Samsung S7 SM-G930F how to remove the rental companys lock files - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

hi,, im adrian.
a while back i purchased a samsung galaxy S7 SM-G930F from gumtree. The price was good & everything was fine.. A couple weeks after,, my phone came up with a message sstating that the device has been locked & the msg had a phone number to call to unlock.
turns out the last owner sold me the phone which he rented from a rental company.
rang the rental company,, no help at all
i would have already resolved this issue by flahing a custom firmware,, but the charger port is stuffed & windows wont detect the device lol.
after messing around with the handset i was able to bybass the lock by booting into safemode & unlocking the devive through samsung lost phone site.
so i am able to get into the phone again,, but olny in safe mode.
my question is,, how can i find the rental companys software files on the device & delete them??
is this possible to achieve?
without root permission?

unlocking phone

Hi guys, I hope this is the right area to post this, sorry I am fairly new and couldn't find a better place
I have a samsung spica gt i5700 and a few months ago I flashed the firmware so now I have android 2.2 on it. Yesterday I changed network provider and moved to 3 (from Tmobile) so my tmobila number will be unusable tomorrow the latest. What the idiots at tmobile failed to tell me is that the phone is locked to a t mobile simcard, so I can't use the other sim. I need to unlock the phone so I asked t mobile and they want £15 and 28 days to do it - unreasonable. Walked in the local off-license-unlocking-hut and the guy tried but it didn't manage to unlock it because he said that having flashed the operating system makes things complicated and he said he can't do it.
So now, can anybody kindly let me know how I get my phone unlocked please, any guide or anybody who can walk me through the process please?
thank you

Verizon GSM/Unlocked phone purchased off Woot, in fact, locked.

As stated above, I just purchased a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S6 off Woot.com last week. It was advertised as Verizon/GSM Unlocked. As I have found out, EVERY SINGLE Verizon Samsung S6 is always unlocked from the factory.. except mine.
I use Ting Wireless running a T-Mobile style SIM, coming from a Blue R1 HD. I confirmed the IEMI with my ting rep, they confirmed the compatibility of my current SIM, but because somehow this phone is locked, I am SOL at the moment.
My theory lies in the fact that maybe the phone was refurbished overseas, and was then set to different band settings and is not quite factory default.
Any information is welcome. My next plan was reflashing the firmware to the oldest setting, trying the card then, then updating if successful. Thank you in advance.

Have you done a factory reset through the bootloader?
If your device is frp / samsung or google locked then read below.
I had just spent the last 2 days trying to figure out what the hell I could do to remove the frp lock on my device. After alot of XDA and Youtube browsing I have found a solution, and I guarantee it will work for you! First off, the Google Account FRP lock is different than the Samsung Account Reactivation Lock (Samsung FRP) So if it is asking you to sign into google account, then theres a much easier way around it.
What you need is Z3x Box, You can get the program via PM'ing me, the program does not require you to have a box with it.
You want to then put your phone into download mode (Home key, volume down, and power) While phone is off. Press Vol Up to continue.
Back to Z3x, once you start the program, connect your device
Now once it successfully connects and you choose your phone model (Make sure its the correct one) go to the UNLOCK tab, and select Reset/Frp/React/EE
if successful you will see what is shown in the image link below.
If not, Factory reset / Wipe with the bootloader and go back into download mode.

Samsung Galaxy S7 FRP Lock

Hello. Recently I found a Samsung Galaxy S7 on the pavement. I handed it over to the police and they tried to find the owner of the phone. Unfortunately they couldn't find the owner and they contacted me and asked if I wanted the phone back, if not it will be recycled, so I thought why not (it is common in Sweden that if you find a lost phone and the police can't find the owner, they will offer the phone to you if you want it). When I got home and started the device and tried to get access to the phone it is locked by FRP. I assume that's why they couldn't find the owner. I have tried bypassing the FRP lock by numerous methods but nothing works. I've tried all of the tricks in the welcome screen to bypass but nothing works. When I try to flash the phone with odin to downgrade the phone it says it's blocked by FRP, I can't flash anything. Is there any way at all to bypass and use this phone? If not then I guess I'll just sell it for replaceable parts or maybe buy a broken S7 and replace what's needed to that phone from the one I found.
Any help/suggestion is much appreciated!

Live Demo Phone Reflashed. Giving security error

Hey all. I recently bought a Galaxy S8+ on Ebay. I bought it not knowing it was a Live Demo Unit. When I received the device I quickly got annoyed from the videos and how the phone resets every 10 mins or so. So I tried to flash stock firmware on it to atleast gain some sort of functionality from it. Since i'm in Canada, I downloaded and flashed the G955W Rom. It passed no problem in Odin, but when you try and boot it I get "Security Error: This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked. Call your mobile operator for additional support. Please note the repair / return for this issue may have additional cost.". At this point I don't care if its the Demo software I just want the phone to be able to boot again. Anyone know where I can get the Live Demo ROM? Or any ROM that would work with the phone. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!!!

I know if i bought a device and it ended up being a live demo unit. I would have returned it and filed a claim on ebay.

FRP S8 help please

Long story short, I lost my iphone 3 months ago in the dunes, then I shattered my backup S8+ screen yesterday. My brother gave me his backup phone that one of his friends borrowed. The person who was borrowing it has moved and has been pretty much MIA. The Samsung S8 doesn't recognize my brothers original gmail account he used when he purchased the phone. What are my options? Can I go to tmobile? I have tried every work around I could find. I've even tried using Odin to put a custom rom on it, which I don't think worked because I'm not sure how to enable debug mode with the phone being locked.
Called tmobile and they told me they can't do anything, even if I provide receipt of purchase on the phone. Can I contact samsung or something?
Contacted samsung and provided the receipt/proof of purchase. They stated they don't have the tools to unlock the FRP. They gave me the number for a facility that is capable of doing it. I have an appointment Monday to have the phone unlocked. They said it can take up to two hours, sometimes they aren't able to get through them. Will update how it goes.
