And you can choose country.
Download and replace to system/app , give permission 644
Remove /data/data/com.lge.lgworld
Reboot

I can't seem to log into my LG account, either but that's not so important ( to me ). I'm just so glad that I can browse through the app using English

OMG !!! Thanks for pointing that out to me mate! How dumb can I be.. I didn't attempt to download anything until now.. I just messed up that .apk..
It's ok.. I don't really use the LG Smart World app to download.. A bunch of crap.. I can always restore it later
The link that you sent me is quite tricky to use..LOL !!! I can't seem to find anything there that can help me removing the clock from the Lockscreen.. And I'm sure if I remove the clock from the Lockscreen, the system is going to force me to use another widget ..GRRRRRRRR !!!! But thanks so much man!!

Yeah i totally agree with you about the lg world apps full of useless and unattractive themes and fonts but yeah it feeling good having it in english ???
And about the lockscreen problem i will upload it later sorry if you want it urgently ?

No worries mate.. take your time..I managed to restore the app back to Korean ( I'm in Korea so I can read a bit..LOL ). My login details worked and I can download whenever I want

i think it won't work because as much as i experienced without disabling signature check and patch to android in lucky patch it won't work but you can't take my words for sure right ??? install it if it won't than reboot your device without doing anything just go and install apk try it

And i too once tried to learn korean because i love lg mobiles and man it was a total disaster but i still want to learn it but got no clues how to start ?
And using google translate again with such wrong translations and blenders Ahhh it makes me frustrated ?

Added 8.1 features such as PiP, smart text, new power menu and switch off/reboot animation
Added Updated Dialer (looks more like the Pixel Dialer now)
Added "Colour" under "Display" to tune the display between "Natural" "Boosted" and "Vivid"

If you have any issues/bugs please post with a detailed description of it and if it can be replicated. Also upload any bug reports to your Google Drive and share the link here so the developers can take a look.
How to Take a Bug report.
Activate Developer Settings by going to Settings>System>about phone and tap the build number repeatedly.
Once done go back once and you should see "Developer Options"
In here press "Take Bug Report" and then "Full Report"
Wait a bit and you'll see a notification, press it and upload to Google Drive
Once in Google Drive get the link for the .zip file and make sure the sharing settings are changed to "anyone can edit" and then share the direct link to the file here.
I know this sounds like a lot but it's very easy and really helps the developers.

Downloading now. Hopefully will be a good update considering how long it took.

Already installed (on a de-branded phone, btw). It looks like the screen is about 10% brighter than it was before the update, but I may be wrong. Has anyone else noticed the same?

Someone on the Razer forums said the same thing.

If someone could test something for me I would be very greatful but you have to follow these steps exactly and let me know the outcome. The Theme isn't the cause it's just easier to see.
go to System settings>display>colours and change the colour scheme to "Vivid"
Change your theme to something vibrant like flat green or crimson from the razer theme store
Change the theme on Gboard to something bright like red/green
open Google chrome and tap the field box so the keyboard appears
now swipe the quick toggles all the way down with no notifications making sure the keyboard is still up
Now when you look at your quick toggles is the colour switching from vivid to normal by itself? been trying to find the cause of this on my unit but was a bit hard with hardly anyone on the dev preview.

It will be interesting to see if the Three variant has the update delayed. I am still struggling with debranding mine but if the update does roll out with the SIM free devices I will stop trying.

As those of us who are on the DP will not receive the OTA, and cannot roll back to N neither

Damn, it worked for me, I live outside the US ans had no update available, after the vpn connection from US I was offered the update at first try. Try other servers in US maybe. They sais rollout is in wave. Maybe not all of the US is being served.

Fully fresh install DP 1 and then the OTA over it??? (I'm using the DP 1, but I rooted and messed with some files already, I want the fully fresh experience).

In my case, I already instal DP1 .. and then roll back to nougat version via fastboot .. then relock the bootloader.
And then update via adb sideload the OTA update

Then relock the bootloader.
And then ADB Sideload the OTA.
I heard some users had problems downgrading from the DP1 to N, you had any issue???

Actually no, this is my third LG from G series. I had 4 and 6 before. So long as everything works fine I don't mind using Oreo. That's my point, I would rather wait.

So, no news of new features in pie.. Atleast give us idea how lg is changing its software with pie... Some screen shots anyone????

You can make it work by first using a VPN and connect to Korean server and then create a new LG Account and choose Korea as your country. After that use that account to login and you'll be able to install it

- Google Pay works (didn't work before as the app detected the phone as rooted; due to beta rom)
- faster with more transitions
- screen looks crispier (color changes maybe)
- tried GCam ( lag in Night shot mode still laggy with known bugs; cleared cache to test)
- LG camera has "Full Vision" as a settings now (screenshot below)
- icons in Settings appear detailed
- Dual App setting: run two same chat apps at once
- ask ...

Is it now possible to turn off the vibration/haptic feedback on the fingerprint scanner? Without going into a power save mode that is.

If you are on a totally unmodified system (N 7.0 NPJS25.93-14-18):

OTA_Package_OPJ28.111-22-1.zip
If you have installed TWRP or are on custom ROMs or have root and TWRP (whatever combo) there are two ways of flashing the latest build:
Method 1: Use the TWRP Flashable Builds created by @Jleeblanch . This will not remove your TWRP. Don't know about root yet.
Download and flash the OPJ28.111-22 TWRP flashable version in TWRP.
Method 2:
1. Flash stock N 7.0 via fastboot IF AND ONLY IF your bootloader version is BL1.06 or older. Don't try to downgrade. Else prefer Method 1.
2. Install the OTA file "Blur_Version.25.236.3.athene.retail.en.US.zip" via stock recovery/ADB Sideload or by placing it in your internal storage and granting Motorola Update Services Storage Permission and then Checking for Updates.
3. Install the file "OTA_Package_OPJ28.111-22-1.zip" by the same method as given in step 2.
For flashing updates using stock recovery:
Reboot to stock recovery. And choose update from SD Card. Choose the zip and install it.

glad to see the ROM, but have one query.
No one have received invitation of soak test in India.. nor seen a single word of leak of soak invitation or OTA.
Then How come the Stock ROM is available for download.
Its not a doubt just a query only and Thanks for sharing.

Same here. Even tried going to Settings > Trial version and it says there is none for my model yet.

It is still in beta testing in China and only has 2000 slots for the testing. All the slot has gone on the first day of the registration.

The admin in ColorOS forum did not disclose the date about the full stable release and their formal reply is something like stay tuned for the next batch of beta testing.

Thanks for that update. It's disappointing that nearly 3 months after the announcement there is still no stable version. Especially that they still keep pushing it in their marketing yet it's still not available on one of their more recent models.

Some places will be released before March 10. But if you don't like tasting, you can only go to the after-sales service to downgrade. You can't downgrade the mobile phone system yourself, so we suggest you wait for the official version. Thank you for your attention to China's oppo. I will feed back your doubts to oppo's engineers and let us use the official version as soon as possible.

I installed A.10 and it seems to only update the Android 2020-2 security patch.
And Mobile video RBT function.

All that is stated is to be in A.09 or A.10 and be ready today at 9:00pm EST (03,07,2020 at 10:00am china)
It will open the beta/trial version for 20,000 slots because the previous 5,000 were full.

The reason I ask is that for a while it would show me the trial version screen but say all 5,000 slots were taken, and that screen asked for a phone number. I have an oppo account so will check it out later. Thanks for posting this!
