Can anyone provide the side light notification as seen on LG G8s and newer models for LG G7 thinq running on Android pie. I was expecting in the new update but since there is blink led i guess it doesnt support. Also any AOD changes. Is it possible to get and install in APK [unrooted]. Im no developer and do not want to root my phone. Please Help !

I wonder if anyone else noticed this or not, but after upgrading Moto G 2nd Gen to Android 6.0 Marshmallow (stock ROM), the "Ambient Display" feature and "Notification Light" are not working for missed calls when the device is on standby and both features are enabled in settings. They seem to be working fine for other types of notifications. Has anyone found a solution?

I'm a beta tester and In the camera app of LG V50 (V500N) in Studio Mode, I notice that while in selfie position and in focus, the 3D Lighting icon doesn't appear to adjust the colour temperature and brightness level, and change the source of light, as its stated in the camera manual. This situation was verified since firmware v11r to v19m. The actual version of camera app is 9.0.66. The options in Studio mode are Natural, Softbox, Contour, Stage and Stage Mono. Is this normal, or do I have an hardware or software problem? The rest of the functions and options in the camera app are functionning.
Could you guys verify in your devices if the 3D icon is appearig or not, please. Thank you.
UPDATE!
After sending an email to LG directly, they anwsered me that "3D Lighting is only supported on G8. Please note that this feature is not supported on V50 models.". It's probably what I've thought, G8 has Tof camera and V50 not. The strange thing is that the LG V50 manual refers to the 3D Lighting.
Anyway, problem solved!
How to enable split-screen multitasking in Android 10 on LG V50 (Korean)?
It looks like there was an issue with LG v50 creating an update with the split screen that's compatible with the new Android 10. I hope they fix it quickly because I would have just not updated my phone if I would have known I would have lost the ability to use split screen.

I owned a V50 korean kt with last android 10 April patch 20o firmware, and have no problem at all with spilt-screen multi-tasking, and I've never have in Android 10, as depicted in screenshot appended. It's strange that you can't use it really. Maybe a factory reset solves it.
Tap recent app button -> long press the app icon -> menu drop down for multi-tasking / popup window / Pin app

I just bought this awesome device but there is one function I really miss from other devices... I miss the notification LED. I have read this device g100 has a tiny LED but it is only activated when phone has no charge and you plug in the cable just to show signs of life.
Does anyone know if it is possible to activate the LED for notifications? any app, do we need ROOT? Maybe this function is in the current Custom Roms available for our device?
There is only one rom, LineageOS Modded has the LED enabled.
Is there any chance of getting a Magisk module that makes it possible on stock rom? Or a near stock rom with this functionality? Can we request this?
Do you think there is a chance for Motorola to implement it in a new stock version?
I'm on Android 12 and among many unpleasant things about this update there is one very irritating.
If I'm unlocking phone from Android 12 Lockscreen then it's unlocked like usual.
If I'm unlocking phone from Moto Display, then for a split second homescreen wallpaper (icons are unaffected by the way) turns black.
Is this a know bug on Edge S or it's just me being unlucky?
I dont have that problem. I do recomed try with a hard reset

Yeah, gotta give a small update on this issue. This problem occurred shortly after I've upgraded to a12. For whatever reason I had two lockscreens (a12 and moto display) interfering with each other. One time you'd get a12 and the other - moto display. Then I set up a pin and a fingerprint, then removed them both and the a12 lockscreen has gone as well.
Now I'm trying to understand why the a12 lockscreen is gone and how to recreate this issue. At the moment I have only moto display. Do you still have both moto display and a12 lockscreens?

Yes, but A12 lockscreen appears only when i push the power button with a finger whose fingerprint was not recorded
