How to delete notifications in oreo? - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

Hello partners!
I use oreo from the first beta, I even did rebranding to C636B361A and now I have installed the L29C432B361.
I have not managed in any way to completely eliminate some system notifications, especially apps that need screen overlay permissions, like this \ ue I leave here link https://play.google.com/store/apps...!

GuiKupper,
first of all, please use English here in XDA. It's against the rules using another language (so it's not patriotism or things like that). Second, Motorola has just released KitKat to Moto G, and there is a rollout schedule widely known: it takes a while (about 1-2 weeks, perhaps more if bugs are found during the rollout) to update all devices. So unfortunately you've got to be patient. And no, there is no way to make the update come to your device faster by cleaning cache or other things. The only way is if someone post here the update files, so we can manually apply this update.
OK thank you

no! locked bootloader is one of reasons to avoid root. if you unlock your's bl and root, you can't receive OTA.
try a factory reset and wait for update, and tell us when this happen!!!
Well I've noticed quite a few wrong information in this thread:
First, KitKat hasn't started rolling out quite yet. Secondly people with rooted devices will absolutely be able to receive OTAs although to install them though is whole other deal as the package does check for changes into /system folder. Third but not least important you guys should keep with English and try not to spam the thread.

man, maybe you're right, maybe wrong. when i rooted, i couldn't receive ota to fix the bug of parsing installation apk.
and nobody was spamming the thread, we just talking about Kikat for dual version... another threads in here got spammed, but no here!!
Let's just assume that one did only unlocked his bootloader and didn't root. OTA updates are still available?

According to Motorola on Facebook they already started rolling out KitKat. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...2122189508.180285.140871914508&type=1&theater
I contacted a guy from motocare and he told me that the version for dual sim will take a while yet.
It's funny, the chineses make devices with 5 chip's and big companies have so much trouble making a dual chip rom...

Always on display

I just bought an s7 flat, rooted and installed xposed. Is there any way to disable automatically always on display when the phone is in my pocket?

Hi mate
I guess you disabled it from settings already....and the option "keep screen turned off" is on?
And what xposed module did you install?
That option is on, but AOD won't turn off. The modules I have are YouTube adaway and gravity box.

Mate you know Gravity Box is incompatible with touchwiz?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/app-gravitybox-v6-0-0-tweak-box-android-t3251148
So in summary:
- this module is designed to run on vanilla or close-to-vanilla Android 6 (AOSP)
- supports "Google devices" like Nexus, HTC One Google play edition, and others running vanilla Android 6
- Samsung Touchwiz, HTC Sense, MIUI, LeWa, Xperia, Lenovo, etc. are NOT supported. It is not guaranteed this module will work on these at all so try at your own risk. This module is simply too complex to support all kind of ROM brands that were vastly modified by vendors.
Maybe that is the problem.........
I know that, but I know what I'm doing and I just used status bar tweaks and had no FC or reboots...

It makes sense on a table, not inside my pocket ?

[Question] remove double line notification tray

Is there any way to remove the two lines under the toggles in the notifications tray? I want the S7 to look more stock, already installed nougat theme.
I'm on s7 Helios 7.0.1 rom
I already installed RR rom, but I miss slot of the S7 features and the camera is way worse is CM/AOSP

I know right.. but I think it's annoying..
I think more than these lines are two points:
1) no space between notification
2) no way to always show just the first line of icons? It always show me all of them even when I scroll a little... And not visible all notifications...

Know who's calling, as on a galaxy Sx

Hi,
On my so old galaxy s8, when someone called me, the phone identified it, told me if it was a spam or not. When I called a shop or a restaurant, its name and picture was shown on the screen
It's called "smart call" .
Is there a way to have a thing like that on the OP6?
Thanks

You need google framework to see and install google dialer from play store
Can I install it without root, with the following apk?
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-phone/google-phone-20-0-198798071-release/
If yes, which version?
Arm-v7a?
Arm64-v8a ?
No dpi ? 240dpi? 480 dpi?

Sorry, I already gave feedback to a hint I´ve got, but unfortunately in the wrong thead.
What I did was installing the google dialer module for OP 5/OP6 via magisk. The only thing is that my play store is uncertified. But after clearing data and cashe at least the update worked and also google dialer works flawlessly.
What would the google framework from magisk change? Don´t know if I need it anymore, but I will give it a try and look what´s going to happen ... Thanks anyway!!
So i've installed the patched version of Google phone (found on xda).
I've given all the permissions it needs, but, as the patched version creator said : everything works except call identification [emoji6][emoji6][emoji6]
So, we are back to the starting point : is there a way to have this future?
Is sync me or true caller a good solution?

I did it now and deleted the other module (google dialer for OP 5 / 5T). Perfect now, except that I still couldn´t manage to gain play store certification. Shouldn´t be a problem (?). Thanks again.

You didn´t provide the link, so I´m not sure if it´s usefull. In the thread I´ve found there is said that the call identification doesn´t work (as a bug).

Not even with Samsung. For SmartCall, Samsung teamed up with Hiya. I don't see why sharing your information with Hiya is good but sharing with True Caller or SyncMe is bad.

That makes sense
Try Hiya, it's free with no ads.
Hiya seems a good option.
I gonna test it a few days

True Caller works but what you eliminate in robocalls you will gain in some pretty intrusive ads and aggressive attempts to get you to sign up for their monthly service.

Huawei Secretly Develops This Surprise New Google Solution

?Is it real from Huawei ??
The latest option for millions of Huawei users to skip past U.S. blacklist restrictions and install U.S. apps, including those from Google itself, appears to be a new “official” option from Huawei itself, one that has found a clever workaround in time for the launch of the new P40. The development has been kept secret and has only just come to light as the Chinese giant tests the capability ahead of the P40

Yeh it works but it's not a direct installer, it aggregates known app websites like apkmirror and gives you a link to that web page.
