Hey, so you may have noticed that the touch screen on the G925P does not work with a lot of the ROMs, and I'm looking for more information on this for why it doesn't work; so if you have any please fill me in!

I received my new at&t Galaxy Edge a couple of days ago and I've been looking for a downloadable copy of the Edge's stock ROM.
I've been a bit underwhelmed by the Edges limited customizability when compared to the One Plus One that I've owned for the
past 4 months. I'd like to have a zipped copy of the stock ROM stored in the Edge's internal memory before I start trying out various
custom ROMs and custom recoveries. I have the following questions:
1) Where online can I find a downloadable copy of the Edge's stock ROM (at&t)? There are a number of sites where I can download the
stock ROM for my One Plus One, I've spent hours looking for the stock ROM for the Edge - and no joy.
2) I've read a lot of posts here on the Q&A Forum about the Galaxy Note 4, but I've seen very little about the Edge, granted it's only been
available for a few days. Is there a difference between the Note 4 and the Edges ROM (the Edge's side screen may require a slightly different ROM).
3) All of the limited posts that I've read here about the Edge were for the T-Mobile variant of the phone, is there a difference between the T-Mobile ROM and
the at&t ROM?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Due to the similarities with the Note 4, I assume the AT&T version has a locked bootloader and won't be able to be rooted, etc. OPO is in a completely different league in comparison.

At this point, using anything but Samsung's stock on the Note Edge entirely defeats the purpose of having a Note Edge it appears. No one is supporting that 2560x160 strip. Also, it just came out 1 week ago. Give it some time. The stock firmware files should be coming out soon.
What is the current build and firmware you have on your device?
I have a screenshot or two of mine and I too am curious about the security and further customization of my device.
If you have the at&t variant then it will have a locked bootloader with un-removeable bloatware....basically to answer your question there wont be any customization unless someone takes the time to try to crack at&ts locked bootloader. This is why I hate at&t.
I was wondering if there are any developers who could assist me in a porting Lollipop to the Tmobile note edge. Tmobile is taking far to long and since there are other variants that already have it with almost identical hardware, it wouldn't be to difficult. I would even be glad to donate a little for your assistance. Anyway if anyone other people support this, please chime in. Please hit me up devs! Thanks!
I agree
PLEASE DEVS. ...there is like 3 custom roms for the tmobile note edge. ..and no lollipop update. .tmobile is taking very long to release it to the edge. ..I love my edge but considered switching to note 4 just bcuz there is very little development for the tmobile note edge. ..will pay if I have to. ..

100% behind this! Got my Edge last week and I'm absolutely loving it . But coming from an M7 that had a million Roms and firmware updates it's sad to see so little being done for this awesome phone .
and the official lollipop is here. for tmo...
Better late than never, but I was happy to see 5.01 on SAMMOBILE this morning. Installing as we speak. But I am going to miss hypderdrive rom until he updates his rom with Lollipop.
I wanted to get the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge as it has the best camera, and the best display and the best processor and an amazing form factor that appealed to me, but I noticed no Cyanogenmod 12 roms are available for the Note edge, but there is cm12 roms for the Note 4. Does this mean the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge will not have custom rom support as well? The g4 is coming out today, and though it will most probably beat the s6 in camera performance, the other features would give the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge an edge over the G4. Please help me decide whether to buy the s6 edge( which I will definitely go for if custom roms are developed for it) or the G4(which is comparable to the s6, but doesnt appeal to me as the s6 edge). Any information is welcome.

Well generally it takes a while for ROMs to come out for a device and since the S6 edge is a newer phone there won't be any ROMs available for it. Now there most likely will be ROMs for it in the future but you never no for certain. So I would get the S6 edge if you think it would be better for you. Though the G4 would probley be a good choice as well though there isn't much info on it as of yet.

I didn't expect to find ROMs for the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge yet as it is a very new device. However, I was a bit skeptical about whether the edge functionality would prevent or discourage developers to make custom ROMs, so I looked up if they had a cm12 ROM for the Note Edge, which was released around 6 months back. I was disappointed to find none whatsoever available. Now this is making me confused about whether the edge in Samsung Galaxy s6 edge would prevent developers to do the same. I'd have to go for the Galaxy s6 or the g4 if they don't develop Roms for the edge version.

Well if that's the case I would go with the G4 because it would surely be a good phone.

Found this on the S6 side of the forum.
I'm not savvy enough to fully understand it all, does this look like it would work for our edge as well?

It might, but, it is recommended that you NEVER try anything that has been designed for a model other then yours, and, S6 and S6 edge are entirely different phones so you SHOULD NOT use those designed for the S6 on the S6 edge.
Hi folks
Is it possible? Im ready to flash something for it. I dont want the big screen and the (for me) horrible price.
Depending on whether it is possible and according to other things, I'm going to get a normal S7 or S7 Edge.
have you found anyway?
that would be pretty awesome, i agree the s7 is the perfect size screen.
I've found a custom Rom with this and many more Features: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/rom-s7-rom-v1-0-t3356197
im pretty sure there are apps that create an overlay that can add similar features without having to get a custom rom.
instead of flashing full rom, is there any mod to flash for edge features?
