Once when i had redmi 3s. While flashing fastboot rom because i massed up some things when installing cus roms, i accidentally locked the bl again from flash tool. I get some errors in flash tool. So overall my bl by some way again get locked and i am not able to boot. So i made a edl cable at home and deep flashed the correct fast boot rom. After again 15 days about i unlocked bl again. So just curiously i asked is this method works for rn 7p also?

Im not sure if FRP have something common with flashing recovery. https://www.androidcentral.com/factory-reset-protection-what-you-need-know thats just protect to your phone, when you loggin to another account how last time before and after factory reset

U can assume its enabling oem unlock from developer options . If u disable it ,u cant unlock bootloader.

When the bootloader is unlocked such feature no longer works and stands for vulnerabilities.
But FRP when locked u cannot unlock ur bootloader .
U need to keep it in unlocked state , this happens only when your device has oem unlock enabled . May be it is just to make sure that the device doesnt belong to a traitor

I'm also stuck here.. No bootable rom, phone doesn't detect SD card (Tried 2 brands, 16 gb, 32 gb, and 64 gb)
Fastboot screen has bootloader unlocked, FRP LOCKED
When I try and flash a recovery, or update whatever, using flashboot.. always gives " FAILED: REMOTE COMMAND NOT ALLOWED"
TWRP: I have tried RESTORE to back up.. all things go right except at the end get "UNABLE TO WIPE VENDOR"
I try and install an old ROM (162)
Results into this error:

I dislike Huawei so much right now...

So you sure have good adb drivers and you have already instaled phone drivers

Yea, I think I have good drivers... as I can see the device if I do "FLASHBOOT DEVICES".. it shows up.
I am using command "fashboot flash recovery recovery.img"
Rommco05 said:
Yes but the last must exactly the name of recovery and must be in adb folder

Yes, its in here.
Alternatively, in TWRP through ADB sideload.. I also attempted "ADB SIDELOAD Update.zip".. error: "cannot read update.zip".
Rommco05 said:
You cant boot to system yes

No.. no system access.
I write commands in ADB/Fastboot CMD...

And you must already in fastboot, turn phone off, plug phone to pc/usb and turn on with vol down and on/off

Yes, I am in fastboot screen (where it reads phone unlocked.. FRP LOCKED).
Devices detected with "fastboot devices" prompt..
Rommco05 said:
Ok, thats look like you dont have in pc drivers for phone = Hisuite

Hisuite is running..
To clarify..
1. TWRP Installation of "UPDATE.ZIP" (containing 162 ROM) fails.. with "Unable to mount /vendor, unable to mount/partition"
2. TWRP ADB Sideload: Can't mount
3. Phone in white Fastboot/ADB bootloader: Status reads Bootloader unlocked, FRP Locked.. with commands it gives error FAILED (REMOTE: COMMAND NOT ALLOWED).
So phone is connecting without problems..

Mi CC9 Pro bootloader relocked

hi can anyone help me un-brick the device, it has working fastboot mode , EDL mode and stock recovery mode but boot-loader is re-locked due to re-flashing global rom with clean all & lock option .... now i am stuck , tried flashing via EDL mode but asking for authorized account also tried QFIL but it gives sahara fail error ;(
Look out for paid service online, don't think any free way
Have you the Chinese model and relocked the bootloader after flashing Global ROM via fastboot or what?
That's always a bad idea my friend...

If fastboot works, you might be able to unlock the bootloader using fastboot.

How to do it? I have the same probelm and some extra ones too(OEM unlocking not turned on and usb debugging is off).
Re-flash Stock ROM. Then enable USB-Debugging and OEM-unlock. Afterwards you can apply all the mods you want.

Question Redmi 8A Dual Flash

My device (Redmi 8A Dual) is on bootloop and im trying to flash it from the MiFlash Tool but i can't do it, it gets stuck on Authentication and I don't have any MI Account on this device please help. Thank You.
Are you able to get into recovery? What kind of authentication? I don't think you need an MI account to flash using MiFlash Tool.

Yes, I'm able to boot into Recovery but my phone is bootloader locked that's why it's asking for Mi Account Authentication in order to flash using MiFlash.

Bootloader locked is a bummer. You can't flash anything in fastboot. Now your only bet is EDL mode. And it requires someone with an MI authorized account. Try to take it to a service center.

You need to enter fastboot.
Remember the account used to unlock the device, it is exactly the same, I did it because I locked my olivewood on flashing firmware and had to solve it.

Question Allow oem unlocking option missing in developer options

So, i recently flashed arrow os 12.1 on my poco x4 pro (veux) using twrp. Flashing the rom removed twrp and now i cant flash it back because fastboot says that my bootloader is locked...
Of course, it isn't and the problem is that allow oem unlocking isn't on... I really would appreciate some help because i've been stuck on this rom for a day.
Gonna wait for some answers, thank you.
In the first place, flashing the rom shouldn't relock your bootloader. Can you please reboot to fastboot mode and use mi unlock tool with the same account you used to unlock bootloader first time.

Thank you for your response. Sadly i already tried that and the tool says that the phone is unlocked.
I'm trying to reflash stock rom via EDL mode, but i always get some error.
By the way, when using fastboot getvar command, it says that my bootloader is locked.
So, i recently bought a poco x4 pro (veux) and flashed a custom rom using twrp. Sadly, the rom's recovery managed to overwrite twrp and when i tried to flash twrp back, i could not flash it because fastboot said my bootloader wasn't unlocked. When i tried to unlock the phone again the xiaomi tool said that the bootloader was already unlocked. So, i used the getvar command which said that my bootloader was locked. So, i remembered that i didnt turn on allow oem unlocking in developer options. Sadly, when i looked for it the setting wasn't there. I tried using Edl mode to go back to stock but with no success. I always get some failed to read hello packet error. Can someone give me any help? Im kinda getting desperate...

Go to service centre if it is critical. I have never seen such case so i couldn't help. I am afraid that you would have to pay the service centre people money for reflashing your device.
Also have you tried flashing fastboot ROM (MIUI) through fastboot? Also try to flash stock recovery rom via the recovery you have now currently.
Another thing you could try is using the Xiaomi official flashing utility (which is not unlock tool) to flash stock rom which does not require OEM unlock.
