Are there any mods, roms, or kernels that allow for adaptive charging? Something like stopping the charge at 80% or only charging from 80-100% for the last hour of overnight based on previous usage patterns, or similar to the iPhone charging options?
The open beta builds have exactly this

Sorry, I guess I thought it was something on XDA and I couldn't find it here. Thanks.
Why not use ACC magisk module and companion app to give your adaptive charging in any ROM?

That's more like what I'm looking for, I didn't know that module existed.

Did you do the battery mod (aka pulse charging)? Looking at the graph, it looks like there was a lot of quick charge/discharge cycles. Pulse charging will force more juice into the battery due to the charger starting at a higher output for the first second when it it first plugged in until it settles to the correct output. If i remember right, this is due to the capacitors in the charger ramping up to being at full operating voltage from 0. Usually this only takes a fraction of a second and is only done once when the charger is first plugged in, however some clever person discovered if you can leave the charger plugged in and turn on and off the power to it quickly (this is where the pulse name comes from) it will continuously be in that higher output mode and force more juice into the battery. Those that have reported being successful in doing this have done so by doing things like plugging the charger into an outlet that in controlled by a light switch and switching it on and off quickly for a length of time. You have to be careful though, the batteries have been known to catch fire when pulse charged since they were never designed for it.

I had CM11 and then flashed franco kernel and battery was the same as yours 4040% and 3838%. Flashed stock CM nightly and all ok now.

So I got the closed framework and downloaded gravity box, knock code, and app ops. While the phone was fully charged and on standby it turned from 100 to 75% in a couple hours on standby. And while using thenphone there was too much battery drain. Does anyone know from which this happens (I think GB) but please share.
PS. Before applying I would get 20h+ of battery on low to medium usage.
Doesn't knock code need the digitiser to be powered up even when the screen is off?
Try disabling each module one by one until they are all disabled to see what happens.
Please do not post questions in general. Post them in Q&A. You put a [Q] in your thread title so you should know where this thread belongs

The Knock Code drains your battery. It requires the digitizer to be constantly on, thus the drain.

The knock code module just replaces the pattern lock. It doesn't keep the digitizer on like the LG G3. Doesn't work when the screen is off.

Battery drain rates are very dependent on usage patterns and sometimes the most insignificant settings changes can lead to well hidden sources of current consumption.
So my advise is to try to remember if you made any changes in your applications or usage patterns right before or after starting to use Xposed, as your answer my lie there.
Also try to identify if the high drain occurs from Xposed itself or one of the modules, by deactivating and/or uninstalling modules and Xposed. Please be very careful that usage patterns might easily tip your conclusions off.
To somehow prove what I'm saying here, I've noticed that on a high usage day, my N5 can last as low as only 8-10 hours on a charge, while on a low usage day, after 12 hours since unplugging, it still has at least 80% of the original charge.
Have a nice day!

I guess it is on the LG G3, but on that device it can also be used when the screen is on, as a lock screen method, which is what the module emulates.

Its fine that its only while the screen is on and its pretty cool actually.
I think I found the problem and that's its from xposed itself....after I uninstalled the framework I THINK that there is less drain...
Can everyone share their version of xpised and what modules they're running and how is the battery usage...?
Thanks

Unfortunately I have moved on from Slimkat. Now using @Calkulin version 3.7 of cm12.1. Stable and no issues at all.
This post is from last year, a lot changes has happened to OPO development. I suggest updating to any lollipop rom, Which at this point all are stable versions.

I can't do much with what you have. That's why I requested you provide a BBS log.
I can tell you that you need to go into Developer Options and disable NuPlayer (and reboot). That's (one of) the culprits of crazy battery drain in 5.0. I don't use ElementalX, so I can't say if it's default settings are contributing to your problems or not. You may want to roll with stock until this issue is fixed?
I recommend for now turning off NFC and turning location off or setting to GPS only. Working pretty good on CM12.

Always on display apk in the play store
Nicest option is: Magisk (root), install Rice Tweaks, than catch Plus Beat in Playstore. This way you can have the floating side bars repeatedly (in frequence AND in time inbetween) flashing AND set different per app colors. It's beautif. Like a notification LED but than using your whole sides.
