try this. It worked for me when I had a simular issue.
set spflash tool up to flash correct boot.img. Press start.
Connect phone while holding the volume down button. Keep holding button. The phone is bootlooping, so it may eventually catch in preloader and get flashed.

Thanks, but I'm get the same error, STATUS_BROM_CMD_FAIL (0xC0060005)
same problem with me..haha
folow these steps
the only way you flash your phone is by installing mtk (mediatek) drivers.
if you are using windows 10. Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
download MRT_V3.26
there you have MTK_driver.exe install it. than open folder MTK_CDC_Driver_for_imei right click on Android_Gadget_CDC_driver and install.
download Xiaomi_Flash_20181115.zip
and stable global fastboot rom V10.3.3.0.OCGMIXM
extract it
run mi flash and choose extracted folder, click refresh than flash.
THIS IS 100% TESTED by me.

The workaround doesn't support MT6762, which is the processor in the R6, sadly.

Same problem, I'm trying right now with MiFlash as suggested by Tommy0412. The program detects the device and is in "flashing" from 500s to this moment. I'll let you know if it's working
Edit: Finished with "error: flash timout". I'm trying again, this time with very less hope. By the way my phone is a Redmi 9A (dandelion)
Edit 2: I fixed the problem without flashing (almost) anything. I used the Xiaomi ADB/Fastboot Tool (a simple .jar file) that allowed me to reboot in fastboot mode without doing anything strange. Then I flashed the correct recovery and everything is now back to normal. Thanks to whoever developed that java application. That saved my ass!

Unfortunately, I no longer have access to recovery or fastboot. The phone is stuck in a loop and no longer offers those options. I need a tool that can recover it in BROM mode.

If it keeps restarting, this may not help at all, but I'll leave the tool here for you (or whomever may need it) to maybe give it a try.
Hope you can recover it somehow, good luck and have a nice day

I need urgent help :(

Hey there... I was trying to get my OnePlus 7 -That I just bought - to a rooted Android 10, updating was the easy part but while trying to "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" I think I somehow got myself stuck making the bootloader (aka fastboot mode ) as my main thing the phone load into and now when I turn on the phone it goes straight to fastboot mode I go and try to "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" it says OKAY twice but I can't load into recovery it takws me back to the fast boot again.... Idk what to do... Help
More into:
I got to the twrp before once during the process and idk why dumb me rebooted when I couldn't access my phone files from pc I wanted to put the image of OOS on a flash drive and via OTG but once I restarted by mistake after that whatever choice I make on the fastboot screen will quickly restart and get back to the same screen, so I can do "fastboot flash boot twrp.img" successfully but I can't load to it I hit reboot to recover or Start or Reboot Bootloader nothing takes me to twrp,
Also when I try "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
It says sending recovery okay, writing recovery failed, (remote: (recovery_b) no such partition)
I hope to get any help and I'm sorry if it's an obvious thing I couldn't notice, I'm not the sharpest between my brothers. Momma says. ? with me. I'll appreciate it I promise.
Have you tried this Fastboot ROMS?

"sahara server" problem : disable driver signature / update drivers
https://www.howtogeek.com/167723/ho...8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/
Qualcomm dr: https://gsmusbdrivers.com/download/android-qualcomm-usb-driver/
you must to press power button at the same time you plug in usb cable.....keep trying and your computer will start installing drivers for Port 9008
(you can use Google Search for more Info about "sahara" problem)
First of all twrp.img is a recovery image. You would normally use fastboot flash recovery twrp.img.
Secondly, you aren't supposed to flash twrp.img but use fastboot boot twrp.img and then boot to twrp and flash the twrp installer. If you can boot into fastboot, type fastboot boot twrp.img(twrp.70 for android q) and then flash twrp installer and oos. And if you can't boot into recovery you will have to use the msm tool.

Thanks daitalos for the reply..
the drivers for 9008 are installed as visible in device manager...
the msm tool shows the phone as connected, when i start the process, it waits for loading firehose binary and waits there for 10 sec.....after that throws error of sahara communication failed (FH:258)
i again tried the volume up + power button combo but to no avail...
also there is no red led light on the phone while charging

In device manager you can see "Qualcomm HS -USB QDLoader 9008 (com3 for example) ?
You tried another usb port (?)
in windows 10 it is better for the computer to have the "developer mode" enabled
Close any antivirus temporarily..
Run msm tool as Administrator ofcourse..
(I don't know but If you try with msm tool from here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/op7-unbrick-tool-to-restore-device-to-t3954325
you should see the models it supports (GM1900, GM1901, GM1903, GM1905)
_I think the problem is on the computer and the communication with the device...
sry for english
Thanks

"Qcomm crash dump" happens sometimes usually if we flashing some wrong file
various solutions are mentioned by users, for example using twrp or with fastboot rom & "flash-all-partitions-fastboot.dat" etc
Personally I think the best solution is : First, Install the stock rom the device to function properly, and then if you want root /custom recovery etc you can follow this quide : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/guide-unlock-bootloader-flash-twrp-root-t3954559
you can to restore your device to OxygenOS easily via MSM Tool : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/op7-unbrick-tool-to-restore-device-to-t3954325
If needed you can find OOS repository thread here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7/how-to/oneplus-7-repo-oxygen-os-builds-t3937152
Thank you,
I'll try to restore via MSM as soon as I have a moment

Kona is the name of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G used in our phone
Power+Vol up+Vol dn should get you out of crash dump and back to fastboot.

Read the OP of the MSM Tool thread carefully. It tells you what to do about getting Crash Dump when using MSM.

[FIXED] One Plus 6 hard bricked, bad TWRP installation

Hi,
I tried to do following steps:
1. Install last LineageOs as they say in their web site
2. Then I tried to install twrp recovery. I downloaded lastest version form here https://eu.dl.twrp.me/enchilada/
3. I tried to install it using:
fastboot flash boot twrp-3.6.0_11-0-enchilada.img
And It stucked on twrp logo... Just infinitelly.
If I restart in fastmode, this logo is shown, if I restart in recovery, this logo again. If I try to restart from lineage, this logo. Nothing happend and I can't do fastbode devices neither adb devices.. Only different screen I can see is this one that says the bootloader is unlocked and "PRESS POWER KEY TO PAUSE BOOT"
Have I bricked my new phone?
Thanks in advance
Also if I enter into fastboot mode (power + volume up) and I do fastboot devices I got no answer
Googling for a while I arrived to the MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe
I'm trying this

Waiting to download and trying to get a windows mahine. BTW, i found this linux scripts to

I managed to fix it!!
Following first link tutorial, I executed MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe. However it brings me the error Sahara Communication Failed. Please try again after power off the phone. So I tried to change the cable to a non USB 3.0 and well, I dont know how but doing volume up + volume down + power on It entered to the fastboot mode so I flash the lineage recovery and... It boots again!
:') I'm happy
