Ever so lightly blow the ear piece. They can get trash in them

No, reset and change ROM don't change nothing, I already had this problem, the TRICK IS CLEAN the EarSpeaker with cotton swab, toothbrush or plasticine.
My gold is everybody know this, because is very commom, our Phones go with us to everyhere in pocket of pants and ends up getting dirty.
I took long to realize that this was the problem.
I left a Youtube Video to you see. You can view more and more videos to clean very well your Speaker.
I hope this helps.

JAM Loudspeaker

My magician speaker blew up, and i sent it for repair. They fixed it 3 weeks ago.
Now i am at exactly the same point, my loudspeaker blew up again.....I donnot use any music or loud bass songs on it.....
so, i thought i would be better of with a newer one (stronger speaker) that i would installed it on it myself.....
is there a way to know what better loud speaker i should put in it?
Any info on this subject is appreciate it....
what is the max power output of the current speaker?
Hi NYPD,
after reading a few posts about "blown" speakers I personally guess it isn't the speaker itself which is the problem. Most of the time it's the connection between the speaker and the motherboard which is faulty.
Have a look at this and that post.

[SOLVED]Earpiece sound problem

The sound of the ear piece is very loud and distorted even when the volume is at the lowest setting. It sounds like when you put the volume too high on a crappy speaker. Rebooting the phone used to fix that problem for the last 3 months when it happened but doesnt work anymore... I run Dr. Gonzo's 6.1 rom
Any ideas? Software or hardware problem? Speakerphone and earphone is fine....
UPDATE: I looked at other forums for ear piece problems on other phones and some people reported that sucking then blowing hard directly into the earpiece can reshape the speaker and solve the problem
Well guess what... it worked now the sound is clear!

[Q] Earpiece problem

Hi,
I've noticed a "crackling" noise in ear speaker. My ear speaker started crackling very bad and it was hard to hear the person I was on the phone with. Even with the volume turned down about half way, I could still hear a little crackling sound but could barely hear the other person.
Does anybody have the same issue?
I do

It's a phone issue (EarPiece), just replace it.
I've ordered (price ~ 1 USD + delivery ~ 2 USD) an Earpiece in China and successfully replaced it (it took me about 10 mins to replace by myself). Now everything is fine.
The some problem with my Nexus 5X.
Ear speaker during calls crackling very bad.
I will send it back.
Hope the new one don't have this issue.

[Q] In call speaker broken

So my cousin bought this phone yesterday and during his first phone call noticed that he could only hear the other end of the call thru headphones or speaker. Verizon replaced it without question and there was no issue there. Was just wondering if anybody else got a defective device.

My first replacement had a bad ear piece. Cracking when turned up during a call.

If you're talking about using ur phone up to your ear, speaker by front camera, I would say replace it! Mine is very loud on full volume, honestly the loudest cell phone speaker I've ever had for the regular speaker, not talking about speaker phone here.

Call Volume is horrible, what can I do to fix it?

Hello.
I've gotten pretty frustrated with using my 3a for a while now regarding this specific issue, the call volume is just always super low and makes using the default phone app unbearable because I can hardly hear the other person, it is ALWAYS at max volume btw.
I just genuinely do not understand why the call volume is so low whilst the other volumes (media, alarms, etc) don't seem to have this issue and I can even get additional apps to boost the volume for those- but not the call volume.
It seems to have gotten worse just several days ago when some liquid hit the grill , so now instead of it sounding like someone is 3 feet away from the phone, it just sounds like 6 feet away. But even with this situation, it did NOTHING to my other volume settings.
Is there anything I can do to improve the loudness at all without depending on headphones? I would prefer having the phone on my ear , especially since calls on headphones literally echo whatever gets picked up on my microphone back to me I just honestly hate it.
Get a replacement phone. That's not normal. My call volume gets loud.

Is that really the only possible solution here...?
Everything else is fine...I just cannot find a way to make the call volume louder, just seems like Im stuck putting it on speakers or using headphones at the moment.
