if you visit htc dev site again and go to unlock bootloader
you will see 1 or 2 last steps on how to relock bootloader
anyway use these commands to relock your device
fastboot oem lock
fastboot reboot-bootloader
i assume you know how to do it

U can re-lock bootloader by using this command, however it will say re-locked instead of locked...
Code:
fastboot oem lock
I bought a used Z3. I want to make sure that the bootloader has not been relocked. I have gone into the service menu and it does not say that it is unlocked. If it had been relocked, would it say it there? Is there a way I can check that it hasn't been unlocked and then relocked?
*#*#7378423#*#*
Service info/configuration
Bootloader unlock allowed:No (Boot is locked and cannot be unlocked)
Bootloader unlock allowed:yes (Boot is loacked but can be unlocked)
Bootloader unlocked:yes (Boot is unlocked)
Greg
I don't think you can tell if it has been locked and relocked

Try using miracast
It's reported to be broken in devices with unlocked bootloader

Afaik
It won't
yeah I've got Bootloader unlock allowed:yes but that doesn't say whether it's been relocked.
on some HTC devices it would say "relocked" in the bootloader, that's the kind of thing I'm looking for.
and unfortunately I don't have anything to miracast with anyway.

Hello, it is possible to complete unroot the HTC One A9 inclusive lock Bootloader and switch from s-off to s-on?
Thank you for your answers.
You need Run an RUU for your device, it will bring your phone completely back to stock
to lock bootloader: fastboot oem lock
after flashing your corresponding rom:
to reset S-Off to S-On: fastboot oem writesecureflag 3

RUU doesn't regain s-on and it doesn't relock bootloader. To relock bootloader you should be running a command in fastboot that's similar to
Code:
fastboot oem relock

but RUU.exe must set software to official, or not?

To ruu you need to relock bootloader only if you are s-on, if you're s-off you don't need to worry about that.
Ruu also might not set it to official, because you would have a modified boot.img, though correct me if I'm wrong.
