[Q] Question for the devs...

Hello there,
Only been hanging about here for a couple of months, reading and rooting, bit of a noob really, just wondering how much life the Galaxy 3 has left in it for development?
With oc speeds reaching and exceeding double the standard figure etc. will there be much more to come from the phone, or will it reach a peak and then slowly be discarded for newer and better?
That said, you guys seem do this for fun, help each other a lot, so i think the devs deserve the upmost respect for the work they put in.
Looking forward to trying my next rom already, just gotta pick it!

[TOOL] HTC Auto Boot.img Installer (One Click Tool)

This will allow you to install custom boot images/ custom kernels to any HTC with S-On and Unlocked Bootloader.
This tool has ADB and FASTBOOT all ready to go so you do not have to download android sdk and learn a bunch of new steps just to flash fastboot images.
Download the Boot Image Flasher
extract to the desktop
place the boot.img from the rom you are installing into the folder of the extracted files
plug in the phone and run the RUN ME file, There are 2 files, One is if you are currently in android and one is if you are already in fastboot.
Hit enter after you run the file and let it flash the boot image, after that you can flash the custom rom

i had it months ago but never posted it cuz we had other scripts but seeing all the issues out there I figured why not.

open the rom zip and you will see the boot.img in there but flash image gui is out, you can find it in the playstore. You can use that before flashing a rom now.

You can use flash image GUI. Joey updated it to work on our one x. And I can report it works like a charm

that only works if you are in the rom. This is for outside the rom, and i did a video with both flash image gui and this tool.

Some facts about the rom:
-Based on stock rom (no several bugs and cameras and Wi-Fi working)
-Ram optimized
-Useful apps (App lock,battery widget,clock widget, Xperia WALKMAN...)
-Some Bloatware removed(Talk,ChatON,Samgung Apps...)
-Smooth Xperia Z launcher

Latin America... Entonces hablamos español los dos... jajajaj. No lo se tio, es posible que funcione o es posible que no. Puedes probar, pero haz un backup nandroid con el recovery por si tienes problemas. un saludo! ;D

Good job Eltitanero. It started with ROMs, still get down to 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 Android version it will only be a real party i need a rom to make it the same as the S4 to the real thing. Eltitonero can you in this your ROM to enlist wheather the S4 as the most beautiful. Thank you for your work.

I will put stock gallery on the next build... i put this gallery because stock gallery need a video player an stock video player is too heavy and slowly

This is my first post in XDA and I would like to leave this little tutorial in Spanish (because I am from there). If this is the wrong section move it for me please. Thanks.

Hoy os dejo un vídeo sobre una herramienta muy interesante e indispensable para todos aquellos que les guste o utilicen del mundo del flasheo en Android. Como algunos de los dispositivos Android dan problemas de driver en las ultimas versiones de Windows, podemos usar en su lugar FWUL (by steadfasterX) y olvidarnos de problemas de drivers, sin necesidad de aprender cosas complicadas en Linux.
Aunque no se puede instalar en el PC directamente, se puede usar en un pen drive o en maquina virtual perfectamente.
Requisitos:
- PC con Windows
- Conexión a Internet
- Rufus (en el caso de montarlo en un USB)
- Maquina Virtual (en el caso de usarlo desde Windows)

Because the same happens to me, my English are very bad to talk. I can reading and writing good but not speaking very good.

Maybe i can try to do that yo say in text mode (without my voice) or, if you are interested, would you like to put your voice in the video?
I make the video record, you pass me an audio file with the instructions and I edit the final video...
It is another choice, if you want.

How to delete notifications in oreo?

I use oreo from the first beta, I even did rebranding to C636B361A and now I have installed the L29C432B361.

In the link you gave. Method 2 works 100%. I hid everything I didnt want, and left a few things I did want. You must he doinf it wrong.

It does not work for me ..... does anyone know how to delete notis from the rom directly?
