I just find that there are many things for the Z5 single sim. So is it okay to flash E6653 roms, ftf's and mods on my E6633?? Wouldn't that hard brick my phone (especially the Roms and kernels)?

If you flash an E6653 ROM on an E6633, you will not have SIM detection, that's all.

Hey thanks for answer! But you mean the second sim detection? Or the phone won't read any sim card that I insert? And did you try that? I always read about flashing roms of different devices could hard-brick a phone!

Yep, I've tried it when I received my Z5, I had never flash any ROM before, and so I have picked one randomly xD
This could, but between the Z5 and the Z5 dual there are no real differences apart the number of SIM card supported

@Sh4douw that's not good :/ and well yeah not a big difference but oh well! I was interested in this because I see more things about the single sim version..but yeah this is it ? thanks for your answers
Theres two sim slot, but it only supports single sim. Is there a way to activate dual sim? Maybe via rooting or no cos i think US version only has one IMEI number
I heard one of the previous Huawei(honor) device got dual functioning through update of dev or phone update , but the phone was released as single sim version , later it was activated second sim. Hope we can get that soon :
I don't think so but, if Frd-l04 have another "HIDDEN" IMEI then, it's 100% possible to achieve

My friend haad an L04 which he rebranded to L02. Not sure which country though.

FRD-L02 is for two countries
one is Indian version, which is FRD-L02C675BXX.
another one is japanese version , which is FRD-L02C635BXX.

I recommend to you rebrand to FRD-L19 because we had newest fw with monochrome mode... but I have FRD-L09 witch is dual sim but with 32Gb. I'm never before rebranded phone, so I not too much helpful here. But this backup will be probably very very useful for another member.

I was wondering about the same .
Last time i rebranded to L09 to test that stuff , it went in vain and got no help. Am sure that i did something wrong .( Wait i did nothing wrong as i rebranded successfully,got an ota update after first boot. Still no dual sim. )I suspect that i may have flashed a firmware meant for single sim. This time am collecting all info , let u guys know if i was successful on my next trial

Hey ..I was able to convert to eu and got dual sim but problem is my I get signal on sim 1 but sim 2 does not get signal even though it is being detected

Hi all!! I bought the a53 in Argentina and, to my surprise, there's no option to use the dual sim which the phones supports by hardware.
After reading a lot I find out that this is something that is hidden by software so I wanted to check with you which version have it enabled so maybe I could flash it into my phone.

Did you ever find a solution to this?A firmware that supports dual sim?
On another thread someone mention that the last software update enabled it but I couldn't get it to work on my...although it was a different A53 version.

oneplus 9 le2115 enable dual sim Yes I use it for sms verification and with it you can add 10 sim too.Because that's how I use it

I have the same and i know when it happens. Did this happen when you formatted your phone when you first upgraded to A13? This is what it looks like for me, I thought that now the last update fixes it, but I was wrong. This thesis has been waiting for a solution for about two months.
It's been like this since the first day I bought the phone, I think there is a restriction, there must be a restriction like t mobile, it can be solved with software, but unfortunately I don't know the solution to the problem.
