5.1.1 Rom help?

Hi there, let me just start by saying this!: This is no "best rom" thread.
I've been trying a few roms for this phone allready.. so far ive been happy with 12.1 until i realized snapchat won't work on that rom for some reason :S
After a bunch of 6.* roms ive given up on 6.* roms.. as the touchscreen turns out to be useless in those roms for some stupid reason :/
So my question is simply this: Wich 5.1.1 rom are you using now and why? Wich one has been your fav rom on 5.1.1 and why?
This will hopefully help me decide on what rom to get

Did you try the Touchscreen Fix on an 6.* rom? I'm using NXROM with Touchscreen Fix from Alberto97. No Problems so far.

I just probed ROM LineageOS 14.1 (Android Nougat 7.1.1), but Wi-Fi connection doesn't working well in my case.
Ranking of best ROMs for OnePlus One?

You might get some answers in the flasholic thread and in the what's the best rom thread.

Currently, as per my usage, the AOSPA, aka Paranoid Android has a rom with punchline features. Current version is the 7.2.1. I would suggest you to check that out.

I tried Resurection Remix ROM since few deys and it works nice, I don't see any major problem for now.

I've been using Lineage 14.1 Since March 2017 with no issues whatsoever.
IDK what your wifi issues are, and i have not updated to any of the more recent builds but the one from March 3rd has been working flawlessly for me to the point that I do not even look for new ROMS.
The only real problem I have is in trying to update (which is why I haven't), and the camera, but open camera works as a good replacement for me.
Sorry I know this is not an answer to your question, just weighing in on Lineage on the OnePlus One, which I still think is the best.

Well, auto updating doesn't work.
I have read that is an issue so I found the rom and tried to dirty flash it manually out of recovery.
With auto update I got stuck in a boot loop.
With dirty flash i got blank screen for over an hour.
I use twrp multirom for recovery image, which could be part of the issue but i doubt it b/c it works fine in every other way.
I would play with it more but this is my primary phone, so I can't risk losing it for a few monthly updates.
Literally EVERYTHING else about the ROM I LOVE, and its still more up to date than most

Dirty flash works pretty fine here.I think you might have to change the recovery.

Experience with Xposed on Nougat Roms

So i am wondering how many of you have tried installing latest xposed on Nougat Roms.
So far My experience is not good as i tried it on latest Sultan los 14 and failed to make it work.
Xposed is really important for me, and this is the only thing stopping me from getting on Nougat rom.
So, if you tried it on any Nougat rom for one plus one plz share your experience with us.
How you made it to work, on which rom or if you have bad luck like me, what kind of problems did you faced.

It works without any problem for my One. I have flashed AOSiP Sultanized (https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-aosip-5-8-t3593551). I'm not using many modules, but they all work fine: gravity box, no lock home, secure settings, swipeback, zoom for instagrams.

RN5 Global Vanilla Camera App

Hi Guys,
Let me just say beforehand that I did try and read threads with this topics this but I admit I'm a bit lost. I see that most camera apps for RN5 Global are for unofficial roms, but I'm still on vanilla version.
Is there any working camera app that work better than stock camera app? Even if it's not 100%. I know Arnova's for instance are great and I understand it doesn't work great.

first of all, shouldn't this post be on discussion section?
now, what do you mean by vanilla? miui? its not vanilla. it's xiaomi's own custom made rom. they modified vanilla aosp same as other custom roms you see. here you should say you're on stock rom or miui rom.
and unofficial rom means? all other custom roms? like PE, AOSiP, AEX etc.? they are officially supported by their respective devs. and here you should say you're not on aosp based rom or custom roms.
and now for the camera part. stock miui camera is considered well enough and some say works better than gcam.
if you want gcam you can try different versions and see which works for you. as for now, arnova gcam is partially working and a dev is working on a fix magisk zip. that means you need root by magisk to apply that. that'll fix front cam issue that we're facing now.
and if you don't know, you need camera2api enabled for gcam to work. to enable this you need root. you can unroot after enabling this if you please so. and you'll be vanilla again :laugh:
there's also nokia camera port

NFC not working

Welcome!
Is there any rom with TESTED working NFC with Google Pay? I checked a lot of roms but none of them worked in real life in a shop terminal.

None custom rom has working NFC for security/policy reasons.
Goggle stopped the service for custom rom.
So it is impossible to find custom rom whit NFC working.

No way... this is really sad. Why nobody talks about this? I wanted to use Curve app ( and virtual card ) . I think, no solution for this?

A custom rom doesn't have a security patches.
