Downgrading S7 Google Play Services - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hello everyone,
I am trying to run successfully a gps mocking application on my s7 running android 7 .
I have read a guide about this and one of the steps is downgrading google play services. Meaning that I have to deactivate it, it will automatically reset to its original version and then I will install the version that I want (hoping that I find it).
I was wondering if there can be anythihng that could go wrong in this process and brick my phone. Or in case something goes wrong reinstalling the latest version of google play services should be enough? Thanks in advance!

[Q] Google Play in Samsung Galaxy Fame GT-S6812c from CHINA - Who can help me?

Hello...
I live in Brasil and I bought a mobil Samsung Galaxy Fame GT-S6812c (IT'S ORIGINAL), but I don't knew that Google Play don't work there, cause the rules of the China.
I'm very crazy cause I'm trying install the Google Play since yesterday, but without success.
I did a root with Kingo Android ROOT and I followed this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=google%20play%20chines.
It almost works. Opens the screen to enter the Google account, but it keeps opening a message every 10 seconds saying that the system has stopped unexpectedly. And the login does not end. Loading sits for hours and not finish.
I saw a different way of doing Root. With something called Recovery, but has a specific to each phone and I did not find it suitable for my style.
Someone who can help me?
Please!

very strange that why you got a Chinese edition of s6812c but you live in Brasil.
It seems that this phone is very old , I mean it released a long time ago and have a entry level cpu/ram/screen. I don't which version of android you flashed it ? For different android version, google mobile service is also different , please check whether you flashed the correct version of google mobile service .

[Q] Google Play Services unknown error

Hi,
I have a Moto G (1st Gen - 2013). Its the stock software and I have not rooted the phone. Recently, I updated my Google Play Services apk through Aptoide. Since then, I have been getting an error saying "Unknown issue with Google Play Services" . I believe this is due to that update which is not compatible with my current software on the phone. ( I haven't got the lollipop update yet) . Now, there is a "rollback" option in Aptoide but that requires an re-install of the app. Since my phone isn't rooted, I am not able to downgrade the app.
What are my options now? How can I get my phone back to normal working condition? Any suggestions ?

G9300 Dual SIM Snapdragon S7, best stock firmware for UK use?

I have a SM-G9300, which is a Chinese dual SIM model of S7, with a Snapdragon chipset. It's in excellent condition, with the box and charger, so I'm selling it.
I'm just wondering if there's stock firmware for it that will make it more sellable in the UK, that doesn't have a bunch of bundled apps intended for the Chinese market on it.
Is it the same board that's in American or other English speaking Snapdragon models?
If so, will both SIM slots still be recognised if I were to flash American firmware?
Or is there a dual SIM, Snapdragon S7 that was made for an English speaking market, that I could use the firmware from?
Back in 2017, a guy posted asking about the same, he found multiple answers that I find helpful.
Check his post.
Since there's an official TWRP available for Snapdragon devices, I believe there's hope for you, even though not a lot of custom ROMs exist for your variant.
There are ideas you could try, present in the post, but don't forget the warning of flashing other model's firmware, and what could happen to your phone.
Thanks. I hadn't even noticed this thing didn't have the play store on it! The thing is, it does have google play services and google play services updater on it? is that normal?

No, and yes.
Chinese variants don't implement Google Services, just like the modern Huawei devices wasn't allowed to.
Maybe someone tried to install the Google Services packages, similar to what is done on modern Huawei phones, I can't tell you further.
But there's an Oreo Galaxy S9 ROM available for your device, of which will make your device look like an international S7.

Thanks. The firmware that's on it is 100% official, downloaded via frija and flashed with odin. I had a look at the changelog for the official firmware, and it actually does mention that some new Google features had been added to it.
So there's Google services, Google Play Services updater, and a Google section in the settings menu, but no Play store and no Google apps in any of the menus. Google drive PDF viewer does show up in the list of installed apps in the settings menu though. Makes me wonder that there might actually be a way to install the Play Store without custom recovery, that maybe wasn't possible on previous versions of the official firmware.
For now, I have unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP. I was hoping not have to root it, but it still wouldn't boot after flashing the DM-verity package, so I flashed Magisk and it booted.
I will check out the Oreo ROM for it, thanks. Do you have a link?
I just found out that all I needed to do to get the Google Play store on it was to install the APK file!
As of more recent firmware updates, Samsung have been releasing the firmware for Chinese models with all the underlying Google Services architecture in there already, just without the Play store. Literally just needs the Play store APK.
Been messing around all day trying to flash the Hong Kong CSC file on this thing, cos I really wanted it unrooted for selling it. Stumbled across the Google installer for Chinese smartphones. Tried that, and it was failing on installing Serviced Framework. Turned out that it was failing because a more up to date version of Services Framework was already installed, and all I needed was the Play Store APK from APKmirror.

Solution to 'AppIntegrity' preventing sideload on factory android 13 device?

Hi there!
First, a little bit of background: https://www.xda-developers.com/google-camera-recorder-sideload-failed-verification-android-11/
I have been trying to install Google Recorder on my Galaxy A14 5G that came preinstalled with Android 13, and thus Play Services version 22.02.14. All the fixes I have seen involve reverting your play services version to factory (before android 11) but my factory version is newer then that. I was thinking of sideloading an older version of Play Services, but I don't know whether that would work or wreck my phone. Can someone please give me some guidance on this?
Thanks
