[Q] HTC Sensation XE Relocked bootloader to Locked

Hi guys , i unlocked my bootloader with HTC-Dev but now i want to use my warranty
How to change Relocked bootloader to Locked bootloader ?
My HBOOT version is 1.29.0000
Please help me , thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english

if you visit htc dev site again and go to unlock bootloader
you will see 1 or 2 last steps on how to relock bootloader
anyway use these commands to relock your device
fastboot oem lock
fastboot reboot-bootloader
i assume you know how to do it

yes i know how to relock the bootloader , now it's relocked but i want to bootloader says 'locked' for use my warrranty

unfortunately AFAIK it stays as RELOCKED for ever

[Q] How to change relocked to locked? (About Bootloader)

I have a mobile phone for HUAWEI, but their cell phones's bootloader was locked . if i unlock it , i can't have After-sales service. so i want to restore it, what should I do? my cell phone is HUAWEI G520. Thanks a million ~

did you unlock with the fastboot command fastboot oem unlock?
maybe its as easy as fastboot oem lock

No, i didn't unlock my drvices .Because i can't unlock it,if i unlock it ,i can't have after-sales service.
I know how to unlock it. I want to lock the Bootloader again, let it show locked instead relocked , when i input fastbootoem get-bootinfo.

oh i understand now.. as far as i know there will always be a trace of the bootloader that has been unlocked.

You could fastboot erase boot
and all other partitions
then flash the boot.img with fastboot again.
and fastboot flash all of the stock paritions

Luckily I met you... But I should root , When i root this drvice, i must unlock it.. So if i back up this partition, this partition's contents was changed,
this boot.img is unlocked...This approach seems to not work, right?Finally, thank you for your thoughts.

You know, i'm not really sure where it says that the bootloader is locked or unlocked in the phone.

[Q] Help to flash a Chinese version

Hi! To start with, my fastboot mode has no logo but some Chinese alphabet before "fastboot" then when entering first command the result is "Device not unlocked cannot flash or erase"
What am I suppose to do to get on a flashed CyanogenMod 11S ?
actual version is 11.0-XNPH19O build nr KVT49L

You need to unlock your device by running fastboot oem unlock

Flash stock rom in fastboot, then use fastboot to relock after phone boots. Command is:
Fastboot oem lock
DO NOT ATTEMPT LOCK WITH TWRP AND MAGISK INSTALLED!!

General 🔴WARNING 🔴: if you plan to unlock the bootloader & root your device, read this ❗❗❗

If yo u are planning on unlocking the bootloader and rooting, then get either the global version, or Tencent (which is Chinese market version) but it has to be on Chinese ROM so you can unlock the bootloader.
if it is Tencent edition with global ROM, just do not buy it.
the issue faced by most who get Tencent edition with global ROM is that the resellers unlock the bootloader to flash the global ROM & then they relock the bootloader.
ASUS only allows you 1 time unlock.​unlocking for a 2nd time is yet to be successful.
i am facing this issue myself hence i do not wish it to anyone else.

Unlock only allowed once even with global. Once relock, can't unlock again.

If you purchased the device from eBay or Amazon and it is a Tencent version with WW installed, you may want to check that it isn't already unlocked. There are also some sellers that convert the phone and then lock the bootloader again without realizing it is once and done.

What exactly is it that prevents the Tencent version from being re-unlocked? Do you know? Is the unlock tool coded to reject subsequent unlocks on Tencent? When I confirmed with ASUS that I could re-unlock mine after they rolled it back to factory (WW version not TC), the guy told me you can unlock indefinitely, they just register that you've done it over the internet when you use the ASUS tool...

I honestly don't know if it is some step that is being performed incorrectly or corrupted conversions. I was able to unlock mine again after being sold a converted version, but it also had the original serial and IMEI intact. It could also be a myth left over from the 3.

Thats exactly the problem. They only allow the BL to be unlocked one time. It will stay unlocked after that unless you relock it yourself. Once re-locked, you are locked for good.
Unless someone figures out a way around it, and to my knowledge previous ROG devices have had no such luck.

Low-level EDL is supposed to be able to fix that. I don't intend to test it.

Try to use "fastboot oem asus-official" to unlock

I thought this phone would be really popular among enthusiast but it failed miserably. Unlocking bl is hard from what I'm reading so I guess we won't have custom roms any time soon
