Hello,
I have a problem with my OP6.
I was on 10.3.3 and I had issue with flickering screen when unlock, so I decide to downgrade to Android 9. It was fine, but I start download 9.0.9 and then, when my phone locked and I tried to unlock it, screen again was flickering and stays black, so I reboot my phone by holding power button and then it starts flickering and now even doesn't show any logo etc.
I tried msmdownloadtool method but it doesn't help - I have only black screen, which is flickering, but with volume+ and power button i get to fastboot and installation was ok, but still the same.
I dont have root or unlock bootloader.
Please help.
I can't add link to video how it looks but I can send it to DM or something.
Try MSm tool in edl mode (vol- / vol+ /power).
I don't know why, but my OP6 works only at oxygenOS 9.0x. When I upload 9.0.8 via MSM TOOL - it helps and it is working now.
Next question is why my phone don't work on other versions of oxygenOS, I can't even upgrade to android 10, because I have "black screen after unlock" issue.

Hi guys!
My OnePlus 6 phone went dead yesterday. I was using it normally and then it turned itself off and didn't come back anymore.
When I turn it on, it vibrates and the OnePlus logo appears for less than a second (just a flash) and then it goes off again. If I keep volume buttons pressed while powering on, the same thing happpens but with Fastboot logo. I can't get to fastboot mode. I can only get the phone detected in the Qualcomm mode (up key + power while USB connected) and I've already tried flashing the stock ROM with MSMDownloadTool (using the guide in this forum) and, although the process goes the way it should without any error, after completed the phone reboots and the problem remains the same.
I've tried a lot of things to revive it, since power cycles (as requested by OnePlus online support) 'til hardbrick procedures as I described above.
Is there anything else that I can do to fix my phone!?
Thanks!

when the debrick tool fails, you have a hardware failure. RMA is your friend.
:crying:
Here's a video showing the problem: https://streamable.com/q47bt

Have you tried the MSMDownloadTool that installs the Hydrogen ROM? See if that one will work for you. I won't hurt

Yes! I've tried MSMDownloadTool with both OOS and HOS! No luck at all!

Hardware failure.
Hi there. The phone is Honor 8 Pro. No one can help in the phone specific threads, so my hope is there is someone smarter here
So long story short I tried to relock the bootloader with twrp installed. The result is the phone is in constant bootloop mode. I can't go to bootloader nor to recovery mode. The phone boots, passes the bluish honor logo and gets stuck on some EMUI logo on a black screen. Fastboot mode is not acccesible, the PC can't detect the phone at all. No combination of buttons pressed works. I also tried the dload method to no avail.
I also waited for the battery to fully drain and tried to hold the volume up button while inserting the USB cable. It doesn't work.
Anybody been in this situation before? Any solution or any ideas, guys?
Hi did you already found a solution for this? I'm experiencing the same problem...
**Edit** I managed to fix it. I'm an idiot. My case was preventing me from pressing/holding the buttons well. In a list ditch effort while setting up my OG Pixel XL i took the case off my oneplus 7 and the button combinations worked.
Can't get into recovery mode or bootloader mode. I believe I bricked it while trying to get newest OTA installed. OTA was failing so I was trying to return my phone to completely stock. Everything was fine until I hit complete uninstall on magisk and it rebooted my phone. I'm using magisk 19.2, newest stable release.
The only thing I see now is the one plus power on logo, then message about bootloader being unlocked. Pressing volume up+power button will get the phone to power on but never loads to bootloader mode, only a black screen after the warning screen about having an unlocked bootloader shows.. Volume down+power and volume up/down+power do nothing.
Any advice on this would be appreciated before I send it in for an RMA
Hi all! I have a plan but I'm not sure it's gonna work out.
TL;DR I have a broken power button and I want to unlock my bootloader but I can't do so because I need the button to confirm the change.
So recently two things happened: I updated to the Android 10 beta and I replaced my back glass as the previous one was cracked. The problems are that because of the lack of TWRP and general kernels/ROMs lack of support I want to roll back to OOS 9.0.9. I tried the fastboot method of flashing 9.0.9 which worked well except I still couldn't flash TWRP (getting the same error as with Android 10 Beta). Because of that I want to use msmdownloadtool after which I'll update to 9.0.9 via local OTA.
I know that will lock my bootloader back up and I'll need to unlock it again. Thing is, to do so, I need to confirm that I want to do it using the power button at some point in the process. Is there any other method like a fastboot command or anything in order to confirm that doesn't require me to press the power button which is broken? Or is my only hope staying as I am and hoping I'll never boot loop the device?
No way. Have your power button fixed first.
Hi guys!
I own a Xiaomi redmi 6a (cactus).
I flashed the wrong TWRP recovery via fastboot. After I rebooted the phone, it showed the brand logo (miui) and then there was some error screen about encryption lost or something with only one button 'reset'. I clicked on this button and from that moment the phone was stuck if I remember correctly. So I tried to reboot the phone. But from that moment my screen was completely dark. It also kept rebooting itself. It doesn't start up anymore.
I tried in several ways to get into fastboot or the recovery mode, but I didn't succeeded. So I removed the battery, reconnected the cable of the battery. Pushed the power button + volume down. I feel a short vibration that indicates that the power buttons has been pressed. But I don't see anything on my screen. Not even the white MIUI logo. It also keeps rebooting. So it must be stuck I guess. The phone is not recognised when connecting it with a laptop.
The only thing that "works" is the vibration at the beginning of each reboot and the led notification that shows some light.
I tried to find the test points on the motherboard, but as far as I know that didn't work. I also read about an EDL, but sadly this is only for Qualcomm devices.
Is there still a way to fix my phone? If I could find a way to get in the fastboot mode so that I can flash the right recovery & rom....
Thanks for reading

You should try SPflash tool for Midiatek Helio chipset.
Yuhuu!
Try this up guys:
