Hi, I have just purchased a new Galaxy Note 10, for years I have been using a rooted Galaxy Note 4, my question is can I directly transfer all my apps and the app data from the rooted Note 4 to the unrooted Note 10 and if so how, any help appreciated? Phil
I do not recommend you to do that,
note 4 is too old, you will be transfer all the crap from your old phone,
the best way to a have fully function device is starting fresh, otherwise your battery will be not good as starting fresh.

I just bought the Note 12.2 today and have been trying to use the SideSync app to bring my Note 3's screen onto my Note 12.2. I have downloaded everything possible from the Samsung app store for my Note 3 but cannot get the devices to see each other. Does anyone know how to get the 2 to see each other o I can easily move files and notes from one to the other?
Been trying as well for my note 2 I believe the sidesync app showing up for phones is an older edition. The one on the tab is sidesync 3.0

Have you tried Samsung Smart Switch Mobile? I've been using it and havent had any problems. It can be found in Samsung Apps.
I have the same issue with my note 3 and note pro 12.2. It might be because the pro is kitkat and the note is jelly bean. I hope you guys find a solution for that or maybe we can pull it out from the Internet or something the sidesync 3.0 as apk

Can't get them too connect via that either. Though that pairing is thru audio, strange.
Using Mighty text for now.
I'm starting to think we can class action Samsung at some point. This is my 5th note device, I'm tired of not having all functions work as advertised. I'm fine with paying premium, but how can can I use and show off a cool feature that doesn't work?

I was able to get it to work but I do have kitkat on my Note 3 for AT&T though I can't text from the phone through the app which would be handy to have working.
Has one tired the Note 5 ROM on their Note Edge?
I seen the ROM for the S6, I was wondering if it be worth trying the Note 5 ROM on Note Edge. I love the write on the screen without waking the device.

Not gonna happen. Note Edge is 32bit, and Note 5 is 64bit.

yeah it really doesn't especially since the s6 rom was ported to the note 3
If I could get the new functionality of the s-pen prompt on my note edge it would be nice, but other than that there is nothing that was truly "upgraded" that I need from the 5.
Hello guys, would be possible to port the note 7 features to the note 5 as a flashable zip or we must flash a custom rom to got those things?

Not going to happen on the 920P. No devs care about Sprint's Note 5 and have moved onto the Note 7
If you want Note 7 features, get a Note 7.
I'd rather see CM13 for the Note 5 than lame ass Note 7 features.
It will happen a full port no doubt about that but that will happen in the future a few months probably.

Is the following questions on the Note 7 & the new Linkstick possible right now:
• root them (I know Samsung locked up the S7 series & other devices earlier this year 2 keep them “safe” but by chance did they lockup these 2 device’s I’m interested in, in the same way, so it’s hopefully easy 2 hack them)? What root app(s) is the best 4 these devices?
• how do I use VPN 2 connect 2 the web on the Note 7 when it uses a SIM card?

Hi XDA.
I have some concerns with regards to the above title. I've been using Delitape on my Samsung S3 then LG G3 before with no probrlem. Now I'm using Samsung Note 9 and installed Delitape with no problems encountered.... But for some reasons I reset my Note 9 and installed Delitape again and it plays music with no problem except that the cassette cover don't show up.
What could be wrong?
