Guys, I was just given an old cellphone, Huawei Mate 7, but turns out it is a chinese version, and it didn't have any gapps on it. I have googling & search & try to install gapps to it, but with no luck. Can anyone give me any idea on how to install gapps in this phone?

I have a similar question because I bought the chinese Honor 20i and to unlock it's bootloader I had it converted to Honor 10i global version by https://ministryofsolutions.com/ Now the phone is running EMUI 9.1 and I wonder if SuperSU can be flashed on the current EMUI with TWRP or if Lineage OS, Resurrection Remix or any other custom ROM would work on this phone model. If you just want to be with Oreo, you can first download the last firmware for FRD-L09 at FirmwareFinder website. It's 3 files and you can flash them with HuRUpdater zip using TWRP 3.1.1-1 (openkirin edition I think)
To get any 8+ ROM to work you need EMUI8 firmware base. Maybe you are interested in rebranding your device, because there is no EMUI8 for C185 available. You can rebrand to C432, for example. But I don't know much about it and I suggest you do your own research before. Guides to this are available in guides section.
Otherwise you can flash any Android 7 ROM.
