just updated to ui 2.1
Does anyone feel the new fingerprint animation is slower than the previous and ugly?

Are there any apps out there to tweak Sense UI? Things such as reduce the number of screens, tweak the screen transition speed, colors, etc?
Thank you

In regards to the transitions -- you an app called Spare parts. To change the color of Sense and what not, this would have to done by theming (modifying) the exiting files and changing the colors.
I plan on creating a theme, but as of right now -- I'm in the process of creating a new bootscreen.
I don't think you can mess with the Sense UI very much. The # of screens is set in stone. If you want the sense UI feel, but want less homescreens, download LauncherPro Beta from the market. It allows for 3-7 homescreens, and they have that little bounce when swiping left and right. It also has the 3D app drawer (you must enable it in the settings). Not sure how ADW launcher compares to LauncherPro, but it has similar functionality, but looks a little more like the Froyo launcher on the N1.
Also, get Fancy Widget, which is an almost identical copy of the HTC flip clock with weather.
Also, Smooth Calendar is very close to the stock 1 X 4 calendar widget.
There is a 4G toggle on this board, so you can turn on/off the 4G radio in one click.
I don't miss HTC Sense one bit.
Thank you for the input. I found my self trying out Launcher Pro and love it! I appreciate the info

Because the OP copied the post word for word minus the links from an Android piracy website, and you need to do that to properly install the pirated copy.
Nice transitions. The bounce effect is a little too strong for my taste though.

For me the update broke all my widgets. I had a FC everytime I tried to click any of them. Tried reboot and everything. I then reinstalled LP and now everything is back to normal. I have no idea what caused the problem, previously updates haven't broken anything.
There is a problem parsing the package.
Does anyone have performance issues with cube transitions? On my SGS it's not as smooth as the default or scale transitions. I already changed mem usage preset to high, disabled high quality scrolling but nothing changes. Any idea?
Beta 8.3.6 is out.

Hi guys
I just got a D2G with Stock gingerbread BLUR ROM. But I prefer to use CM7 just like my Milestone. The question is how can I rip blur DIALER, CONTACTS APP, WIDGETS, MULTI-TOUCH KEYBOARD and other stuff and merge them with CM7?
Specially window animations in 2.3 stock ROM are very nice and I want to extract them and integrate with Cm7. As Kabaldan made an effort for screen rotation for Mileston, It is not actually resemble the original MAGNETIC effect. Anybody can help?
You cannot.
Blur applications depend on the Blur framework which is pretty low level in the OS.
Thanks. What about transition animations? I heard that they are presented with some kind of XML. Also, There was an app on the market that help making some changes to my Milestone transition animations.
I just stumbled up a newly released launcher called Arikui Launcher on the Play Store, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arikui.launcher
This simple but extremely smooth running launcher shows how launchers should be done. The swiping and animations are very well implemented and are extremely smooth and responsive. I have set my page transitions to the in and out animation and love the performance. Even tapping on an icon there is an extemely smooth and well done fall away animation. Coming back to the Arikui Launcher there is also another very well done and smooth run in animation.
The Arikui Launcher can be made to look similar to a Windows Phone home screen or a Nokia Meego rounded icons home screen. I went with the Meego style by setting the corner radius of the icons to maximum. It looks modern and stylish in a minimalist way.
I am running it on my Galaxy Note 2 and compared to Touchwiz or any of the other Windows Phone style launchers, nothing holds a candle to Arikui in terms of performance. The only thing this launcher needs is to make the icons/tiles resizable.
I hope other launchers can run as fast and smooth as Arikui and perhaps some devs could decompile it to see how it runs so smooth.

It's free on Google Play. The link is in the first post of this thread.
I just got the new update for the One UI 3.0.
Now the gallery app have this new feature, where the images appears on a small carousel.
This was not there on the previous version, how I can remove it or deactivate it.
Thanks
