I am confused about the colours available in Mate 9. I went to the shop and liked Mocha Brown and Space Grey, but I am confused between them. Which one did you get ?
Any real world pictures would be nice too...

I bought the Space Gray US model because the screen is black which I like. The back I don't care what color it is because I always use a case. Mate 9 Space Gray is on the left, Mi Max in gold is on the right. I had the Mate 8 in Mocha Brown and it was almost a gold color, not very brown.

Likewise, I also want my device front to be black and as per the backside, if it is beautiful, why not ?
Currently I am using a Sony Xperia Z3 in Copper and it is so beautiful, I keep it naked. Even if gets somewhat scratched.
Hence, I am confused as to which color to go for... But hey, thanks for your valuable input.
I have mocha brown. It's the only colour Huawei distribute in New Zealand. Imo they all look pretty good though, it's really just a matter of personal preference.

The models with the dark front are best. You can see the screen black border with white color.
I settled for Space Grey in the end. The rear side is grey and the front is black. It may be conservative, but looks good on this phone.
I got the Champagne Gold and its stunning. It really looks so classy. And with the right case on it.....WOW!!

Btw. that include case is a bad joke. It looks and feels so cheap. Also after 2 days the glossy plastic is full of scratches.

True, i scratched it like [email protected] already within 3-4 days, and it also feels so lose.

unfortunately i can't even find the black one. on mine the button covers were bent out after a few days and i removed them alltogether.
it feels nice, but the quality of the cover isn't that great.
maybe try the Nilkin one? used that on the Mi A1 for a good 9 months and no issues. (and there is a white one as well)
try imak cowboy case, its almost identical to the oem case but with cover for the bottom port, really nice
No, this can't be bought, even in China.
same issue..i have the white mix 2s..the default cover cracked a few days after use.. not able to find anywhere.. that's actually sad, as mi makes back covers for most of its phones
as someone pointed the cowboy case looks good....but there is no white variant....

Ah that sucks, nobody seems to do a case similar to the OEM one. The only white ones don't cover the buttons at all, the Nilkin ones look too thick. I've got a nice Voppton one but again they don't do white.. :crying:

I bought a case called MSVII, although it is not like the OEM, it is very comfortable to hold.
Got an IMAK Transparent Crystal 2 Pro case that's as thin as the original case (thinner than the MSVII and Voppton cases since it doesn't have the soft rubber coating). Looks rather nice as it's transparent. Drawback is that since it's so much like the original case that the screen lip is not raised.
There's an official Xiaomi case you can buy that's nicer than the one that is included with the phone but it doesn't appear to come in white:

The case is more minimal than I personally like--I don't feel comfortable using this type of case outside my apartment but if you like minimal the case is nicely designed.

Just a short review...so everyone thinking to purchase are aware. I will rate them 6/10 for skins and 10/10 for customer servise
Facts i have paid full price for 2 skins + shipping
20.78£ about 24 euro for 2 skins!
This is not my first skins...but first from them...
They are easy to apply...seems to hold well...
But before purchase... I got 2 and 1 of them has defective circle and they are not 100% fit at least not for me.

Got this black carbon skin for my phone today! Gotta say it fits very well on the phone. It really makes the grip a lot more comfortable and firm in the hand while I'm holding it. They sent me the full skin even though I didn't order for the camera, which was nice of them. :good:

But little on expensive side.
I have now the white gloss skin on.... Its bad....but i guess is the choice of colour

Had them on poco f1 before from the same seller. They were superb....great fit and excellent grip. So i dont think they are any different. They are cut to precision.
So basically I shouldn't have gotten the blue version of the phone because there is no skin to cover that?

There is...but not 100% for bow all are only covering back panel...the sides will always say the true colour of your phone.

I desperately searched for poco f2 skins without any luck.
The crappy aliexpress search didn't contribute to that.

Just applied a skin ordered from Xtreme Skins (carved charcoal).
I must say it fits the white poco with the silver bezel quite well.
It's nice to the touch and grippy due to the structure; also very fingerprint resistant.
You can clearly see the white colour of your phone... Skin not being aligned around flash light. As well you missed the ring around camera module...

Got a black glossy version, applied in seconds.
Looks great and has amazing grip in my hands. Not too expansive related to quality so my vote in pool will be positive.
My only tought is that they will not last more than few weeks, due to the fact they are made in a rubber-film and they will easily been scratched..

Well, after 3 days I found two corners detached from phones' body and cracked, impossible to reattach.

Actually the skin is aligned perfectly around the flashlight.
The photo has been taken from a slight angle, that is why the white colour is visible. Other than that the skin is aligned perfectly around the flashlight if I look from top with the phone on a flat surface.
Btw the camera ring was not meant to be skinned in the first place
For me the result is quite good and it looks better in person than on photos.
Well i would like to include my honest review also. I've never purchased nor applied any skin on any of my devices till some days ago. I wanted to try XtremeSkins and got the Carbon Fiber which i failed to apply, totally my fault. I wrote an email to their support telling them what happened and i received an response within some hours from Lee which asked me if i want a refund which i didn't as it was my fault. I ended up receiving two skins instead of one even that the fault was at me struggling to apply it and not at the skin, i applied one of them immediately and everything's starting from the grip to the feeling is perfect. I did heard that their support is good but i think that's not enough, they rock at dealing with customers that's why i'll continue to order from them and recommend their skins to anyone that's interested in quality and good support.

I know it's only 16 votes so far but I am surprised that bronze and black share the lead right now. Bronze was heavily promoted by Samsung and tech bloggers seem to love it. I ordered that colour even without seeing it in real life, hope it lives up to the hype!
I like the bronze but it only comes in black for 512gb
Got Black as it's the only way to get 512Gb.

Got black for 512GB but I also feel (from the pics I have seen) that the bronze looks to close to rose gold. It's great to see so many people like the mystic bronze but it's just not my style, I'm more boring and always liked black. All my vehicles have either been black or white (tied at 2 a piece for white and black but my first car was grey so in the middle of the 2, lol). Also after I strayed from black phones to the coral blue Note 7 I feel cursed to stray from black again lol. Anyway, 512GB only on mystic black also forces my hand even if they had another colour. Why they don't make both colours optional 512GB is stupid but it's Samsung.

I agree. I really like the Mystic Green color, but it's only on the smaller note. And on top of 512GB in black only, no 256GB in the US ?
What irks me is that they'll release more colors later. Why not release all of them?
After going with Aura Glow last year on the Note 10+, I found myself wishing I had gone for Aura Black. I just love the look of the all black slab with the screen off. But I also HATE the greasy fingerprints on black, and I've been wanting a matte phone forever. I actually have a matte clear skin on the rear of my Aura Glow Note 10+, which made it just an irridescent silver color.
So I was all set on Mystic Black and had no interest in bronze. But after seeing it was a matte finish, I began looking a little closer at it. I finally pre-ordered it in bronze last night. After looking at it in person at Best Buy today, I feel confident I made the right choice. It really has a premium look to it, and I didn't really get a rose gold vibe from it. Plus if I get sick of it, I'll put a white skin on the back, which will look amazing with the bronze frame and camera mountain.

That's great to know that you got to see it in real life, a lot of reviewers say that the colour looks better in real life. Cameras seem to make it look more rose gold than bronze. I blindly ordered mine in Bronze because of the praise it was getting in reviews. So thank you for confirming I made the right choice )

Retailers often promote whatever they find themselves with a surplus of.
I was going to get the white, but went with bronze due to the matte finish. Was slightly tempted to the black only for the 512GB, but I have 128 in my current S20 Ultra and I don't use it all, plus will have an SD card waiting for the phone.

That's true of retailers trying to shift stock, but that doesn't apply in this case as we are talking about a product that's not released yet.
They promoted Aura Glow last year and it quickly became the 'must have' colour based on the feedback from reviewers. I still love it. So bronze is also taking the same reviewers by storm. I am confident it will still be the most popular, black being also popular but probably only because of the limitation on the 512Gb variant.

i was sold on the bronze but went and saw it in person and didnt like it as much.
if I get one i will import a 512gb mystic white one likely since the dipshits at samsung only sell 512gb in black in Canada again this year.

I got Blue but was very tempted for the Pink. Graphite is so generic I try to switch it up.

If I had to reorder the phone I'd get the bespoke edition, with a dark frame and the blue panels. The blue metal frame has slits which are more noticeable than I expected. It's a fine looking phone in any combo.

Yes those bespoke combos are nice, I had a time deciding but I can get cases to change the look up if I need so went neutral (sort of)
I had a Z Flip3 5G in the dark green, which I really liked. The only possible choice for the Flip4, though, was Graphite - the other colors were just too feminine for my tastes. But then I'm old...

Well I thought I ordered black (or graphite actually) and they sent me a pink gold, but I put my old black case from my flip 3 on it so you can't tell anyway! lol! I am kind of digging the gold trim though and my old case had a gold/copperish ring on it and some gold looking rivets so I must say it does look kind of snazzy even though it is pink underneath!! I think I need to slap a little more gold looking ring on that case though to get that gold flow going a little better! Actually the pink is so light it looks more like off white cream color to me (except in a dimly lit room maybe) and after going to the website and looking at the colors available if anything the purple looks more like a pink to me!!! LOL!!

It really makes no difference to me as I always fit a case to my phones. Ended up with graphite as that's what they had in stock.
Bora Purple and team it up with Watch 4 classic and bora purple buds 2 pro!
Bespoke red + black frame. The red is... reddish, or bright red in the direction of orange/salmon. Came with the transparent Samsung case. I'd rather have some crimson, but I'm fine with this color too. The case is not as grippy and I'd prefer more sticky texture, but fine for the time being
I choose Bora Purple as I think that's the hero color here in my country
