Hey guys, Im new to this site and pretty new to the Android operating system. I just got myself a Gionee E3, Dont say it doesn't exist or anything because its not on the website. Its not released yet in many places and Im in China where Im pretty sure they are moving the stock first. There is a video of it on youtube, just search "Gionee E3". Basically, its an amazing phone for the price you pay for in hardware specs (I think) but the problem is the Gionee stuff that comes with it. Im unable to do anything related to google accounts much less download from the Play Store. The current version is 4.2.1 and I've read that other people with Gionee issues in the past have had to root their phone and install custom firmwares and all that just to get google play store working. Now, Im ok with that, just that there aren't any instructions for this particular phone out yet, in the mean time, anyone know of any other methods I can try? Please??

Tried that first, didnt work. Also tried downloading the apk from the computer and installing it, didnt work. Think theres something in the phone that is stopping it form running Google stuff. Will need to wait until theres more info/a way to root I think.
Five simple steps:
Step 1: Root your phone using One-Click root or any other free software
Step 2: Install Root explorer apk from apkmania. Note: Place the apk file on your sd card. If you have a file manager, use it to open the apk. If you don't have a file manager, Open the web browser and type: file:///sdcard/ (name of the apk file).apk
Step 3: Install System Tuner pro apk. This allows you to uninstall all the crappy apps you don't need.
Step 4: Install google play store apk. Available on-line.This app allows you to officially download all the apps.
Step 5: Go out and Explore. :good:

EDIT: Will try in about 2 weeks. On a mac and Parallels is acting up again..

Did anyone install custom recovery on Gionee E3 from above link? Please confirm. I have successfully rooted the phone. But have not been able to locate custom recovery like CWM or TWRP.

I have also installed nova launcher on it to make it look like android . But still its consuming soo much power and i am looking for roms to come

Authentic Chinese Phone (No Rebranding like micromax does)
Battery is Decent , Not too much and not too low

Graphics on Games Look Awesome...!!
Can Be Rooted Now..!
Cons -
1. Gaming Performance - This is the most frustrating thing that i found out as this mobile scores awesome on benchmarks .
I was facing many issues playing even the casual games like fruit ninja . I don't know what was causing this issue but the game was lagging . But on the other side a game like Dead Trigger Played awesomely..!
Also i was facing a lil bit of frame drops in games like
Subway Surfures
Temple Run 1 & 2
Asphalt 7
But on the other side Front line Commando Played Awesomely
I am still a little bit confused and thinking what is causing these issues. So i installed nova launcher , rooted my phone , deleted all the useless crap that gionee puts on this phone , and installed some task killers and an app named trickster mod (mobile needs to be rooted)
and did some tweakings in the app trickster mod and then the games that i mentioned played awesomely but for the time when the application trickster mod is running and each time u lock and unlock the phone u will need to launch this app to regain the access to the awesome performance.
2. No custom roms available yet
3. Heating issue near the camera when playing high end games
4. Camera Crashes Sometimes (Rare Times)
5. Screen Blacking Out and To do a Battery Pull (Rare)
That's pretty much u will need to know before buying this device.
Overall a good device ,
Some things Gionee needs to fix like Making their UI more simplistic and stock
Increasing the gaming performance by changing some software of the phone in their further updates
Removing the Pre-Loaded Crapware

I bought my Note 4 a week ago, so I rooted it, then I installed Titanium Backup to uninstall Samsung bloatware, so I uninstalled a system "live wallpaper.... thing (I don't remember its name)", so I can't set any live wallpaper (I think I deleted the system live wallpaper manager), so can anyone give me the apk of it, or tell me where I download it?, thanks in advance!

I have Redmi note 5 Global with latest miui.
And here is my problem
Today i found app that i didnt installed and i cant remove it.
