Yesterday im using my phone then suddenly the screen changed its color. The white turns yellowish and the black turns greyish. I've found out that whenever im in my lockscreen the original color is there but everytime i unlock it, it changes color again. I never used my phone at full brightness. And also, i already did some factory reset still nothing changes. What should i do?

I bought an HTC shadow 2009 version off of ebay for $8 and it has a black screen issue. I can tell it boots up because although the screen is black, it flashes on and off as if it were changing boot animations, and then once it is booted the green led flashes like it has a text and the charging light is on, also i can get files off of it from my computer. So it shouldnt be a software issue, is what im thinking.. but i replaced the screen that it came with and it is still black. Does this sound like a software issue to anyone? Also when i try to hard reset the phone it goes through the original boot process it doesnt seem like it will allow me to hard reset it.. anyways all the searches i have done so far have suggested hard reset or replace screen. I have tried both and nothing has worked. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hello,
i got a HTC One (m7) and i've installed the latest update,
now my screen automaticly turns dark (no brightness at all)
first thing i thougt it was a problem with the savemode so i turned that of but it stayed the same.
it doesn't mather if i switch the brightnes between 0% and 100% it stayes dark
so i thought my backlight must be broken but....
when i restart my phone th welcome/popup screen is bright and as soon as it's started up again its back to dark.
when i start whatsup the screenn is dark but if i say i want to send a video the videoscreen starts and the screen lights up fully,
when i then go back into whatsup or home you see the sreen go back to dark gradualy in about 3 seconds.
what the hack can do this and how do i kill this so i can get control again
i hope anyone has an idea for me.
My Nexus has a display problem and i'm trying to troubleshoot what the issue is and I'm wondering if anyone could help as it's not obvious where the issue lies.
What happened is I was using it as normal this morning and then the screen started flickering to different sizes/colours until it finally just went off. It was almost like it is trying to find the correct refresh rate and the colours appeared polarised at one point. After holding power down to reset it, the google logo appeared and then the spinning dots. Once the boot was complete the android logo appeared and then as soon as the main screen was displayed the display cuts off with a white pixelated mist and shuts off. The phone is still running as if I connect via HDMI I can see everything as normal however the phone responds extremely slowly. I can get into recovery however the screen quickly does some strange things, it flips like a mirror and cuts 1/3 of the screen off.
I'm not sure if this is a LCD problem as its a replacement from ebay that I've been using for a few weeks now. I would suspect that before anything else however it's odd the pre boot logos display fine. I've checked and cleaned all connections however it's still doing it. I'm running stock 5.1.1 rooted.
When using Auto Dark Mode and switching from light, to dark, to light again, my Pixel 3 reboots, flashes black on the lock screen and aod, and eventually fails. Then, it tells me Android failed to load and I need to factory reset my phone. I'm on the latest Android 10 on a Verizon Pixel 3 (sadly quite locked down even in recovery mode). Has anyone else had this problem? It's happened to me twice within a week now and it's quite annoying.
Hello everyone there, I've bought a used OnePlus 7 pro a few days ago. But I'm having an issue with it.
Whenever I turn brightness to full, screen starts becoming small and big and small and big. I've tried turning adaptive brightness on and off, removing the screen protector, and rebooting into safe mode but nothing works.
I wanna know if the problem is with software or my phone's screen is damaged?
Here is the video.
Try to reset your device and check , maybe it will work
Have you found a solution? I have the same problem only worse the screen colors are pixeled and brightens and shuts off on its own. I turned off 90hz same problem ,phone is unusable.
I see that "cast to xxx" is enabled...your phone screen could be changing resolution/aspect ratio to match what it is trying to "cast" to...try turning that off...worth a shot.
