Looking for app that enable/disable group of notifications - General Questions and Answers

I have 2 different jobs and have 3 different apps in my phone that I use for each work (so total 6 apps).
What I want to do is toggle between the notifications here.
Example when I start workA I want to enable notifications for appA+appB+appC while silent notification sounds (still keep bar icon) for appD+appE+appF
and when I start workB I want the opposite to be done. Receive sound+vibration for appD+appE+appF while silent notifications (still receive notification bar icon) for appA+appB+appC
And when I logout or I am on holiday I want to silent notifications for both jobs.
Is there any app out there that lets me toggle between multiple custom notification quick and easy?
As it is now I have to go to android settings and make 6 different settings all the time.

[Q] App request/idea - Notifications Pop up

Hello Everyone,
I`ve got an idea of an app to read all the notifications from the android status bar and show them in the pop up window (similar to the iphone) with the buttons to dismiss it or open the appropariate app to deal with the occurence.
I find android status bar notifications a bit annoying due to the need to slide the top bar down and press the actual notification to deal with it or dismiss it.
There are pop ups available for texts and missed calls via third party apps and there are similar ones for notifications from gmail, voicemail and facebook possibly, but I don`t want to instal 10 apps to get all notifications as a pop up.
It would be handy to have an app to read the info about all notifications from the status bar and transfer it to a nice pop up window with simple two buttons to dismiss it (mark as read and remove from the status bar) or to go into the proper app to deal with it further.
There is an app called Vibration Notifier which seems to do a bit of the above - read all of the notifications from the status bar and then remind about them in the set intervals by either vibrating or vibrating and sound. The developer of this app did the job by getting the permission (from the user) to go via android`s accessibilty mode. I`d love to see someone going further that road and do the pop up window.
Has anyone seen such an application or maybe anyone willing to write one?
I`ve got no idea how to do the coding / developing stuff - sorry ;-)
Thanks for any replies.
Tommy.

Multiple notifications in status bar for same app

i'm hoping this is a really easy fix (i'm coming from using an iphone for 10 yrs):
Some of my apps, such as Fitbit, and even google's weather, send me multiple notifications during the day for a period update, but the most frustrating this is that it'll keep adding an icon for that app into the status bar, so for example for 3 notifications for fitbit, there will be 3 fitbit icons in the status bar. it's annoying, and stupid -- is there a way to turn it off or make it "merge" somehow?
i can't believe this clutter is acceptable way of default notifications.

Issue with Twitter notifcations

So on the htc 10 which is what I am coming from I am able to choose silent notification or different notification level for each app, that seems to have changed. I cant find any way to get rid of vibration or sound just for specific apps within the notification setting panel. In the Twitter app theres nothing specific and if there is I have it off and in the app settings within the phone it just gives me the type of notifications such as direct messages, news etc. No where does it let me turn off sounds or vibrations for the app.
Within the Twitter app in the settings the only option is under Display and Sound, second from the bottom you can turn off in app sounds.
If you go to the app settings (where you would force close or clear data) and tap Notifications it lists multiple categories such as Direct Messages, Related to you and your tweets, etc. Here you can disbale ALL notifications (but moving the slider at the top to OFF) and the checkbox next to each of these turns them on or off completely.
If you tap on the item like Direct Messages (or any other item) you can again toggle them off for that function (same as unchecking on the previous screen) and set the behavior. I have most set to Show Silently, which will not vibrate or make sound. If Make Sound is on, vibrate is available under the Advanced roll up. Review settings for each type and turn vibrate off or change all to Show Silently if that's what you're after.
Hope this helps.

Quick panel shortcut to disable notifications

Is there a 3rd party app perhaps that lets you add a custom Quick panel shortcut to disable/enable notifications from either a certain/multiple/all apps? Something like "Do not disturb" except it doesn't turn your phone into silent mode, it just turns off the text notification/s. Like if I receive an email, the Gmail icon would still show a +1 counter or even trigger the new email sound, but I wouldn't receive any notification at the top of my screen. Like if I'm showing my photo gallery to a friend, I don't want a random email or SMS or whatever from whomever to pop up and my friend sees it - it's none of their business. I know I can also go manually into Settings, Apps & turn Notifications off completely for specific apps, but I just want a quick 1 tap shortcut like I have for "Do not disturb" mode and also not disable them completely, but just the text notification at the top.

Question Is there an option to disable sensitive notifications on lockscreen for individual apps?

I've looked through app settings and notification settings and could only find the option to globally disable sensitive notifications to show on lock-screen.
That said I want messages and the like to continue to show on lockscreen but I don't want my calendar notifications to show up.
