Ladies & Gents, I thought it was about time I fired up a thread for my latest app, so here it is .
All feature requests & suggestions taken on board, I am really keen to make this the best it can be!
It's available to download via Google Play & XDA Labs, the labs version can not be updated from the play store.
Details:
Volume Control Panel comes in 2 flavours, Free & Pro, the pro version offering a much wider selection of customisation's.
Volume Control Panel Pro is designed to work as a replacement to the system volume control overlay or along side it, with multiple customisation options and all 6 system volume controls instantly available at a click (Call & Cast are only shown when needed) with the extra added bonus of a screen brightness control.
Replace the system panel with the Volume Button Override option or launch the panel from the non obtrusive floating trigger, extra handy if your volume keys are worn or damaged.
Key Features:
* An Android 9/10 inspired Volume Control Panel.
* Instant opening.
* Works in Lock Screen.
* Override volume keys.
* Optional Swipe Up/Down floating trigger.
* Open from launcher or other apps.

Play Store Link (Pro): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=leedroiddevelopments.volumepanel

Notes:
Notification Volume
- If the Notification Panel is enabled and splitting ring & notification is supported by the system, ring & notification are independent, if the notification panel is hidden, both stream's are tied together and follow ring volume.
PLEASE NOTE: Button Mapping apps such as Button Mapper or Bixby Button Re-mapper may interfere if volume button customisation is enabled.
Required Permissions (Feature Linked):
* Accessibility - Detect volume +/- key presses.
* Do Not Disturb Access.
* Notification Listener Access - Detect audio casting.
* Overlay Permissions - Show the panel as a system overlay.
* Usage Access: Detect the presence of excluded applications.
If you would like to contribute to translating the app, please drop me an email and fork my git: https://github.com/LeeDroid-/Volume_Panel_Translations
Despite the generic Android system warning for all accessibility services, The Volume Control Panel Accessibility service does not capture or store any information, it simply listens for volume +/- button presses.

FAQ and Know issues:
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.
General Questions:
Need to install Gapps ?
yes
"Wipe needed before install ProBam?"
If you come from a different Rom :
FULL WIPE/CACHE/DALVIK CACHE/SYSTEM/DATA
"How do I edit custom toggles?" :
Go into Settings/Custom tiles.
What kernel does this ROM use?
CM kernel - supercharged!
Which launcher(s) are included in ProBAM?
Google launcher
Which equalizer(s) is included in ProBAM?
DSP with Stereo effects
Does this ROM with kernel supports UMS? (USB Mass Storage)
Yes

Added to the index, btw
this the greatest rom ever and i love it, but i need to ask something about the LCD density in the new update, why it doesn't affect apps screen
i mean this one, it's less intensified than in the previous version of aosb
here's how it used to look like
can you provide a solution please

I am not sure whether it's good place to write what I want and you are proper person, however... I hope i'm lucky enough
Firstly, recent 1.3.7 is really great release with many fixes and features (i love swiping notif/recents to launch in floating window), but I noticed it might be improved further.
Let me explain: we have heads up and hover but.. Neither of them open in floating window it gives an almost endless opportunities of multitasking!
What's more, I've seen on few roms feature like 'carrier label on statusbar' (idea from ios) which looks and works quite impressive to me.
Next one is weird placement of carrier label in notification pulldown. It should be on the very bottom, but it's apparentlt not
Last but not least, qs tile for battery looks weirdly and it doesn't follow statusbar's battery icon convention.
Apart from that, rom runs unbelieveably smooth and just fine
Oh, one more! I had tried to seek somewhere in source code a commit/place where outstanding charging animation of 'text' battery may be find.. Have you got any idea for that?
#edit:
I just found that I can't find any settings for statusbar's clock, like alignment, adding date, changing font. Am I missing something?
Thank you for the update, downloading now!
Features that would be nice to have: notification transparency, quicksetting tile transparency, quick access ribbon transparency. They were there in 4.4.2 versions, i think.
@Hbohd @dark'em anyone tried art? doesn't seem to be booting on my end.

NOTE
This build works on XT1521, XT1523, XT1524, XT1526, XT1527
Reserved
Im wondering is there any known bugs will this rom work on the cdma xt1526
The bugs are the same as cm-12.1
Hmm just installed the build and I already have something to report. First, speakers don't entirely work. Only ringtones work, actually. It looks like the system has tap sounds too, but I don't hear anything. All sounds work if I use headphones though. Also I have to remark that I don't find dolby anywhere, but I suppose it's activated because music sounds pretty well.
Anyway, thank you so much for this build! I've always had heat problems with all roms but this one ^^ I love it anyway <3
By the way, I tested this rom on XT1527
Alright. After using it some more, I managed to fix the speakers bug (I just restarted and they worked). However, in the morning I tried to listen music and the phone never detected headphones.. And they worked last night! I've been trying to fix that bug without success.. I hope you can fix this soon. That'd be the only thing I'd add to this ROM to use it as a daily driver ^^'
Smart pulldown
Could you add smart pulldown (pulldown quick settings if no notifications) to this rom? That's the only thing I miss. No bugs found
I can't seem to get data working I'm using the cmda varaint xt1526 everything else is great .Thanks

Enable USB Debugging on your device, ensure you have the adb drivers installed for your device and open a command window...here is the commands for the most buffers...
•adb logcat -b - Loads an alternate log buffer for viewing, such as event or radio. The main buffer is used by default. There are 3 log buffers on the Android system: "main", "events", and "radio". The default buffer is "main".
There are also a variety of apps with a handy GUI available on Play Store. Just search " logcat" and there will be several. Most have buffer filters etc.

I installed it and i liked it, a pity that the moto continues having wifi issues, it much better than CM or stock but it disconect from time to time and take 2 o 3 min to reconect, I would say that when it get conected the conection last 2 or 3 hours, after that it is lost and you had to wait a few to reconect
Congrat because so far it the best rom i tested
How com Norton 360 is eating this thing up? Says it has a trojan. I forget the name. I'm going to redownload and try again. Even when I went to the Sonic site, Google chrome flagged the site as containing harmful software.
Tester needed for LTE version for the latest build.. Please do pm me with the device name in the subject please. Thank you
new build is up

If it's the 14th June build, then it doesn't boot to me. It's stuck in the bootlogo, my phone vibrates, a brief dark screen shows up and then it does the same over and over again.
I am facing the same issue as well, mine is an indian LTE model.
I tried flasing this over other ROM as well ,didnt help and goes in a Bootloop.
Regards,
Amit.

I have builded this rom by taking cm11 as base. But not tested this rom on Galaxy Y as I don't have it. So, I want a tester to report bugs if there are some. It would surely boot as for Galaxy Ace (s5830i) it booted up.

It booted up for my device. Do one thing copy zip to your pc and then delete systemui.so from system/lib, then try to flash rom
Various bugs , just experienced 5mins and noticed several things like
1) USB Mass Storage not working
2) Unusual FC z in Settings(When you hit advanced, when you hit contributors)
3) Dont allow to access Tethering option
4) Too damn laggy boot animation, needs to resized
A lot things u need to fix up bro , best of luck for that, and yeah, a request to eliminate call delay, and if ya can develop kernel , do it , cause its on stock cm11 kernel(jenkins piri)
I ll let ya know bout other bugs later
Anyways, its a nice ROM indeed, but need development, laggy as hell

On the welcome screen the NEXT button (looks like right arrow/play) is rendered BEHIND the "emergency call" button making it unselectable.
The only way to make the button selectable/pressable is to rotate the screen 90 degrees.
This is a current bug in CM11 roms for S5360.
If this bug is not fixed, other UIs may not render correctly.
When i flash the Gapps, i get the droid with a warning sign, am i doing anything wrong? Followed everything point to point.
HEY I WANT YOUR ROM VERY BADLY!
This is an xda-exclusive free version!
Paid version on Google Play (same functionality): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cygery.screenbacklightoff
New: Now available via XDA Labs!
NEW: Video by MiroslavVitula: https://youtu.be/B7Wt3nIOdXg Thanks!
Review on NaldoTech: http://www.naldotech.com/turn-the-s...pting-videos-on-android-screen-backlight-off/ (Thanks!)
Device compatibility: second post
Why would I want to use this?
The typical use case is:
1. You use a video player app.
2. You only want to enjoy the sound/music.
3. Thus, you want the display to be off to save battery or because the brightness annoys you.
However, most players stop the playback when the screen is turned off.
An often used workaround are apps which set the backlight brightness to a very low (but still visible) value and/or put an additional dark layer on the screen. On typical LCD displays both methods keep the backlight on. Thus, it will still emit light and use battery power.
This app turns off the screen backlight completely without switching off the screen.
Features:
* Notification to quickly switch off screen backlight
* Single or double tap to deactivate
* Option to automatically activate when screen turns off
* Configurable activation delay
* Configurable overlay color and transparency
* Timeout
* Floating activation button (optional, enabled via additional notification)
* Setting to keep screen on (usually not required)
* Shortcut (allows other apps, e.g., automation tools, to switch off the backlight via this app)
How to turn the backlight on again?
Simply touch the screen.
What about OLED/AMOLED screens?
(Note: There are user reports where the app works on devices with AMOLED displays.)
An exception are OLED/AMOLED screens where the pixels itself emit light. I have no device with such a screen for testing. If you have one and test this app, please report whether it works or not.
It doesn't work!
* If you're using MIUI ROM: Please enable "Show popup window" for this app via the system settings.
* Make sure this app was granted root rights.
* Make sure that no brightness control or similar app interferes with this app.
* Do you know what the purpose of this app is? Please make sure before posting that "it doesn't work".
* Please take a minute to search the thread. If there's already an answer/solution this saves both of us time.
* Nothing helps? Post your device name, Android version, ROM name/version and describe exactly what you did, e.g., how you tried to use the app/what you clicked/etc.
