What are these wakelocks? - OnePlus 6 Questions & Answers

I am experiencing some screen off battery drain issues and these are my results from BetterBatteryStats. I have been told that the PowerManager wakelocks are just the sum of the partial wakelocks. But the times are absolutely off so I don't think it's true for my case.
Thanks for any help.

Go into the setting and set as charged instead boot. It's more accurate.

Alright, thank you, will do. I managed to fix all my battery drain issues yesterday, so I'm currently writing an extensive guide on what I did to fix everything with my OnePlus 6 so no more people will have to struggle. lol.

Can anyone tell what effect these kind of effect these monitoring plugins have on battery. Do they drain more battery
They drain a negigible amount of a battery, to the point that you should not notice it any.

Perhaps you should go into your accounts and stop many of the the Google services from syncing. I only have Calendar, Contacts and Gmail on. That might help with battery life.

Make sure you read the last post, it streamlines the process, I just haven't had time to update the OP.

Why would they do that? The whole point of having a smartphone is having instantaneous access to your info and using these features. This is a known bug affecting many. Supposedly oneplus one will fix this with the next ota update.

Things running constantly so that you can have instantaneous and continuous access will drain battery-operated electronics. That's nothing unique with OPO, other smartphones, or any other electronic device which runs on a battery.

Yes it will drain your battery, but not excessively like the google services bug present in cm11s. Most people don't buy a smartphone to have everything turned off on it. My g3 has all the same things constantly active and battery is a beast on it.

That is a great suggestion for a temporary battery life improvement but hopefully the update coming from oneplus will resolve it permanently. I hope it does, I really like this phone but will switch over to the g3 permanently if it doesn't get fixed.
this did the trick on mine. I made this video for couple friends
just stop all the services and do immediate reboot
should be fine after

Do you have your brightness cranked all the way up? That'll drain your battery pretty quickly. Looking at your stats that's the only thing I can think of since your screen is using so much battery.

Android system wakelocks 5.1

Anyone having android system draining more than 20% if their battery? I've read a few posts with other people having it and my last option is to downgrade to 5.0.1 because look at the screenshot, this is non stop 24/7.
Wakelock detector is useless. Doesn't find anything out if the ordinary.
try betterbatterystats app to determine exactly what is causing the wakelock

I was/am having the same issue. Any chance you're using any smart locks? Once I disabled it got a lot better.

Nope no smart locks.
It happens only from 100% to around 60% after reboot it goes away. But it happens every day consistently.

Battery problems (maybe deep sleep)

Hey guys. I got some battery problems. Although my battery lasted 2 days I'm not happy with it.
I have no idea about deep sleep but I think my phone doesn't. I lost 10%!!! over night in airplane mode.
First of all I'm not using any gapps at all.
Im on cm12.1 15th nightly but earlier versions resulted in the same.
Then I have mobile data disabled 90% of the day, I usually use some wifi over the day. And some Bluetooth when I'm in the car.
I made some screenshots, maybe someone can tell me something about my battery problem. Thanks!
You can try this fix

I've done this today only. Will let you know if it works.

Yeah. But the battery drain is caused by the OTA update checker !
That fix worked for me.
Give it a try if nothing else works.
