hi all!
i have a android 9 car unit (mic av8v5) and i am wondering if its possible to set audio output stream of a specific installed app.
okay, lets explain what i want: my tomtom mobile navigation app allows me to choose the output stream to a specific channel (music, alarms, notifications, the incoming call ringer, system sounds...) (see https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/media-apps/volume-and-earphones and
Android uses separate audio streams for playing music, alarms, notifications, the incoming call ringer, system sounds, in-call volume, and DTMF tones. This allows users to control the volume of each stream independently.

this allows me to lower the volume of music while a navigation sound is played with normal volume. this setting can only be made in tomtom navigation app but not in any other navigation app i tested. so i am windering if there is an app that works like a "proxy" so i can configure the app and the according audio stream.
is this possible???
thx in advance

I am listening to streaming radio and transferring the sound to my bluetooth headset, but often even with headset, media player, and physical system volume turned up to maximum, it is barely audible.
Is there any app that works on the WM6 Touch/Vogue that will increase the overall system volume, rather than the call-talking volume, so that things like music and streaming radio can be made louder than the default maximum? Boost it higher than the built-in level?
Thanks...
Is there a way? There are apps that can do this but the optimus 3d override their settings and have the loud click sound again.
I've noticed this from time to time... the keyboard volume is linked to media volume. Sometimes i just pull down the notification area, play music, adjust media volume, stop music. voila
I'm looking for an app, if it exists, that can control the volumes of each individual app running, or at least multiple apps.
I'm a firefighter and when I'm off duty running around town, I like to listen to a "scanner app" through my phone while it's connected to my car stereo via bluetooth. I'll often listen to music this way, too. I'm trying to find a way to run both apps and control their volumes independently... as to have one turned up louder than the other. Because they're both classified as "media volumes" I have been unsuccessful at trying to do this, simply because I can only control the overall media volume.
Does anyone know of an app that would work similar to the windows 7 volume mixer that would allow me to control the volumes of individual programs and apps?
Hey all I have a note 4 phone and while in the car I stream my audio via Bluetooth ,a2dp, also I use navigon navigation that stream the directions also by a2dp. Wondering how I can set the volume for navigation lower than the music? While navigation is active the Music mutes then the navigation directions come through, but its to loud and I would like to quite them down but the volume buttons also turn down the music, Any ideas??
Is there a way that when you're playing music through a Bluetooth speaker that the notifications don't interrupt the music, apart from setting the phone to DO NOT DISTURB?

Bluetooth device should have 2 options available: Media Audio and Call Audio, disabling Call Audio for that specific BT device.

Yes I did that, but notification sounds still come through the Bluetooth speaker, what is the separate sounds feature suppose to do?
Putting the phone on vibrate works. My phone for the most part stays on vibrate all the time and notifications never interrupt.
