WHERE TO BUY the chinese version PLEASE? - Realme 5 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello, i searched but i couldn't find the Realme 5 Pro chinese (original) version at a NORMAL PRICE. I mean, EU version is sold for 199EUR (often without discount = 179EUR) and for CN version i found prices MUCH HIGHER, which is certainly NOT normal nor acceptable. I don't want the EU version since it's locked forever (let's be realistic)! I'd be happy if people could list ANY seller having it avalaible at normal price (and normal shipping = not MONTHS), let me know thanks

Chinese version named as realme Q not realme 5 pro
I bought it from aliexpress

Don't be ignorant please. Please read a lot before advising uncertain things for being well-informed is a key element in giving advice. There are approximately 74.000 infected about now and only 1880 death of cases. Which means the rate of fatality is 0,0255229897581172%. Furthermore, no young people have been reported to die from Coronavirus yet for its similarity to influenza. Only people with weak immune system, especially old people have high chance to contract Coronavirus infection and die of it. The media is full of it, just to avert the world's attention from more important topics.
I've been ordering everything from AliExpress for 3+ years now including phones, clothing, jewelry, accessories etc . without issue and if there was an issue the sellers resolved it quickly in case of filing a dispute. I got my ordered stuff delivered and it is known Coronavirus can't survive without host for too long. Means you're completely safe in case of ordering from AliExpress for shipping takes time from 2 weeks to 1.5-2 months. Try this one @GoJo ^^ .

Tablets Online Store Review: HOTMID.com | 10/10 Service!

Hello,
I would like to thanks HOTMID.com and especially Tony who has given me top notch professional service from the order point and up to delivery and after sale point.
Extremely professional sales and customer service always fast and polite even when you have 1000 questions to ask!
I have ordered an tablet from them but for some reasons I felt discomfort with the model I ordered and week later I decided return it. I shipped them back the device and got full refund for the device, for the dock and for the DHL shipping!
Extremely happy and for sure will be repeating customer of this amazing guys!
PS; They have Asus transformer and many other branded models as well as the T2 (GTAB with 3G), Samsung Tablets at amazing rates and dozens of other great products. If you need true service and support. Go with HOTMID.com you won't be sorry!
Anyone else bought from this site ? i want to buy Huawei Ascend D1 or Xiomi m2 when start selling. should i trust this site ?
worst site!
I ordered 2 tablets for the first time from this site the service was nothing like described above
I paid for express shipping and took them 8 days to show up at dhl (yes it was in stock)
when i tried contacting them I got info that was of no use at all
so i tried contacting them again (3 mails in total) and they just ignored me
the tablets still need to arrive but I know for sure that I will never order from this site again!
I found the tablets i wanted for 10 dollars cheaper then the other Chinese sites so I ordered it here....
looking back on it it wasn't worth the 10 dollar less I never experienced any site this bad
I regularly order something from dx.com which is far from perfect and even they are a lot better and faster ( just to comparing Chinese sites)
example:
when something goes wrong on dx (or a lot of the other Chinese sites) you can even live chat with a employee
this site however refused to do anything about the situation at all and almost denied that I paid for express shipping!
conclusion:
well if u see a product on this site that you really wan't and cant buy elsewhere fore a similar price you can order it here but don't pay extra for the express shipping because its a rip of, but I strongly recommend buying your stuff elsewhere
High Prices
Hi,
I just left their site: http://hotmid.com/ , their prices seem to be WAY out of line. I recently purchased my new Lenovo IdeaPad A2109A @ my nearby Best Buy store for $ 249.00, and as you can see here : http://hotmid.com/android-tablets/lenovo.html the same model is $ 329.00 on their site. It DOES pay to compare !!

Reliable websites to buy Xiaomi mi4c

I created this thread because for some reason I can't post in the thread about xiaomi buyers, I can't even comment and I don't know why.
Anyways, I wanted to ask if anyone has had any experience with giztop.com and if so, a few questions.
1) did you have to pay customs?
2)was the phone in perfect conditions?
3)how long did the shipping take and how long did it take to get a tracking number?
Everyone is invited to post their experiences with different websites buying the xiaomi mi4c and also by answering those 3 questions if you can.
I ordered a Mi4C from geekbuying.com. It's a "big" and reliable website/store with many customers. Also their customer service support is fast and helpful, for example they included a gift in my order. I still haven't received my item because I chose the "slow" flat-rate shipping which can take ~15 days, but I'm not in a hurry.
I received a correct tracking number almost immediately after I placed my order. I'll report back with more answers to your questions
@Flaxe. How much did it cost you? Don't hesitate to come back when you get your product

It cost me USD 277.35. And I just noticed that it arrived in my country at 31 October, so it only took like 2 days to get here. Now the slow swedish post just have to hurry up!
I used Geekbuying too, to ship to the UK, shipping was free even though it was apparently 'expedited'. TNT was on the list as a 0 cost option and a 3-5 day shipping time. Mine was ordered on the 24th, shipped on the 26th, and in my hand on the 29th. Really hassle free. Phone was in perfect condition, and bloat seemed minimal if anything at all. Bloat is a bit of a moot point though as sMIUI went onto it straight away.
Do you guys think it'd be just as smooth to the U.S? Did you guys use EU warehouse? @Flaxe @Salieri_UK

I have no idea how it will be to the US, but I guess it will go pretty smooth. Mine was shipped from Singapore, they didn't have it in a EU warehouse when I ordered.
There is a thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4c/general/to-buy-outside-china-t3208959
I bought from ibuygou and asked them to check if there were any faults with the device, they said they will check. I got the device and it came with EU rom so no bloatware and they gave 2 free screen protectors. Got dhl tracking same day. They offer duty insurance, so if you get charged, they will refund you. Also very repsponsive with emails. I'd use them again

@ermacwins. Did you pay any customs duty or tax? And the screen protectors, were they packaged separately?

I haven't heard anything about it yet. Though, when reading at the swedish import "laws", there's 0% duty for importing phones, but we still have to pay 25% tax.
When I track the item on the swedish post website, it now says the item is being sorted at the terminal and I should have it delivered to me tomorrow. So then I will know for sure if I have to pay anything extra.

No because I paid for the duty insurance which is 5% of total. They still marked the item $20 but I didn't want to risk it. Yes packaged separately but I'm not sure if they give it to every customer.

Are the screen protectors original products or Xiaomi? Also, would you consider 7.8 mm thick or thin for a phone? That's the thickness of the Xiaomi mi4c @ermacwins
@ermacwins
Well it doesn't have a xiaomi logo on it but does have the mi logo
Yeah, its supposed to have the mi logo

Xiaomi official point of view regarding spare parts

I'm an owner of a Xiaomi Mi 4C and I have a problem with my display (got some nasty spots from heating probably) and I send an email to Xiaomi EU email adress asking them where from I can buy an original display for it. After more than a month with no answer from them, I forwarded the email to another Xiaomi support email adress and finally I have the answer here... This is the reason why this phone will be my last phone ever bought from a chinese manufacturer...
Xiaomi support answer https://imgur.com/qPawNdX
Sent from my Mi-4c using Tapatalk
i think it is pretty obvious that when you buy a phone from a reseller, and from outside your country, and also being that country China, it is obvious that you totally risk the warranty for getting a cheaper phone....
Also, if you didn't know, Xiaomi don't sell Mi4C outside of china, so for them you are not a client
Yup - when buying Chinese electronics outside of the supported market, there are risks. Those risks are greatly offset by the price.
If you still need a display, GearBest has been advertising OEM replacement assemblies for about 35- 40 bucks.
Please...

Boys and gurls,
I`m aware of everything you said up and I agree with that. But my main problem is that I just asked them to point me an ONLINE original spare parts seller so I can buy one ORIGINAL display. Thats all i asked from them. So noone from online stores are selling originals by their concept.

obviously xiaomi wont tell you to buy to a reseller, the same way samsung wont tell you to buy a replacement of battery or screen in aliexpress...
they don't sell officially spare parts, so the answer will be no or will be take the phone to our official SAT

Ali Express Recommendations

Anyone have any recommendations regarding reliable stores on Ali Express
The 7 pro is about 1 to 200 euro cheaper there at the moment.
I understand that it will be china model but seems like a deal.
Anyone any experience with this ?
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/Oneplus/311331_515316811.html?spm=a2g17.12010608.nav-list.36.44257b99Ma8S05
This is the seller which my friend is working with. He is trusted since me and my friends bought a lot from him.
So you save up to 200 euro to wait at least 30 days for shipping from a sketchy retailer you have no info on.
Or just wait 25 days, you will potentially be able to save up that extra 200 euro, then order directly from oneplus or another trusted retailer near you and get it in the same or possibly sooner time frame and it will be the correct model for your region.

I think your missing the point,
I'd still have to pay €750 for the phone that way I could actually do that now if I wanted to but I wouldn't be saving anything
Site is trusted & tested ,If Anything goes wrong AliExpress team Steps in & Almost gives decision in favour of customer. They Even sometimes flash International rom on it. I ordered Oneplus 1 from them & several items afterwards

I just got information from the seller that If you write a message to this seller during the order and give him my nick as a code: Dorsefrith you will get 5% discount
You will have to wait with payment until he lowers the price.
Gone off the idea of using AliExpress, seems it's hit or miss when you will actually receive the device and stores advertising 6-8 days DHL is just an empty promise and then you've got the possibility of dealing with Customs,It's easy to get pulled in with the prices but overall not worth the hassle.
Gearbest is decent should be faster than Ali Express and some coupons for discount, Also avoid DHL they're a scam. I've had problems with them in the past with custom charges etc.
I want to buy from Gearbest but the phone was sell only from China or Hong Kong warehouse. Price was Good.
In my country, 19% vat + 2-4% custom... NO ! Thanks. But NO!
I both from a sales forum in my country a blue OnePlus 7 pro 8gb-256gb with 550 euro . Wonderful!

You'll still pay import taxes, if not then it's an illegal sale.

Looking to find a Reputable Seller to ship to Canada

Hi
I am looking to purchase the new Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra China Version and have it shipped to Canada.
Could someone suggest a reputable company to buy from?
Looking for the 16GB RAM 512GB version.
Thanks!
liaow(.)com/
The site doesnt seem like much, but I bought my Oppo Reno 10x from them last year. Shipping was very fast, took only a few days to get to Ireland.
I've read good things about tradingshenzhen. I haven't used it yet but will probably buy from there.
i've bought 6 phones from Liaow excellent experience each time 4-5 days shipping to the states. i was gonna buy the mi 10 ultra, but found a find x2 pro for a excellent price. I may still grab one though!!
Try Wanda Mobile, ive used them in the past and all good to UK

I have ordered this phone to the UK thanks to this post. I have bought from China before and expect no hassle especially being in the UK (and hope any USA buyers have no problems!) but thanks for this post as it helped me made my mind up. Plus they take Paypal, and I have paid via credit, so if anything goes wrong they can get invovled
Edit: so today I had an nice email from Liaow. Just checking I know if the phone will work in my country, warning me about customs tax if they open it, just everything really. Made me very confident, they have some shipping delays due to Corona but we're still looking at one week in total. I was very reassured, the guy had perfect English and checked on things most suppliers just would not bother with.

Liaow also shipped my phone last year with DHL. I orderd and on the 8th of July I got an email from them with the waybill info and also a photo of the package itself. 3 days later on the 11th of July I got an email from DHL for customs duty to be paid, it was 47 euro. So 3 working day shipping from Hong Kong, that's what I call fast shipping.
That Mike from Liaow is the nicest guy ever. Not only did he contact me before confirming my order to make sure - a nice thing to do for international sales but not something I've ever seen before! - but he's kept me updated every step of the way with photos of the packaging, the address label for me to check and even weighing the package for DHL!
Liaow.com really went above and beyond. They even put the price of the phone as much lower than it really is for customs.
I got mine 16GB RAM from ALI BABA , seller name is "Fujian Century Sea Power Co., Ltd. Manufacturer, Trading Company"
For me, the recommendation goes to Wondamobile - 4 days shipping time from china to central europe, quick and helpful customer support and they promise to pay import fees themselves, should any arise.
I've got mine from mi4canada.()com and I have only good things to say about them (the shipping was with dhl express and it took 4 days to deliver). It's the second phone I've purchased from them.
I got mine 16GB 512GB edition from liaow.com, Mike- the site owner is the most responsive and helpfull man. I will buy one more silver tomorrow.
