Hi community,
When I was flashing my device using MiFlash I made a mistake and chose "Flash and Unlock" then my device send this message: "This miui version can't be installed on this device". I can not install any ROM or Recovery because the phone is locked. I tried everything: EDL Point, MiFlash Unlocked. I don't wanna give up. I'm sure there's a solution but I need help. Any idea?

If the bootloader is locked, you might need to flash using an authorised account. They are only available at service centres these days..so that's your only choice ig.

Yeah I friend of mine got a EDP account so he made the job. Now I tried to install a custom ROM but it doesn't work so I installed the original rom but when I'm setting up the phone I can't connect to Network (Wifi nor SIM) so I can not log in in MI Account. Any idea?

Maybe try to flash the ROM again.
Also, I need an authorised account too, could you please help me with getting one?

Ah that's a firmware issue, a lot of people experience that when they revert back. You would have to clean flash MIUI again.
Issues with WiFi and SIM card. I fixed
I Already skipped Mi Account log in. I had issues with WiFi and SIM card. I fixed WiFi with EFS files but SIM doesn't work yet. It can not recognize IMEI . A contact made a EDL flash but it didn't work.
I rebuild .qcn file for RN 7 but QPST software says files doesn't match with device, even though I rebuild the .qcn and it bricked the phone.
Any idea?
Problem resolved. Just needed to use the right .qcn file.

Here's the ZTE V793 ROM Without DIGI Apps.
Fully stock with sim 2 3G enabled, Now you can use 3G in sim 2 but sim 1 still locked.
(a) First, install CWM recovery from

(b) copy the Supersu+root and Rom to SD card
(c) Full wipe
(e) Install rom , followed by Supersu+root
(f) Restart and you are good to go.

No bug at all. I modded the lock screen to make it better, and enabled sim2 3G. Tested and working perfectly without any bug.
how did you cook it? using which kitchen?

Do u mind to guide how to flash using the Flash tool...? the phone cant be turned on... (ZTE V793 SKMM).
where to get exact scatter file & preloader...? unable to load the scatter file from your rom, invalid scatter file as the output result of the flash tool...

Using your stock ROM .. I'm able to revive my phone successfully.. unfortunately.. there is a bug..
The network lock can be removed. Now, i'm able to use both SIM with 3G connection..
MAC Address keep changing and I can't change using either MAC Spoof or Change MAC Address.. as the issue at boot loader itself..
Even using terminal command : busybox ifconfig ...
Still can't resolve the issue. Need your advise.. Thank you.
My firmware file are 100% compatible for malaysian ZTE V793. Follow the instruction to get a recovery on your zte and flash the firmware provided. everything will be fine. The problem now is im getting another file sharing site to re-upload the firmware, i need some time. current dropbox link not longer working due to limitation. Anyone who downloaded my firmware kindly share your mirror if possible. I'll need some time before the file available again.

Changing the boot-loader to default network locked version might solve the issue. But mine is working fine. can anyone confirm this?

So I've bought the dual sim version from Dubai. Flashed Custom rom, flashed nordic CSC file. Everything was working fine for months.
No while I'm in Turkey. I inserted a second sim (turkish one). Phone asked for restart cuase it's detecting new sim.
Restarted phone and now I get red font error at Samsung logo. "Custom binary blocked by frp lock"
I can't boot in to recovery mode either. This is very strange. What could be messed up? Huh
Any help please. I would love to save my data before wiping everything!!

Not working. Cause I'm stuck at the Samsung logo. Can't log in with my google credentials!!
BTW it says FAP lock not FRP.

You have to go to updato.com and download your firmware. Then Odin flash it, then go to developer settings and check off OEM unlock.

I've downloaded stock Firmware and tried to flash through ODIN... I get an error message that PIT file can't be read.
I cant boot into recovery mode either. I'm basically screwed and have been without my phone for two days.
Is there ANY kind human who can take me through this and help out PLEASE.
I don't have access to a windows laptop, only MAC.
just download very latest friwmare and flash than it will be power on normaly

Different Custom roms aren't built accordingly as the offical work fines and smooth:good:
Guarantee you flashing stock rom will not work.
I've been stuck in recovery and download mode and downloaded all the official samsung firmware for my phone, 100% exact and 100% correct firmware.
Been trying for days and days and days.....all flashes ok, but simply reboots to android recovery saying same old SHI*

I have a SM-G955FD. Bought it two months ago and was working perfectly fine till 2 days ago when all of sudden it cannot connect or register on a network. I had 2 sims in it and neither could connect to any network. Instead, it displays this on the status bar instead of the usual bars.
The sim cards work perfectly fine with other phones. The device detects both sim cards.
I have to checked to see if it's an imei error but it is present and it is not blacklisted either.
I factory reset it and it didn't fix it. I reflashed the firmware and it didn't work either.
Also, I cannot dial *#*#4636#*#* either. It says mobile network is unavailable.
Any suggestions?

This happened to me yesterday and yes I freaked out. It turns out in my case even after flashing other roms I was still having the same problem where sims were not being detected and imei was unknown status. My fix was reflashing baseband. I used latest baseband from the renovate ice website. Hope this may work for you.

I have also the same Problem. after flashing official rom and updating my galaxy to the september security patch, hardly i could unlock OEM. after instaling TWRP anf flashing A custom rom (CarHD CRI5) , I cant use my sim card anymore .it works in other phone good but not more in Galaxy s8+. I reflashed Official rom, then it worked again. but i want to use a custom rom.
Can u send th elink of baseband u used?

Please visit Renovate Ice website, go to firmware and choose the 1st OPTION 'CRI5', download and flash via twrp.

I am having same problem on my G9554U1, have tried flashing official firmware latest and also last update multiple times but still no network, was fine before but don't know whats the problem now, if anyone can guide would be very thankful
Soft bricked my phone installing the android 10 open beta.
All good, recovered it (i have lots of experience rooting and modifying phones, but NOT with the a/b structure)
Now i have no service no my phone, but the sims are detected, as during the set up, it shows both of my numbers.
Both the imei numbers are there if i dial *#06#
Unlock was a while back using simple fastboot flashing unlock, and my previous set up was stock, with arter97 kernel & magisk.
I fastboot flashed 2 roms i could find (21BA and 21AA and neither made a difference) - so i'm factory reset too. I'm on Three UK if anyone knows how to get this sorted!
I had the same problem yesterday. Android flashed q, did not work, then returned to 9.5.11, but there was no service.
I reset my device using msm tool. Visit the Msm tool topic, my problem is solved.

You've answered it yourself. You flashed the wrong rom with 21AA. 21BA is for Europe.
As mentioned above, the MSM tool will sort it.

Actually, that wasn't the issue. I've had both on my device before with full functionality. The problem was, when i went back to stock it switched to slot B. was as simple as switching back to A. Now i've updated to open beta 1, i'm back on slot b and all working

I still have a problem with my carrier signal.
1. Sony XZ SOV34 has SIM unlocked
2. Already unlocked bootloader
3. Using Global ROM and already using ExistenZ Oreo
The problem that makes me confused is imei and baseband, there is no problem, but the sim carrier cannot register.
From this problem what should I do?
Hello can you check your apn settings for your operator? If they are all setup correctly try selecting network manually.
Note: You need to search your own mobile operator's apn settings I can't really help with that.

Fido keys doesn't matter for network connectivity. Since you can't setup APN thats the reason it is not connecting. Are you sure that you are not running dual sim version of Xperia XZ? Can you also try tp flash stock rom without exitenz mods? To see if it changes anything.

My Xperia XZ single sim not dual idk what happen with this. Since i unlock this bootloader from tool S1 Network tool
My sim carries change to "No Services". I'm tried to re flash back to Japan rom and back again to global rom but same just "no service"

Can you try to flash your device with Sony's emma tool and see if it works. If it doesn't fix I don't know what will because this doesn't seem something about software nothing like this happened to anybody I assume.

After flashing the firmware..Try to reflash baseband(modem) only..I got this problem back then when i downgrade to marshmallow..and update to nougat via OTA...i lost baseband and imei number...but it's all fixed after i reflash baseband..
NOTE:BASEBAND MUST BE THE SAME AS YOUR ANDROID VERSION!!!

If your baseband and IMEI has gone just flash the 39.0.C.0.282 AU either with flashtool. Better option is xflasher
