Okay well ive tried using all of the framaroot and towelroot and just about every other root method. This is a new model GT-I8580. None of those methods of rooting work for this phone. Thank you very much for your reply though. Good to know that someone cares.
My playstore not working said. " cant initialize...."
I know the cause of this is the freedom. I used freedom when im in kitkat official. Im also rooted that time. Then i forgot to delete the "host" file before updating. Now my "at&t galaxy s4 is 5.0
1 official" can someone help me root this device pls. To fix this problem ? Or any fix/method to this problem without root ?
I also dont know what is lock and unlock bootloader, even how to check if i have lock or unlock bootloader. What does it mean if i have lock and unlock bootloader
Note: my galaxy s4 is at&t 5.0.1 not rooted.
My galaxy s4 at&t can read any sim card because its already factory unlocked.
I have a MetroPCS Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. Yesterday I successfully rooted my new toy and restarted my phone. I then got a "Custom binary is locked by FRP" message and couldn't get in my phone so I Odined the stock firmware and I'm able to use it now. However, I would really like to root my phone. I went into Dev Options and enabled OEM unlock. I want to root but I don't want to get that FRP mess again. Do you guys know how I can root without locking my phone again? Thanks.
Hi.
I know that my device is bootloader locked (Was on O2) and I would like to root it. However I would like to keep Android 7.11. Is there a temporary root for it? I know there was for Android 5 and 6.
Also someone else on the forum managed to get their bootloader unlock to yes. If there is a paid for utility that does that I would pay for it.
Many Thanks,
-MegaBytesMe
Greetings,
I'm really frustrated trying different methods online to show the hidden "OEM unlock" in developers menu, but without avail. Anyone can help to root this mobile?

Thank you for sharing, I’ll give it a try
To root a phone's Android unlocking its bootloader is NOT required.
You simply have to add SU binary to Android's filesystem and make this binary executable.
I want to oem unlock bootloader for trwp and roms but I can't find oem unlock in dev settings and tried the video above and a couple of other things I found
You need the Samsung flash tool and the version of android for the phone and su +twep+magisk is optional good luck
Ps. Allways back up everything!

And I'm fixing the Samsung flash tool is PC only correct? My **** got stolen like a few weeks ago so I'm trying to figure out how to do this **** without a computer and it's a pain in the ass pretty much impossible.
I am having this issue and can't find a resolution for it anywhere.
Boost Galaxy a13 5g android 12:
No OEM unlock switch available...
The trick changing the date doesn't work at all...
I am not trying to flash custom ROM, just to tweak the system kernal settings.
I seen someone mentioned to root w/o the OEM unlocking switch available, all that is needed is to flash the SU binary with Odin.. I haven't tried this yet but I am almost positive Odin for windows doesn't even read the Samsung devices without the bootloader being unlocked.
Anyone care to chime in here? i'd be very appreciative!
Mainly WTF is the OEM unlock switch not available on my device. I actually have 2 of the same devices and both are without the switch.
Also would flashing SU work and do the trick?
Any other useful information you could send my way would be really helpful too.
Maybe who's find how to unlock bootloader on this device after July update?
