NO30D_00

I wonder how long until ULM sees 10? Or if cross-flashing this is advised for US users?

I did crossflash it to EMW (Indian Variant), however same NT code error persists hence can't connect to phone network just like the beta test variant. Flashing back the original firmware.

Confirmed, I just updated it. You may have to manually search for update though (usually phone post the notification about updates).

The TM version have received android 10 too, but no kdz yet, only OTA. My phone was a AWM. Cross flashed the latest 20H kdz, and got an OTA to android 10 30A. Everything works great. But tmobile firmware have some weird issues with brightness control, it's not a bug, just how it was for every tmobile firmware.

The LG Updater app shows V11F for Videophone and V11H for WindMobile up there. Probably set up for the respective carriers up there - don't know if they use the same bands.
Plugged phone it into my computer with the LG updater set to Canada. It checked the software, and indicated that I have the latest (v10f), so no update available. Wanted to see if it would offer to download 11F ( I would not have done it though).
Yeah you might be right.
Could be specific to their carriers. I was wondering if it was possible to change the carriers specific changes to match the united states firmware but still be able to have the updated firmware if any thing really changed.

The website mentioned (according to their "sources") that all regional variations of the H990DS should see the OTA over the next week. FWIW.

Thanks friend, looks like this firmware is not for me, the version shows a "AME", so my device's region is from United Arab Emirates, I need to wait a little more, anyway thanks again.

I tried this version on my Australian/New Zealand variant of H990ds and it soft bricked, wouldn't go past the "lifes good" boot screen, did reset etc. Rolling back to 7.0.

You were able to roll back?
Does that mean its ARB=0?
Maybe is my kdz file is not complete? Mine software is SEA version. You can try update via LG Bridge by entering download mode.

It is possible. I also installed the V20A SEA and my H990DS ARE does not start. I downloaded the V20a TW and noticed that the file is 2.85 GB and the V20a SEA is 2.8 GB
I went back to 7.0 with LG Bridge and tonight I will try the V20a TW.
Just got it installed iam also in australia with a taiwan variant...lots to go through one thing i dont like is you cannot seem to hide the home buttons on thw home screen.
Thwy dissapering on apps booting up but not on home screen.
Ive installed on the indian variant....Ram management is pathetic...in idle its 75% used...and using cleaning apps is not letting it to clear the ram.
I would roll back to 7.0 and use it....Except for the UI, i dont find any much difference in the device performance.....
I would wait for indian update...cus JIO VOLTE stopped working in this rom
Can I flash any of these KDZs on my AME variant?
Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
I am from IDN (Indonesian), and I am able to using the SG (Singapore) version without any hassle
Ok, I downloaded the TWN variant...and it works! Haven't done much other than boot and look at the software version, but it is there!
Does anyone know yet what will happen if the ota update is applied on a rooted device?
Like will just root be gone or also TWRP

YES!!! it will work.....
but then VOLTE will not work i think. and how to install singapore oreo
Thanks a lot, work on mine, with this : H86030b_00_OPEN_ESA_DS_OP_0307.kdz
My H860 was HK modlème first, but when i puted Android N, mooved on indian FW
I tried to register an account in LG-firmwares to confirm if using an indian Oreo update (the 0307 kdz file) will work on my nougat H86020i. Unfortunately, the activation link for the account I have not yet received in my email so I could not post my question there.
Its a Philippine version and in the same list, it only has up to nougat there... One poster did say you can use an Oreo update if the 3 letters after the word OPEN in the file for your region is the same as the file you wanted to download but I wanted to point out was the one for the indian Oreo is H86030b instead of what he posted as H86020b... might have been a typo error but there is no such thing as a H86020b_00_OPEN_ESA_DS_0P_0307.kdz file but there is that H86030b_00_OPEN_ESA_DS_0P_0307.kdz file for the indian Oreo update and I believe that this is the correct file he is referring to.
You guys think H86020i_00_OPEN_ESA_DS_OP_0822.kdz update to H86030b_00_OPEN_ESA_DS_0P_0307.kdz will work on my H86020i?

If you are still unaware, yes you can use another firmware for your H860. Sucks that the Philippine H860 does not have the Oreo Update. I used the SEA Firmware instead and it works fine. Just ignore the NTCODE warnings every reboot of your phone.

OTA updates outside of intended region?

Hello good people of the XDA forums,
I live in Canada and recently ordered a Galaxy A51 off of Amazon, only to find out it is apparently the Latin American version of the SM-A515F variant. Using my Canadian sim card, will I be able to get get OTA updates on this phone from Samsung or not? If it comes to it at the end of the day, I suppose I could live with manually updating with Odin (how that works I have yet to find out), but I'd definitely not prefer it. As of this moment I'm still stuck with the December 1st security patch and version A515FXXU1ASL1. I got this phone just this Friday and didn't even receive an update as I was setting it up, which certainly worried me.
Also, and on a related note, because this is the Latin American version, NFC is disabled. Is that something that could be changed as well/be fixed in the future?
Thank you so much for your help y'all

I am also canadian who purchased international version on purpose(easy to root international)as soon as i put in my sim i recieved an OTA notice.
Mine happens to be panama latin america. I recieved u2ata8 update. Whatever you do,DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING BUT INTERNATIONAL FIRMWARE VIA ODIN. IF YOU FLASH CANADA FIRMWARE ON INTERNATIONAL VARIATIONS THEN YOU WILL HARD BRICK. Also you will get odin fail if you have U2 in your firmware. Cannot roll back to U1

If I'm not getting prompted for similar updates does that mean I'm probably not going to be getting OTA updates? I believe my phone is the Panama version as well.

I definitely haven't gotten any updates. Is there any reasonable reason why I'm not getting updates but you are? I'm with Public Mobile, if that makes a difference. Would it have something to do with my sim card? The country code on my phone is TPA, which from what I've seen is the Latin America/Panama model.

Do you have a link that explains what you're saying in detail? I'm trying to learn the details of this. I have a Latin American phone (DS) that I'd like to root.

5G not available after crossflash v500n to v500em

5G setting not available after crossflash v500n to v500em, I crossflashed korean version to european via TWRP, everything is working perfect except 5G, 5G is missing in settings, maybe need flash modem partition from korean android 10 KDZ via QFIL ? I tried enable 5G bands via service menu but cannot save changes, got error save failed.
P.S. after crossflashing to android 11 5G available in settings.

Hey there! Please can you let me know the procedure of how to do the cross flashing thing... I am new to the LG flashing scene. ( used to have a MI K20 device in the past ). Sold it and got the LG V500N, but I don't like the look of the Korean apps on my phone which is literally of no use to me, and I really want to go to the ( global - otherwise European version so badly ). It would be really great if you could guide me on how to do the tasks. Thanks in advance!!

Hello, if you still need I can help you. Send me a message and we'll talk. I did this procedure already 3 times in my V50N, I went from the Korea KT version to the Korea Global, losing 5g and Simcard option and battery loss.
Today I will try to return to Pie to have greater autonomy. With A11 it is giving me almost 5 hours of screen, little for its 4,000 mAh.
My English is terrible, use google translate, I'm Chilean.
