what are md5sum and size, mine just downloaded are 3bab56f4f09c78e65c62e9c33bde42d6 and 619205499, but, I cannot unzip:

I think you should check individual files, system.img to be precise.

this firmware is just LP S3S 20150623-142703 FlashTool one with different custom recovery.

I dont understand, why my link is so hot, im not forum noob, or spamer, and make some roms and ports before, for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2440631
this is stock lollipop rom with stock bootloader and recorvery, which gave no problem with OTA,
i use this rom myself,
rom unmodified etc...

It's sure and luckily not a problem: it's an anonymous duplicate, that's all the post with the link is redundant and has created some temperature. Have a nice day and do not worry too much if the thread would ultimately disappear or starve.

i think i know now the issue
issue arises if you install it as an apk only.. unless its placed as a system app then that would fix the problems..

Please fix the credits and also avoid mirroring the zips

Hi @RealSchule , what about giving proper credit to Nathan Benis and linking to him AFH download link instead of reuploading and share?
I checked the md5 and it's the same one than the Nathan one, how can this be possible? You an anonimous hacker?
@reyscott Move it to priv-app with proper permissions and it will work. Installing as an apk don't activate the option to swipe for Google Now.

Hey there as we all know custom Rom development for our device is getting momentum and gcam is working fine too so I decided to make a thread to get most out of gcam.

Guide to install and apply same setting :
1) Download the specified gcam version and install it.
2) Now download configuration file too whose link is provided above too.
3) (a) for 1st version :Make a folder "Gcam" in internal storage and create another folder "configs" (make this folder in Gcam folder) and paste here the configurations file you have downloaded.
(b) for 2nd version make "trCamera" folder and "XMLConfigs" folder in it then paste xml here.
4) Now open gcam and tap twice in bottom area of gcam which is empty it will ask to restore configuration file click on it done.

On the last Havoc OS (3.4), this version of Gcam is crashing .... Is it a 64 bits version ? or 32 bits ?
With the GCam on this post , it is ok. I'm using Opti1.xml.
But the front camera has a max resolution to 4MPix, but ont the S2/Y2, it is 16Mpix .... Is it possible to increase it ?

It's 64 bit version and I am using it on havoc os 3.4 (I will provide link for new xml try that). Gcam is using pixel binning therfore the max resolution is 1/4th = 4mp sadly no way to fix that for now.

[MOD] [Android 10/MIUI 12] [Magisk] Working GCAM + GCAM-Enabler

Hey guys, since enabling GCAM on the most recent official ROMs was a bit problematic for most, I thought it would be better to have a new thread as we don't have one specifically for MIUI12/Android 10 yet, and with this thread you don't have to scroll through all comments to find the solution.

As I use the xiaomi.eu MIUI12 beta rom, I went for this enabler: Miui 11-12 Gcam Enabler.zip (flash with Magisk)
The Gcam version that worked immediately for me is this one: MGC_6.2.030_Bulkin043_V5TR.apk
[Known issues]
MIUI camera breaks, Whatsapp web QR code scanner breaks (but regular Whatsapp camera works!)
Also good to know: If HDR processing takes forever, look into the settings, there's one that should prevent infinite processing.
If anyone thinks that he found the best Gcam mod for our device tell us which one so I can add it to this post!

How to:
After flashing "Miui 11-12 Gcam Enabler.zip" by Magisk, I installed "GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.1.apk" and imported the config of Xiaomi Poco F1.
I also tried "F1v9.6_6.2.030.apk", it worked perfectly too.
Known issue:
Stock camera breaks.

A Better [BEST] GCam for Redmi Note 8 [9 : PIE] [ AUX LENS ]

This GCam is tested on Redmi Note 8 without root, without unlocking bootloader, no custom roms , no system settings , latest MiUi version 11; based on Android 9 PIE ?
What is not working
1. Macro ,
2. 48MP camera,
3. Portrait mode will work if Android version is 10
