Q:
dear cracks out there. did anybody try edxposed with this combination (twrp, lineage, root-addon by lineage). still am on oreo on my view 10 bkl-l09 and would try pie but need edxposed and xprivacylua. edxposed is not possible with magisk on huawei/honor because of this
https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/i...system-as-root
huawei/honor is missing an important partition where magisk was installed on e.g. oreo. magisk on honor has to be installed on the recovery-ramdisk partition - it replaces the existing twrp.
Did anybody try edexposed with magisk on pie?
was playing around with magisk, edxposed and openkirin roms on my honor play/emui9 and emui9.1 (similiar to view 10/kirin 970) tried many combinations, always ended up with a bootloop.
does anybody know how to roll back to oreo? would like to roll back with my honor play.

Soft reboot after installing magisk modules. Phone is OOS latest stable & encrypted
Guys, I will never post a new thread to xda if I ain't doing research for at least 1 day and found a solution. But here I am, so please read this.
Just bought OP6 yesterday, updating to latest stable Pie OOS 9.0, unlock the bootloader, install blu_spark twrp, magisk 17.1 (but haven't install the modules at this point), then reboot just fine like my other magisk rooted phone. HAVEN'T DECRYPT my OP6 until this post.
Now this where it began. I install BUNCH OF MODULES, KEEP REBOOT TO TWRP and ASK FOR MY PASSWORD TO DECRYPT which I did with the pattern I set, and IT DECRYPT just fine. But when I try to REBOOT TO SYSTEM, IT KEEPS REBOOTING TO TWRP AGAIN . The way I fix this is to uninstall then REINSTALL MAGISK 17.1. BOOT JUST FINE, just minus that modules
I try to INSTALL just ONE MODULE, same things happen. The way I fix it is same as before.
Anyone has this same problem? Should I decrypt my phone with this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6/how-to/test-decryption-t3818775 in order to have Magisk modules work?

Maybe it's the modules your installing. ALOT of people have modules installed on this phone without this issue. Don't Decrypt data because it's not necessary.

Okay man. I just figured out some modules just don't work. Cause I can install Camera2Api and some kernel modules with Magisk.
Modules that always crash to install are James DSP, Audio Modification Library, and Viper4Android from official Magisk repo

Okay. Will try now. Thanks
EDIT: Confirmed. Viper4android works. Maybe it's James DSP that hasn't been updated to work with Pie. Cheers.
I've installed LineageOS 15.1 with Magisk 19.3 (tried 19.4 also) and my SafetyNet is all the time False. I even tried to install LineageOS 14.1 with Magisk 18 - it didn't work. I also flashed GApps (nano/pico versions). Any idea how to fix it? I already tried hiding Magisk and all typical stuff

Enforcing
EDIT: I've noticed that SafetyNet is true when I revoke all SU privilages... But I need them so it's not a solutions for me
Hi, I was facing the same problem. I am running an Android 9 ROM (crDroid), though, so I don't know if my solution will work for you. Anyway, what seems to have fixed this for me is flashing ROM and Gapps first, let the device boot fully and then flash Magisk on its own. If you want to avoid clean flashing the ROM etc. again, you could try unistalling Magisk by flashing the official uninstaller, reboot, then flash it anew. That also worked for me.
I used to get this erratic behavior from Magisk when dirty flashing ROM updates, so each time I uninstall it and re-install it. It's a bummer, but it works in the end... I haven't yet figured out if this "SafetyNet fail" is either ROM or Magisk related. I hope I helped!
My condition was android pie/custom rom, magisk 19.3 stable, selinux permissive, device uncertified in playstore, safetynet false cts and basic integrity.
How is your device certified or uncertified?
However,this was my fix.
In magisk hide i ticked all apps, even system's ones.
In settings/apps i deleted all cache/data of playstore and google play services.
I rebooted in twrp and i cleaned cache and dalvik cache.
I rebooted system.
I waited until my device was fully booted,it depends on your settings, apps etc.
Then i checked magisk, safetynet passed and in playstore my device was correctly recognized as certified.
Had anyone tried Magisk 20.2 and manager 7.5.0?
Is it bootloop free with OS 10?
I updated to the canary release through TWRP and I've been good. I'd expect you won't boot loop, but do a backup first if you can.
I updated thru mm ( after updating mm thru mm) and installed the recommended way in app. No issues.
LG G6 Pie
just updated to M 20.2 my LG G6 H870 Pie thru mm and got into bootloop. no way out and reset phone with LG Bridge (LGup not working for me since 9.0) without data loss. tried again from twrp and bootloop again. now flashing last 20.1 and won't install till next update.
I have latest Magisk Canary & Magisk Manager Canary from today, 02.01.2020. Working fine.
Did the Direct Install and all up to date! ?
I have OP6T with Android 10 AND recently updated to magisk 20.2 and Is working fine for me
Modules don't work in Magisk 20.2. They get installed but they don't take effect. I have to go back to Magisk version 20.1.

Hi, just installed 20.3 and all is working; reading the log, problems for 20.2 were known with LG.
All is ok!
20.3 everything work fine!
Hi to everyone I'm on magisk 20.1, can I update directly to magisk 20.3 via magisk manager or before I've to uninstall some modules (maybe oos native call) like rom update?

I've never had to uninstall modules to update Magisk (I have Swift Installer and xXx modules). Just update the manager app and do direct install of the update.
can someone tell me the proper twrp or blue spark twrp and magisk to flash, i'm on 9.09 and keeping it. Don't care for 10. Thank you
magisk version?

So not correct obviously.
Has anyone been successful in getting Riru installed and running along with LSposed on newer Android 11 roms on Xiaomi Poco X3? If yes, please share the name, version & link of the recovery, rom and riru and lsposed used. Also, confirm whether the rom is fully selinux enforcing. I'm trying to get GravityBox running on my device, but failing. See this post. Thanks for any help.
