Hey guys,
My device doesn't want to boot in the right way.
I've flashed RUU with the same version as before to see if this is the solution but nothing changed.
It boots till the welcome assist, like it was a new phone. That's okay but I can't get further this point.
It wants me to turn WLAN on and connect it. But there is no possibility to turn WLAN on?
I think it's because my memory is crypted and can only be encrypted by connecting with my google account. Is there a way to delete that cryption on my memory?
Or do you guys know how to activate WLAN with cmd or somehting like that?
I need really help here, I don't know what I can do any further. Do you guys think TWRP should be an option?
Thanks in advance!

I can turn on to allow apps to scan for wifi. Then press the butto to go back and the phone turns black except the watch upper right and the lock upper left side.
Then after 2 minutes it stays at either at the welcome screen or just back at the screen I've sent to you.
I've had also one time the message that the applikation android settings crashed and if I want to sent the report to HTC. But this was just one time.
I still think it's a software issue. But it has to be outside the firmware. Maybe my bootloader is not working correctly. What do you think about that?
Wow thats a good one,,, have you tried various other ruu that are compatable with your phone? What is the ruu version you tried

I've just tried this one:
2PZCIMG_OCEAN_UHL_P90_SENSE10GP_MR_HTC_Europe_3.34 .401.1_Radio_8998-200321-1905141529_release_signed.zip
I do not have tried other versions cause I wasn't sure which ones are matching my phone. I'm downloading this version as OTA right know with R1 special.
Just to give OTA update a try and maybe that R1 fixes my problem.

Yes it is. Yes I was already on this stage. I never had problems since I tried to restart the phone. It just booted one more time but I had to restart again. Since that day it doesn't boot anymore.

Yes I first have to connect to laptop. I'm at work and don't know what they think when I'm rooting my phone at work. But so what
I'll give it a try.
Yes I know it's locked but I have nothing against an unlock. Just did it not cause everythin was working and I was really okay with the official software.
If you can give me an advise how to unlock I can do. No problem.

If you were unlocked and rooted you could try to downgrade to oreo or nougat, at this point with it being locked thats impossible. Hopefully someone else has more knowledge than me and can give you better advise. Maybe keep trying different ruus.

I bought an LG G3 a few days ago, and I rooted it with no problems whatsoever. However, a few hours ago I followed a tutorial to increase the max volume which involved editing the mixer_paths_qcwcn.xml or the mixer_paths.xml file (depending on the model), but what that tutorial failed to mention was that I needed to change 644 permissions. So now I have a boot loop (stuck on the LG boot up screen), I've tried holding the volume down and power key down but no luck, help me with what to do please!

PLEASE CLOSE THREAD - THANKS!
I'M WILLING TO PAY $50 TO THE PERSON WHO'LL FIX IT
The phone was bought in bootloader unlocked status... so DRM keys were lost permanently....
The main issue: The wifi is not working, when turned on, it says "turning on" and It remains in that state, frozen and forever, and it never change.. I can't tick It back to off... also, the Wifi Mac Address is Unavailable in Android 5.1.1 But when I updated to 6.0 it changed to 22:00:00:00:00:00 and the problem persist.. same for the bluetooth, Mac Address unavailable, and cannot turn it on.
I did relock the bootloader in Flashtool, and I repaired It in Pc Companion, but nothing has changed. I did unlock again, and installed custom kernel, rooted, and installed Drmrestore, and same nothing worked!
I did a full wipe, I flashed in flashtool, then I did update in PC Companion, and now it's on Android 6.0, and nothing changed...
I've tried several stock rom versions, and still the same. Now, i'm currently in Android 6.0
Anyone has any advanced knowledge in that matter and if it's possible to be fixed/repaired/restored...etc, maybe something was lost in TA partition that affected the wifi and bluetooth functionality, maybe a missing folder in the system that could only be restored by doing some advanced programming...etc
some members in here told me it might be a hardware issue (wifi module...etc) i don't know, I would like to try again if there is another chance to fix it, so i'm not giving up YET!
anyone can PM me or leave a comment below. I'd appreciate your contributions and help.
PHONE SOLD OUT THIS MORNING Thanks to all.
below I attached some pictures and logcat...
Did you have any success upon relocking and flashing again? Did you try a Marshmallow build?
If this does not help the next option would be to flash an image (in unlocked state) without the initial setup included to bypass it.

If it is still broken after full wipe, maybe it's hardware issue...
There should be some error or warning in logs.
Code:
adb shell logcat -d > logcat.txt
adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt
will save logs (run it after restart)
Once u unlocked bootloader, did you flash drm keys back to the device?

Well, a month has passed, and I've forgotten everything I knew about this device, but I'll give it a shot when I have a chance. Stay tuned.
EDIT: It seems a month ago I built a test recovery for this device, but was waiting for a response before posting it. So @patrixs94 I'm attaching it here. Give it a try and let me know if it boots, and if so, I'll need a recovery log from it.
Ok, I will test it. Have one question - is it safe? In case of bootloop occurs, do you have any idea how to exit it? Can't find any RUU in web - that was the way I ever exit it, and by this way I was restoring official software. Is there any another way?

Flashing recovery shouldn't bootloop your device. Recovery is an entirely separate partition. You can try using "fastboot boot recovery.img" to see if that works, as that won't change anything on the device, but not all devices support it.
Honestly though, if you're not comfortable enough to test this, then there's no reason for me to work on this. Like I said, I know next to nothing about this device, so I need someone that can help me debug and provide logs, etc. Otherwise this exercise is futile.

OKAY (1.453s)
booting...
After hard restart the phone works again.
Does it helps you?

Flashing recovery shouldn't bootloop your device. Recovery is an entirely separate partition. You can try using "fastboot boot recovery.img" to see if that works, as that won't change anything on the device, but not all devices support it.
Honestly though, if you're not comfortable enough to test this, then there's no reason for me to work on this. Like I said, I know next to nothing about this device, so I need someone that can help me debug and provide logs, etc. Otherwise this exercise is futile.

All that tells me is that your device doesn't support fastboot boot. So you'll need to flash it to test whether it works or not.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Thx. Flashed, after booting to recovery mode there is start screen, but I am not able to swipe to unlock it. Where can I find the log? Is it something like db.fatal.dbg?

/tmp/recovery.log
Is adb working? If so, you can adb pull the above file. Then I can at least see how much is working (besides touch being broken).
Yes, ADB works, but the file doesn´t exist (with the way /tmp/recovery.log). Only general bugreport, attached.

The recovery log has to exist while in TWRP.
ADB doesn´t run while TWRP, screen attached.

That error is on the computer side, not on the device. Fix your adb on your computer and then try adb in TWRP again.
Ok, thx. I am not expirienced user of it, but try to solve it Where are all the others? Hey!!

Hey everyone. I rooted my Honor 8 yesterday using the following guide: https://www.xda-developers.com/honor-8-root-twrp-and-xposed/. Everything seemed to work fine at first, but soon my Bluetooth refused to turn on at random and apps constantly crashed (either on startup or when switching between them). It got annoying very quickly and after searching for hours and not finding any real solution, I decided root wasn't that important to me and I'd just unroot my phone and then hard reset. After using SuperSU's unroot function, my phone turned off and rebooted. But when it got to the blue screen with the honor logo, it froze. Nothing does anything. No matter which buttons I press/hold down. It's just stuck on that screen. I'd love to take out the battery, but with these new phones, it's sadly built in (who ever thought that was a good idea?). It's been this way for close to an hour. ADB doesn't recognize it anymore. The only way my PC seems to recognize it at this point is through the Device Manager, where it shows the yellow warning sign. Under Properties > General it reads "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". I've tried a few different things but none of them have worked. So this is where I'm at now. I'd hate to lose this phone since I just got it three months ago. I would really appreciate any sort of help, because I'm grasping at straws.

Sorry, I might not have made this clear, but I can't even turn my phone off. It's literally stuck on the blue screen (how fitting). The model should be 51090QMF, but I don't know what you mean with the last part.
Rommco05 said:
51090QMF...??? Model must something like FRD-LxxCxxxBxxx

My bad, I just looked it up on Amazon (where I bought it) and it said model number. This should be the real one: FRD-L09. The reboot worked, but it's still stuck on the honor logo. At least we know it's not hard-bricked now.
EDIT: I was able to get into eRecovery. Should I just press "Download latest version and reecovery"?

I bought my phone from the German amazon site, so whichever one that is. I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand your system question. I used 7.0 if that's what you're referring to.
Rommco05 said:
Now understand so your model is FRD-L09?(32Gb ROM)/L19?(64Gb ROM)C432(EU)
So when phone rebooting u still se message your device is unlocked nad cat be trusted?

Yes, the 32GB one. And as I said, I was able to get into the Huawei eRecovery. I'm guessing I should just hit "Download latest version and recovery" at this point, but I was waiting just to be sure.

You have still unlocked bootloader?
Try this:
1.create dload folder on inter. storage or sdcard
2.unzip zips which I here posted
3.put uziped separately to float

I do still have unlocked Bootloader, but at the moment I have no way to use it. My PC (ADB included) doesn't recognize the phone.

What about two is still in your phone? Unplug phone from usb and reboot, + hold vol up but must be unluged after try dload method with sdcard

holding vol up just brings me to the eRecovery menu, where I can't do much. I'm not sure how much of twrp is still on my phone. Before I tried to unroot, all of it was.
EDIT: Sorry, never mind. I got into TWRP.

I'm currently downloading your files, my bootloader is unlocked. After I have the files unzipped, do I just flash them? If so, in what order?
Edit: Welp, he went offline. Can someone else tell me what to do with these files?
Rommco05 said:
How wrote before, unzip this files and separately put each unzipped to dload on sdcard, first bigger one

Thank god, it booted. Thank you so much. What would be the best way to go about getting rid of root now? I'm willing to do a factory data reset at this point for everything to work again.

I'm just gonna go back to not having root after this, haha. It was just something I wanted to try, I don't need it that much. I did a factory reset and will now get my most important data back on my phone (thankfully I have a backup). Still, thank you so much for your help. I don't know what I would've done without you. I "Thanked" all your posts here, which is the least I can do.
