Please test it and show me the results! If it works on most phones then I'll look into openGL drivers too
Edit: OpenGL drivers work too

For those looking for OpenGL drivers

Looks promising
But between this and Open GL Drivers... Is there a certain installation order or do both in a single TWRP session?
Waiting for your answer so I can test them and share the results

For benchmarks I used Antutu so I can compare my results to yours.
Performed 2 tests back to back before updating and both went smoothly.
After updating the first test showed no noticeable difference in performance and just like with the old update I started a second test after it immediately, which showed some shocking results and temps too.
I let the phone cool down a while, restarted it and put a nylon bag full of water on top of it to avoid thermal throttling then started a third test.
Temps were slightly lower yet the score remained worse than before updating
I'll keep the new drivers for now and see how they affect daily usability, I also provided labeled screenshots if you're interested.

Interesting results... One last thing, can you use this Magisk module and run this this test? I'm taking about 3D mark Benchmarks

I ran tests before and after the GPU Turbo Boost module (OpenGL & Vulkan were updated on both tests).
Had some slight gains while temps stayed similar. The module definitely gave my phone a small kick.

This is very interesting, thanks for posting @OneWayGamer! I'm busy with work right now, but I'd love to try it out. Have you tried running the Dolphin emulator with these new drivers? I'm curious to see what difference it makes!

This won't "Magically" make your device better in any way, however this fixes a lot of bugs and has "Slight" bit of performance gain when using with GPU Turbo boost! Hope this clarifies everything

Thanks, yeah I know it's more about support and bugfixing. The Dolphin devs are often thrashing Qualcomms drivers, so I thought these fixes might help.
Also, in your first post, the tool/app you link to wouldn't be my first choice. I'd go for OpenGL ES CapsViewer and Vulkan Hardware CapsViewer, written by none other than Sascha Willems

I used a youtube video, to see, if there is a result and yes, viper made the tablet definitely louder!
The option which really works, was in FX version, the "Extra Loud" option.
Set to "Extreme" and "Max Gain" to "10" really works.
But other options also can break this, so have to find out, what is good, and what does what (also in the other xhifi app).
The TF is louder than it was before :good:

I am interested in your discussion. What do you choose for effect strenth and max output?
Where should I put irs files. The instruction says the location is <storage>/ViPER4Android/Kernel/*here*, but I find neither ./sdcard/ViPER4Android nor
/storage/ViPER4Android. Does this mean something wrong?

Tried to install ViperFX a couple times onto the latest EOS4 preview with no luck. The part it gets stuck at is the driver installation step, where you choose the CPU profile and reboot. It asks for the CPU type over and over no matter how many times I choose Cortex A9/15 with NEON. This part is a bit confusing though, because while the TF101's Tegra2 uses Cortex 9, from what I understand, it doesn't support NEON. I'm using the stock EOS4 kernel if that's at all relevant.
I saw someone else mention that it often takes a few tries before the driver install works, though I'm up to around 5 attempts and no luck. Anyone else run into this issue?

'Understanding' Tegra 2 lacks NEON instruction set; I don't know why you would choose it.
Anyway, With VFP is the correct driver choice.

The v4a zip contains a file "CPU Type List(New).txt" which says:
Tegra2, ARM or any CPU with freq equal/less than 800MHz, choose "With VFP"
Appreciate the help. The driver install went through after choosing With VFP.

It was the same as releasing a rom once every two months with only one bug fix or sometimes nothing at all.
At least there was an improvement everyday.

Well programming is not easy, maybe for you. Sometimes you will fix a certain things but at the same you accidentally broke something without knowing. Fixing and breaking is normal unless you are a perfect human that can code flawlessly.
And i dont see any wrong idea about attracting users to your site with ads, it is a site it was meant to be visited. And no one force you to download the file every release.

It is perfectly normal if you do not do it in purpose. By knowing that you will do that and make a bug. And why lying that ROM has some feature... But why to spend words on this matter anymore.:angel::angel:

Possible Mata touch"fix"

Disclaimer:
I do not claim this improves anything. But I also don't think it will make things worse. But it also could be just a placebo effect. All in all, this is just an experimental mod and a try to improve the touch response of the phone. Again - I don't claim it will do magic things. Just try it and report back. But I'm not responsible if you don't notice any positive effects - so don't blame be if it "doesn't work".
This is an experimental mod which tries to improve the touch response. This might or might not work - read the disclaimer.
But what does this actually do? First of all, it adds two lines to the build.prop. I found them somewhere here on xda and I'll give proper credits to the guy(s) who posted this of course.
The other thing what this mod does: it adds touchscreen.idc file into /system/usr/idc/. This file can be found in the android googlesource, for example for the never released Pixel 2 "Muskie" (at least not as Pixel phone) or the Pixel 2XL. So I made seven versions of this mod and always changed some values. A higher version number does not mean that it's better or worse or anything, it's just to distinguish between the different versions.
So, feel free to try this - again, I don't claim this changes anything. It's up to you to try it
So anyone tried it? lol
I installed v7 via magisk, seems to be working great. I have noticed some improvements with my touch screen and jitter scrolling. Thanks!!

I know, that's why I'm saying that as a result of actual testing. Props don't do anything, searched and no blob or part of framework matches with that string. And the idc file didn't change anything in the way the touchscreen registers the touches.
Maybe try a 70Hz mod ??

As you know with every mod it might work and it might not XD but let's do it then!
OK so this is the might be quiet interesting but the Xiaomi Mi 6 has a Snapdragon 835 and it can record in 4K 60!!!
Here is the mod and the libs are in the first zip called "60fps xyz" download it and try checking the libs.

I know the camera sensor ain't the same but this seems impossible since SD 835 has no 4K 60 encode support but I have seen YouTube videos using this mod to get 60fps 4K which I found really really interesting. 0.o
Also do u have any idea what Controls the EIS? I have seen build prop stuff that activates it but where is the real code that controls it? Let's try this 4K 60 first tho =D

What's wrong with the EIS? It's there in the Essential camera app, just on by default with no way of turning it off. Switch to video mode and the image is slightly cropped. And moving around, it does try to keep the footage steady.
Just trying to make it work better?

Also do u have any idea what Controls the EIS? I have seen build prop stuff that activates it but where is the real code that controls it? Let's try this 4K 60 first tho =D

Sorry for bumping but i was really wishing this would come true, but the IMX 258 sensor in this phone literally cant do 4k/60

[APP][6.0+][ROOT]FDE.AI-v23.04.3 - Powerful AIO Android devices optimizer (20.04.2023)

ROOT access is required for this app!
This app automatically modifies wide range of low-level system parameters using ROOT access. By using this app you agree with EULA and any possible risks.
FeraDroid Engine (FDE) - an All-in-One ultimate optimizer for all devices running Android OS. All parameters are individual for EVERY device depending on it's hardware/software characteristics. All parameters are very balanced - you may gain performance without increase of power consumption AND reduce power consumption without losing performance. FDE.AI is totally compatible with very wide range of devices and Android OS versions. Very wide-range settings of OS and Linux kernel are configured, still being cross-platform utility, maximally compatible with all devices. FDE.AI applies configurations depending on hardware and software of device, so that in the end every device is configured individually. All applied changes are systemless (system partition is not touched). Some app features may not be supported on various CPUs/kernels.
Make a backup of your data just in case before installing this app. Don't use any other All-in-One tweakers with FDE.AI or things may get bad!

where is the link for downloading app?

No...it's not open source. He doesn't want to share his methods of 'machine learning' IIRC. I bought n tried v6.0.
I had been using L-Speed's 'Balanced' setting at the time. Tried FDE's performance setting...noticed no improvement. /js
Bump of this thread. Updated docs & info. Pushed v9.2 free version.
I'm using 9.2.4 and I've noticed one bug which might or might not be of pure visual nature. Anyway when I select an app to be preloaded, upon next reboot this app is replaced with the one listed just above it...
Hello I've bought and use the app for some time, overall it's pretty good. However I want to know more in details about some of the AI function/options that's not really explained everywhere in more detail (afaik), some clarification would be great
1. the difference between normal and alternate doze (how they works and stuff)
2. toggle bg apps kill (#killbgapps / #dontkillbgapps), what's this? what's the default config for fresh fde and what will it affect?
Hello.
I'm using Poco F1 , with Official corvus os and greenify and no other mods and stock kernel. I installed the free version and now my charging speed is way to slow after the installation.
While charging I switched of the phone, only to see the phone automatically trying to boot and then showing the charging logo, after seeing it, I disconnected the charger and booted into system.
Please help op if you could fix the charging issue, I would really love to buy it.

Will check that. Actually preload is dropped after reboot, so it should be enabled manually after every reboot. Thanks.

1. In first case used direct force deep doze mode. On some heavy modified systems like MIUI this causes various issues, so i came out with another method - dumpsys deviceidle step x3 times - this avoids direct force doze but makes it skip idle wait, motion sensor check steps & go directly to light doze - this way it doesn't conflict with nothing, but may not work as well as expected. Simply - use alternatedoze only if you have troubles with normal doze.
2. #killbgapps executes only once you type it - it doesn't do it automatically. Issued 'am kill-all' commad which is nearly same as you'd clear all your recents, while cached data is still in ram.

Hi, maybe try to change kernel - in last FDE versions I removed anything that can be related to charging. If you will buy pro version, you can get refund if things 'll go wrong & you want to uninstall it. Thanks.
Seems working
I think i see some differences
Android 10 keeps applying restrictions for the app not use battery in background, after every reboot of the system, should I worry about that? Also, can I leave fde in that "optimized" list in settings/battery management?
Fde is amazing , thanks!
Has the paid version been removed from play store?
I can only find the lite version.

Looks that way, followed a link from google search and linked to "page not found". I uninstalled it due to a bug that made bluetooth skip alot. Sucks cause it was great when it worked. Wish I would of backed it up.

How To Guide FIX for 90% of the Stutters and Scrolling Lag

I have had this phone since April and it has been a stuttering mess for me with a lot of popular apps, especially social media apps like Twitter. So, I was glad when I stumbled on a solution; Samsung apps that are region locked, for example both of these are not available in Australia:
Try to find these apps in the Galaxy Store first, as they might be available in your region:
First, download and install the latest Samsung Good Guardians app, if you downloaded this through the Galaxy Store, you can download all other apps suggested below from within the Good Guardians app, otherwise grab the latest APK's from below:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/galaxy-labs/
Then:
2. Download and install the latest Samsung Galaxy App Booster
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/app-booster/
Run Good Guardians, and through that app, you run the Galaxy App Booster.
Using Galaxy App Booster, click on OPTIMIZE NOW and wait for it to complete the process.
Run this "Optimize Now" feature once a week. Enjoy.
That's it, that fixed most of my stutters when nothing else and no other optimizations done much these last few months.
There still remains a little bit of stutter, but nowhere near as bad as before.
EXTRA Information:
3. I personally use Samsung Thermal Guardian too:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/samsung-thermal-guardian/
Using Thermal Guardian, I increase the Thermal Threshold to maximum (click the + sign a couple of times). This allows the CPU to run at hotter temperatures, however, I also use Additional Settings to "Limit CPU Boosting when Heating", this prevents the CPU from over-heating. What I have found, is that these two combined allow the CPU to run between 70% and 90% power, giving an overall more fluid performance, without over-heating.
4. If you have used the information in #3, then I also set Processing Speed to Maximum, when combined with Limited Boosting, it provides a better overall experience. To activate Maximum Processing Speed, go to device Settings, then "Battery and Device Care", then "Battery", then "More battery settings", then "Processing Speed", then set to "Maximum".

Great tutorial, maybe that's why my phone is so smooth since I bought it.
I would just add the recommendation to run the Galaxy App Booster after each firmware update being it via OTA or flashed directly or at least once every 1 or 2 weeks (though, I didnt find the need for it since I'm on beta). This is also the recommendation from the app itself for those that have it installed.

If, anyone else installs this with success please respond. Don't like the idea of needing three APKs for this to work
THERE WAS A NOTICEABLE FLUENCY THANK YOU
I did all the steps for now, worked without any problems. I will respond again in some days about battery usage / overall performance (I'm on Android 13 Beta 1)

Edited main post to include information about the Galaxy Store.
100% if they are available in your region, better to download them directly through the Galaxy Store.
Didnt know the Thermal Guardian app existed. Looking forward to giving this a try for increased performance.

Same here. I noticed improvement with Twitter.
This is something that Samsung needs to fix because other OEMs have issued patches to fix app lag. Example, Nothing patched the issue with scroll lag on twitter in their recent update and now it's literally buttery smooth. Not sure what they did to fix it, but Samsung should take note.

Samsung isn't responsible for non-Samsung apps.

Has nothing to do with the app if another phone OEM was able to patch it though, does it? It means there's something in the OS causing it to occur. I have no idea what that is, but it seems clear to me they need to do something to fix the lag and stuttering.
After the August patch it seems to be a bit better but not as good as on my Nothing phone after their recent update. Buttery smooth and on a much more 'inferior' SOC.

The only app I get lag and stuttering is Twitter. Even then it is minor.
I thought I would give this a try and it has Made Samsung Internet horrible. It freezes and stops responding constantly now.
Install free version of Galaxy MaxHz app > open it with internet enabled to download latest profiles > Default refresh rates > 60 - 120 Hz.
That trick defeated all lags, microfreezes and stuttering on my S22 (Exynos).
FYI. As I recall correctly, you need to open Galaxy Max Hz app after every reboot to apply settings.
