Avoid deactivating the call recorder after reboot - OnePlus 6 Questions & Answers

I completed the activation of the call recorder via jOneplustools/adb
How can I avoid deactivating the call recorder after reboot?

Does anyone know how to prevent the feature from being disabled when the phone is restarted?

It doesn't work.

If it works well until reboot, it can work well permanently. How?

I'm looking for this as well! :>
What's new up to now, please!?
I'm thinking of buying a new OP6 with android 8.1 rather than risking to downgrade one with 10 or 9..! :-? (I have two OP6 and I have to aply the solution I hope I'll discover here to other two.)

If I would have waited 24 hours and only then write down here, I would have been one of the wisest man in the world!.. :>
It actually works permanently. I have the call recording icon ont the call screen, as I wish. And it works just fine.
Thank you!

Severe outgoing call issue

Hi,
Description of the problem : I am not able to hear, and my correspondant won't hear either, until I turn the loudspeaker on. However, when I turn it off again, It magically works. Also, no problem with ingoing calls.
I am able to hear a voicemail without this manipulation.
I tried different CM12 roms, and use the last firmware and google play services.
Anyone facing this issue? Is there a workaround?

Have you tried a NON-CM12 rom ? Does it do that on CM11S ?

I don't really want to put CM11s back on my phone, as I am not using MultiRom and love CM12. All I know is that It didn't happen back in the time when I was using CM11s.
This imply it could be either a CM12 problem or a google play services update problem, right ?

I also have this issue which does not produce each time. I changed the kernel to Franco to see if something solve the problem and for now, I don't have any issue.
Try another kernel, just check if it's compatible with CM12.
Keep this thread updated if you find a permanent solution.
Seems i'ts a knew bug: https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/BACON-729

Not sure if it's the same problem.. Mine started occuring 1 month ago, what's more, nobody mentioned the trick with on/off speakerphone to solve the issue temporarily.
I'm testing different ways of solving this problem, will update this thread when I find a permanent solution !
I have exactly the same issue. I have opened a jira bug here:
https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/plugins/servlet/mobile#issue/NIGHTLIES-526
I found a LG3 user that has the same issue too on the CyanogenMod forum.

CM11s or the latest CM11 nightly don't have this annoying bug.
@thryy So the solution is in order to get all outgoing calls working "Touch Sound" need to be activated. Settings ->Sound and notifications-> Other Sounds

Voted!
Maybe related according the comments http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/87378/
I just tried the new nightly 02.20 in order to make some new tests. It seems in my case that the issue was caused by the gapps I was using. In fact, with a new gapps package I don't have this issue for the moment. ?

Need- Call recording on Honor 6x EMUI 4.1

I have BLN-L21 and tried almost all apps for call recording but for some reason they wont work.
1. After searching I believe that Huawei has blocked call recording in some countries. (I purchased in Pakistan).
> can I flash another region official stock rom to have this feature on my phone as well?
> If yes which one?
> Call recording works on almost all other smart phone brands so why only huawei has blocked it?
2. Is there a guide on how to enable it without rooting and without Boldbeast audio recorder as well?
3. Is there is a native built in recording feature? if so how to enable it?
Its is essential that I have call recording as my work is as such.
Thanks in Advance
1.1 Laws and regulations vary from country to country about call recording.
1.2 In theory you can, but you need to "de-brand" your phone first, I haven't seen any information on a 6x. So far Honor 8 and 7 can do that.
2. For native call recording, yes, in Chinese variant, you can enable it from call settings.
Call recorder works. You may have a problem with the Os killing the service to preserve battery

Hi.. Thx.
>Which call recorder app you are using?
>I used ACR Pro with protected mode- its not killed when screen is off.
Can you please share the settings as well.
What i have observed is that only mic is used for recording and sometimes when the environment is very quite the mic is able to record the opponent voice but with low volume. This is of course totally accidental.

Call Recorder ACR also works fine. Give it a try! Haven't used it but read it on XDA only from a user that it's running perfect!
Here's the link of the app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nll.acr&hl=en
ACR is excellent, my father used it a lot
Go to call record section of honor 6x
Call Recording on honor 6x
Huawei do not provides build in feature for call recording because call recording is illegal in some regions of the world. Still you can get methods to enable call recording on EMUI as discussed in TechinReview . You can access them from the following link;
How to Enable Call Recording on EMUI

Call recording issue on honor 6x

My call recording app does not work used many of them. Old phones same app works fine.... It will seldom record calls when it does its without any reason or setting and then stop for ages.

Do you have EMUI 5 and root? If yes maybe you can try THIS
there are so many aftermarket call recorders out in play store, go on and try them
Did you granted to the app all needed permissions? (Microphone, call hearing, ecc.)

Ok, i'll try later if the app will work for me. Yes i have a 6X too, but at the moment I'm not using any call recording app. On my other phone now died, i was using LineageOS call recorder function directly on phone call, and it was working great except for some problems with loud voices, that was registered as scratchy tunes. I'll let you know later in day
---------- Post added at 12:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:44 AM ----------
Just tried ACR; it works perfectly. I've simply launched it giving the 4 permissions needed (microphone, calls, storage and contacts) and tried a call immediately after. I've stopped after 10 seconds and then i've found a really clean file in M4A format where i could heard everything clear. Since the problem seems to be not fault of the phone and neither by the app, now my question is: did you whitelisted the app from memory freeing services like battery optimization, task killer widgets, ecc. ?

Received the notification for Pie update yesterday morning for Sprint HTC U11. Thus far, it seems to run smoothly. However, I can't find it anywhere in the setting to turn on the mobile hotspot. Anyone is experiencing the same issue?

I downloaded the OTA, but if I'm running Bad Boyz 8.0 rom, do I have to flash a RUU first or can I install this over Bad Boyz? Its systemless root using Magisk.

Problem solved. Please follow the instructions below:
Dial ##72786#. Note: If the dialer does not appear, tap the Dialer icon. Tap YES. The device will restart and initiate Hands Free Activation. After the device restarts it will automatically perform Hands Free Activation. Once the activation is complete, tap OK. The device will then update the PRL. Once the update is complete, tap OK. Tap OK. The device will restart.
After restarting, hotspot and tethering setting selection reappeared.

It has been said many times in the main thread, but here are only a few (I sold it because HTC is not going to fix anything):
Cannot disable the led into do not disturb mode
Digital wellbeing is not into settings menu (you have to use the search)
Adaptative battery is not into settings menu (you have to use the search)
Battery problems (I lost 1,5h SOT)
HTC sense companion is not counting steps (I think there was a new version of the app THREE months later to fix it)
Those are which I can remember and were persistent after factory reset and even after re-flash the RUU.
As I said, I sold it two months ago and I never will buy another device from this manufacturer.
I have a sprint model that i unlocked, since the update i can't use hotspot, i tried ##72786# it just gives me a menu with 4 options that i can't change.

Question Auto Call Recorder? Root?

Hi All. . .
Going to ask the question. I have used previously the s20 and prior to that numerous Samsungs. I had to Root to enable call recording. What i want to know is, is there a auto call recorder that works for the s21+ in the UK? Without Root. I wanted to try and keep my phone unrooted. but the main issue is I want a Auto Call Recorder. I was using Boldbeast without issue. (Rooted.)
The other issue, is, I want to be able to to OTA and want some ifo if the s21 can be rooted with A & B Partition? Is there any info on how to do this and where to get the files from? ETC? Any help appreciated. Regards. . .
